The Nursemaid quickly replied, "Yes, please wait a moment. I will report to the Princess right away." After saying this, she turned and went to inform Luo Bingbing. 0

Luo Bingbing, without even lifting her head, calmly said, "No, I'm not interested." 0

The Nursemaid wanted to persuade Luo Bingbing, but before she could say anything, she suddenly met Luo Bingbing's intense gaze. The look in her eyes conveyed many things, including a clear message for the Nursemaid to be quiet. 0

Understanding the meaning behind Luo Bingbing's eyes, the Nursemaid helplessly turned around and, upon reaching the door, tactfully conveyed Luo Bingbing's sentiments. 0

The three individuals listening to the Nursemaid were both surprised and frightened. They thought that since they had stood at the entrance of Piaoyun Pavilion for so long without any issues, they exchanged glances and reached a silent agreement. They decided to muster their courage and ask the Nursemaid to bring them in front of Luo Bingbing to invite her to the hall. 0

The Nursemaid found their reasoning sound and agreed to lead them. She thought perhaps they could persuade their Little Princess to meet the Prince, thus sparing her from punishment. 0

As they arrived at the door of the study, just as the Nursemaid was about to report inside, they heard Luo Bingbing's cool and youthful voice. "No, Nursemaid. Show them out and close the door." 0

Though Luo Bingbing only spoke eight words, they felt as heavy as a thousand pounds in the ears of the three invitees. Terrified at the prospect of being dismissed, they hurriedly ran outside, eager not to be last in leaving. 0

After hearing the maid's detailed account, everyone temporarily forgot their fear and began to murmur that Luo Bingbing was too arrogant and disrespectful; she should be severely punished. 0

Only Lord Lo An and the strategist remained silent, sitting expressionlessly in their chairs. Both seemed lost in thought: "There are no monsters or demons in this world; from their account, it is clear that there is a skilled protector hidden near that Little One in Piaoyun Pavilion. But who could it be? Who would care so much for a five or six-year-old Little Doll?" They exchanged questioning glances. 0

As everyone chattered away, Lord Lo An's furious voice cut through the noise. "Shut up! Is this house governed by you or by me?" 0

Without thinking, everyone replied in unison, "Of course it's you." 0

"Since you know it's my decision, why are you still arguing here? Look at yourselves; do you even resemble servants? If you continue like this, our Prince Luo's Residence will soon lose all face because of you." 0

Upon hearing his words, everyone fell silent. They exchanged glances but dared not look up at Lord Lo An seated at the head of the table. 0

Lord Lo An continued, "Steward, go back to Piaoyun Pavilion and invite Little Princess to this hall. Tell her I have matters to discuss with her." 0

When the steward heard Lord Lo An call for him, he quickly stood up. However, when he realized that his lord wanted him to go to Piaoyun Pavilion for an invitation, he was taken aback. His heart raced with fear; he truly did not want to go but could find no excuse not to. Reluctantly steeling himself, he turned around and headed toward Piaoyun Pavilion to find Luo Bingbing. 0

The steward slowly approached the entrance of Piaoyun Pavilion. Cautiously walking up to its grand doors, he felt anxious and was about to retreat when he remembered Lord Lo An's potential punishment. Thus, he turned back and stood before the doors again. Encouraging himself silently, he raised his hand and knocked on the door of Piaoyun Pavilion. 0

Hearing the knock on the door, the Nursemaid hurried to open it. To her surprise, it was the steward of the manor. She quickly invited him in, but the steward, visibly anxious, refused to enter and insisted on standing at the door to relay Lord Lo An's message to the Nursemaid. He urged her to bring the Little Princess to the hall immediately while he waited outside the Piaoyun Pavilion. 0

After listening to the steward's words, the Nursemaid rushed to the study to report to Luo Bingbing. 0

"Princess, the steward is outside asking for an audience. He says that the prince has returned and specifically wants you to come to the hall. He has something to say to you. What do you think we should do...?" 0

Luo Bingbing slowly lifted her gaze towards the Nursemaid and abruptly interrupted her, "Nursemaid, do you think I should go see him?" 0

