Chen Xiaonuo ran over to Meilin Huang and hugged her beautiful legs, grinning as she said, "Aunt Meilin, you are so nice! You have the best taste, unlike Daddy, hmm." After saying that, she playfully made a face at Chen Haoxuan.

Chen Xiaonuo didn't give her father any face and made a cute face at him: "Daddy, you wouldn't dare!" She was right; Chen Haoxuan truly couldn't bear to do that. He had never punished her or even scolded her. Even when Chen Xiaonuo had an accident on him when she was little, he just laughed it off.
"Aunt Meilin, come on! Xiao Nuo will take you to play," Chen Xiaonuo said, pulling Meilin Huang's hand as they headed outside.
Seeing that Chen Xiaonuo was leaving, Qiuqiu immediately jumped off Chen Haoxuan and accurately leaped onto Chen Xiaonuo's shoulder.
Once outside the villa, Chen Xiaonuo looked up at Meilin Huang and asked, "Aunt Meilin, what do you want to do first? Do you want to see the scenery first, visit the temple first, or go shopping first?"
Meilin Huang bent down and gently brushed her finger across Chen Xiaonuo's nose while smiling warmly. "Our lovely Xiao Nuo can decide! Wherever you take Aunt Meilin, I will happily follow."
"Aunt Meilin, then I’ll take you to the temple first, then to the riverside to enjoy the scenery, and finally shopping before we head home for dinner. How does that sound?" Chen Xiaonuo planned.
"Sounds great! I’ll follow your arrangements," Meilin Huang replied happily. How could she not be excited to spend time with such a cute and smart child? No wonder Chen Haoxuan said that as long as she took her out to play, she would surely have a wonderful time.
Chen Xiaonuo first took Meilin Huang to the temple. The temple was on top of a hill, and it would be tiring for a little child to climb up. So every time she visited the temple, she would ride in a palanquin for free; no one ever wanted to charge her. The palanquin at the foot of the hill was a simple one carried by two people—essentially two bamboo poles tied to a reclining chair. Thanks to the lively Chen Xiaonuo, Meilin Huang got to ride up without any cost.
Along the way, Chen Xiaonuo chattered non-stop, introducing various sights to Meilin Huang. At every spot or even when passing by a tree, she could tell captivating stories that left Meilin Huang impressed. Not everyone has such eloquence at just four years old!
After paying respects at the temple, Chen Xiaonuo took Meilin Huang to the riverside. The riverside of Chen Family Village was the most beautiful scenery, with many exquisite wooden bridges. Most importantly, the world's richest person had once gotten married here, and several high-profile figures from various countries attended the wedding. During Chen Haoxuan's wedding, nearly all of the wealthiest people in the world gathered here, making the wooden bridges highly significant.
On the wooden bridge, Meilin Huang admired the beautiful scenery and exclaimed, "It's so beautiful! I wish I could live on this wooden bridge forever."
Chen Xiaonuo tugged at Meilin Huang's clothes and said in a delicate voice, "Aunt Meilin, the patrolling uncles said you can't live here; you can only rest and play." Chen Xiaonuo thought Meilin Huang wanted to stay on the bridge. Her father had told her to take Meilin Huang out to have fun, so she felt responsible for her. If Meilin Huang wanted to live on the bridge, she would have to find a way, but she couldn't think of one, leaving her feeling conflicted.
Meilin Huang awkwardly replied to Chen Xiaonuo, "Aunt Meilin was just joking; I didn't really mean to live on the wooden bridge."
"Aunt Meilin, how about this? I'll take you to stay on a luxurious yacht; it's really fun on a yacht! But Daddy won't let Xiao Nuo stay there," Chen Xiaonuo said sweetly.
Meilin Huang picked up Chen Xiaonuo and laughed, "That's because your daddy is worried about you. You need to know that being in the water can be very dangerous. So Xiao Nuo, you must never go play in the water alone; if you want to play in the water, there needs to be an adult present."
Holding Chen Xiaonuo, Meilin Huang finally took a good look at Qiuqiu perched on Chen Xiaonuo's shoulder. It was adorable with its pink hue and somewhat human-like expressions. Seeing how cute Qiuqiu was reminded Meilin Huang of what Chen Haoxuan had told her—that Qiuqiu could understand human speech. Intrigued, she asked Qiuqiu, "Qiuqiu, can you understand what I'm saying?"
Qiuqiu grabbed onto Chen Xiaonuo's collar with its two paws, looked at Meilin Huang, chirped twice, and then nodded twice to indicate it understood.
Seeing that Qiuqiu truly understood human speech surprised Meilin Huang. "Wow, you really can understand!"
Chen Xiaonuo eagerly answered for Qiuqiu in a sweet voice. "Aunt Meilin, Qiuqiu is very smart! It can fight, catch mice, and even catch fish. If you don't believe me, Xiao Nuo can let Qiuqiu catch some fish for you to see. When Qiuqiu catches them, we can have Uncle Boss at the barbecue shop by the river grill them for us; they will be delicious!"
"Qiuqiu, go catch some big fish for us; we’re going to eat grilled fish later!" Chen Xiaonuo called out to Qiuqiu on her shoulder.
Upon hearing the words "grilled fish," Qiuqiu's eyes sparkled with greed; it loved meat more than anything else as long as it was tasty. It jumped down from Chen Xiaonuo's shoulder with a thud and dove into the river.
Meilin Huang thought Chen Xiaonuo was joking, but she didn't expect Qiuqiu to really jump into the river. She became anxious and wondered what to do! How could a mouse possibly swim? She urgently said to Chen Xiaonuo, "Xiao Nuo, wait here for Aunt Meilin. Aunt Meilin will go to the shore and call for help to get Qiuqiu back. Don't cry, okay?"
Chen Xiaonuo grabbed Meilin Huang's clothes and seriously said, "Aunt Meilin, don't worry. Qiuqiu will be fine. He learned to swim from my daddy; he's really amazing! Other people can't catch fish with nets, but he can catch them with his paws. Just wait a moment; he'll catch a fish soon."
Chen Haoxuan was concerned for his daughter's safety, so he forced Qiuqiu to learn how to swim. In reality, Chen Haoxuan never taught Qiuqiu how to swim; he just threw Qiuqiu back into the water whenever Qiuqiu struggled to swim ashore or tossed some coins in. Then, if Qiuqiu could find those coins in the water, he could exchange them with Chen Haoxuan for treats. Through this rigorous training, Qiuqiu not only learned to swim but also became capable of catching fish in the water.
