"What kind of outcome... Heh heh..." Clarence sneered, "Someone like you, a poor and destitute Mid-Level Warrior, is not even on my radar. Once I step into Intermediate, I could crush ten softies like you with one hand. Even so, today you still can't escape being beaten down by me."
Clarence extended a hand, his gaze filled with condescension, completely disregarding Step.
"Heh... Since that's the case, let's cut to the chase. I want to see just how capable you are at beating me down." Slowly drawing out the Azure Morning Sword, Step wiped the blade with calm indifference as his Surging Energy surged rapidly, his black hair dancing like snakes.
"Then just wait and see." A cold smile spread across Clarence's face as he gripped his battle axe tightly. The energy within him surged forth, radiating brilliant golden light. With a roar like a dragon, a massive golden dragon phantom formed from the Dragon God Seal soared above him, intimidating all around.
Before they even clashed, it seemed they were already at odds. Clarence directly unleashed the Dragon God Seal, showing his intent to defeat Step with overwhelming force. The crowd surrounding the arena was filled with excitement; the atmosphere was tense and exhilarating.
"Hey... brother, who do you think will win between those two?" someone in the crowd asked while keeping their eyes glued to the two figures on stage.
"Isn't that obvious? How would I know who can win before they even start? But I think that softie Brent has a bigger chance of losing; after all, Fifth Prince's foundation is right there." Someone replied impatiently.
"Sigh, if only I had Fifth Prince's Amplification Equipment along with the Dragon God Seal's reverse battle techniques; fighting above my level would be a piece of cake." Another person lamented.
While the crowd debated among themselves, Step and Clarence had already exchanged over ten blows on stage. Neither side gave an inch; they seemed to have completely abandoned technique for brute force in their fierce confrontation. The aggressive exchanges ignited excitement among the spectators below.
As they say, insiders see the subtleties while outsiders watch for spectacle; few in the audience could discern the specifics of the battle unfolding on stage.
The more Clarence fought, the more alarmed and strained he became. He had confidently believed that by using the energy amplification from Dragon God Seal to bridge their level gap and relying on his powerful Exquisite-grade battle axe's amplified attack power to suppress Step completely, victory was within reach. However, upon engaging in combat, Step's sword strikes unleashed such force and speed along with overwhelming energy that despite wielding highly offensive dual-handed battle axes, Clarence found his hands numb and his bones vibrating painfully from each clash.

Clarence was filled with disbelief. Although he still had trump cards left, seeing his opponent's casual demeanor made it seem like he hadn't even unleashed the killing moves from Sword Technique. Yet even so, he still felt a hint of pressure.

"Swish…!" Just at that moment of passing by, one of the dark green beams grazed his arm. A piercing pain shot through him as he looked down and gasped in shock.
His arm, exposed outside of the Stone Devourer Leather Armor, began to wither and rot at an alarming speed. If this continued for even a minute, his entire arm would likely turn into mush.
"Whoosh whoosh!" To make matters worse, the two dark green beams that he had previously evaded did not dissipate; instead, they surged toward him again amidst Clarence's sinister laughter, moving as if they were truly traveling at light speed—terrifyingly fast.
"Damn it!" Bu's expression darkened as he swiftly dodged without hesitation. At the same time, his sword Cold Light flashed as he slashed down at his already corroded arm.
"Hiss." Bu Mianrong twisted in agony as a surge of rage brewed within him.
This strike severed half of his own arm's flesh; all that remained was bone and spurting blood. This was the pain of a warrior cutting off his own hand—a pain he vowed to return tenfold upon Clarence!
"The dark green beam must be the skill attached to Clarence's Wrist Guard... The Exquisite-level Amplification Equipment is indeed powerful. Judging by the strength of this dark green beam, that pair of Wrist Guards is likely among the top tier of Exceptional Equipment... This beam cannot be taken head-on, but if it continues to persist, hiding like this won't work either."
As he continuously dodged, Bu pondered his next move. With his Agility and after fully utilizing Dragon Step, he couldn't completely shake off the dark green beam, but he managed to keep it at bay. However, this meant that Bu could not afford to stop; otherwise, with the Speed of that dark green beam, he would be hit with just a moment's pause.
"Hahaha... Brent... I'm going to take you down soon. Don't you want to see my abilities? Hahaha... You're running around like a dead dog because of me; this is my power... How does it feel right now..." Clarence laughed wildly, a smug expression on his face as his Mental Power controlled the dark green beam, constantly changing its direction to pursue Bu.
Although maintaining the existence of the dark green beam consumed some of his Mental Power each second, seeing Bu in such a desperate state clearly made Clarence enjoy it.
"It's time to end this... Even though I have a precious Superior Jewelry that has amplified my Mental Power, I might not be able to hold on much longer if this drags on." Looking at Bu being forced to flee in all directions, Clarence felt regretful that he couldn't toy with his opponent any longer. Before he could think further, Clarence saw a shadow flash behind Bu in the distance. Then he noticed Bu's Sword Aura flicker as an Energy Wheel shot towards him at high speed, almost reaching him in the blink of an eye.
"Ah." Clarence was startled and reflexively swung his Giant Battle Axe down towards the Energy Wheel.
At the same time, due to Bu's brief moment of pause, two dark green beams suddenly caught up with him. The terrifying and intense corrosive waves nearly made Bu's scalp explode.