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Princess, have you finally come to your senses? You realize you need to seize this opportunity for the prince to accept you!" The Nursemaid exclaimed excitedly. 0

A slight smirk appeared on Luo Bingbing's lips as she coldly replied, "Him? He's not worthy of my attention." After a pause, she continued, "I only asked if you wanted to meet him. If you want to go, I will go; if not, then I won't. Do you understand?" 0

"Ah!" The Nursemaid couldn't help but exclaim in surprise. 0

After her outburst, the Nursemaid quickly added, "Let's go! I want to go, Princess! We should head to the hall!" 0

Upon hearing this, Luo Bingbing nodded slightly and said, "Alright! Let's go then!" 0

Just as the Nursemaid was about to turn and inform the steward waiting at the door, Luo Bingbing called out to her. 0

"Nursemaid, wait a moment! I haven't finished speaking yet! Why are you in such a hurry?" 0

The Nursemaid chuckled sheepishly and replied, "Hehe, Princess, I'm just so happy! If you have any further instructions, please tell me quickly!" 0

"Very well. Quickly find the most tattered and worn-out piece of clothing among all our garments. After we change into it, we will go meet my so-called father," Luo Bingbing said slowly. 0

"Ah!" The Nursemaid gasped again in shock. 0

Confused, she quickly asked, "Little Princess, didn't we make a lot of new clothes? Why do we need to wear something so tattered and worn when meeting the prince?" 0

Luo Bingbing looked at her and said calmly, "I have my reasons. Just do as I say without asking too many questions." 0

"Oh! Then I'll go prepare it right away." 0

Luo Bingbing lightly nodded, and the Nursemaid stepped out, while she continued to read her book with her head down. 0

When the Nursemaid informed the steward that Luo Bingbing would soon accompany him to the hall to meet the Lord, the steward was left utterly astonished, his mouth agape as if his jaw might drop to the floor! 0

He felt a mix of joy and fear. The joy came from having successfully invited the Little Princess, hoping to avoid the Lord's wrath; the fear stemmed from uncertainty about whether this Little Princess was truly a supernatural being. What if she became displeased and decided to devour him or, like last time, turn him into a wooden stake? What would he do then? 0

Despite his anxious thoughts, he stood nervously at the entrance of Piaoyun Pavilion, waiting for Luo Bingbing and the Nursemaid to emerge so they could head to the hall together to meet Lo An Lord. 0

Luo Bingbing and the Nursemaid had both changed into an old-fashioned skirt that was faded and patched, looking almost entirely worn out. The Nursemaid was taken aback when she heard her Little Princess wanted to wear such a tattered garment to meet their lord. After her initial surprise, she quickly urged her Little Princess not to wear such a shabby outfit, fearing that the lord would be displeased and not appreciate the Princess. However, she found herself unable to persuade Luo Bingbing and had no choice but to comply with her wishes, donning the ragged skirt and accompanying Luo Bingbing to meet Lo An Lord. 0

From a distance, the steward spotted two figures approaching from the main hall of Piaoyun Pavilion. But as soon as he saw a small figure leading the way, he recognized it as the Little Princess who possessed magical abilities. Fear gripped him, causing his legs to tremble and nearly losing control of himself. 0

Just as he contemplated making a run for it and turning away, he heard Luo Bingbing's sweet yet cool voice behind him. "Steward, where are you going?" 0

Upon hearing her question, the steward quickly wiped away his distressed expression and turned around with a forced smile, trying to appear amiable as he said, "Greetings, Princess! Wishing you good fortune! I merely noticed you were coming out and thought I would clear a path for you!" 0

Luo Bingbing slowly approached him without even glancing in his direction and lazily said, "Get up! Lead the way." 0

Trembling with fear, the steward raised his head and stood up. When he saw up close what Luo Bingbing and the Nursemaid were wearing, his heart raced again in shock. He realized that what the Nursemaid had been wearing earlier was not this tattered skirt full of patches but rather a beautiful and brand new one. The cunning steward immediately understood that this Little One had done this on purpose. 0
