She worried not only about Jiang Chen facing retaliation but also about being implicated herself, along with her few close friends, especially Lin Bingbing.
"I might as well go; otherwise, they’ll just chase me down for revenge later. I’m someone who dislikes trouble, so it’s better to resolve this today with a one-time solution," Jiang Chen said nonchalantly.
"How can you resolve it? Haven’t you heard? Both Xiao He and Cheng Kai have significant backgrounds. Xiao He’s father, Xiao Junyong, is an underground boss in Central China. Do you know what an underground boss does? You can’t provoke people like that," Li Ruoxi said anxiously.
"Jiang Chen, you should leave quickly. Xiao He sent me to keep an eye on you. Since you’re Bingbing’s friend, I can’t just ignore it. You won’t be able to handle Xiao He," Liu Sisi added.
"How do you know I can’t handle them?" Jiang Chen chuckled.
"Do we even need to say? We all know your family background. Do you really think that just because you’re skilled, you can walk around freely? The Xiao family can easily summon hundreds of people to deal with you. No matter how skilled you are, can one person really take on a hundred? Besides, those people might have weapons or even guns," Li Ruoxi explained. Having been in the entertainment industry for years, they had a good understanding of both the underworld and legitimate circles.
"Jiang Chen, Ruoxi is right; don’t be stubborn. We’re only advising you because of Bingbing," Liu Sisi echoed.

Lin Bingbing was unaware of Jiang Chen's background; she only knew that his strength was formidable. His power was his greatest asset. Believing in Yue Hui naturally led her to trust Jiang Chen and support all his decisions.
"Bingbing, Jiang Chen is from Nangang; could he possibly have any powerful background?" Li Ruoxi questioned.
"Jiang Chen’s background is himself," Lin Bingbing replied firmly.
Li Ruoxi and the others were taken aback and momentarily speechless. After a while, Li Ruoxi shook her head and said, "Bingbing, this is blind trust in Jiang Chen. You’re not helping him; you’re putting him in danger. This is what they call 'the bystander sees clearly while the participant is confused.'"
"Alright, enough about this matter; let’s eat. I’m starving," Lin Bingbing said helplessly, trying to change the topic. It was hard to explain things clearly to her friends; if it weren’t for Yue Hui saying she had witnessed Jiang Chen's strength firsthand, Lin Bingbing would also find it hard to believe how powerful he truly was.

"I won't blame you for this. And Sisi, to be honest, that Xiao He isn't a good person. I don't support you two being together," Lin Bingbing said seriously.
"I'll think about it some more," Liu Sisi nodded. Xiao He's domineering behavior had indeed disappointed her.
"Honestly, if it weren't for Cheng Kai's arrogance, I wouldn't mind spending time with him. It's just that he's so infuriating, acting like he has no interest in me," Li Ruoxi said indignantly.
"Ruxi, it seems that the two of us aren't as charming as Bingbing," Zhou Ailing joked.
"You two should stop bringing up that topic. Cheng Kai is just a narcissist who thinks that because he has connections and knows martial arts, he can have everything he wants. A normal woman wouldn't like someone like him," Lin Bingbing said coldly, clearly disapproving of Cheng Kai.
After finishing their meal, they returned to the hotel room to rest for a bit. In the afternoon, Jiang Chen and Lin Bingbing drove to the venue for the underground boxing match.
Li Ruoxi and the others had given up trying to persuade them since Jiang Chen and Lin Bingbing never listened anyway.

This event was organized by Central China Underground Leader Xiao Junyong, and most of the invited guests were from the Three Provinces of Central China. The underground boxing match was also a gambling event; every year, Xiao Junyong made a significant profit from hosting these matches.
Jiang Chen had made quite an impression last time in Songnan, but the big shots of the Underground World in Central China hadn't attended, so they weren't very familiar with him. As Jiang Chen and his companions entered the estate, they found it quite spacious due to its location by the mountains and water, offering beautiful scenery.
