Having evaded the scrutiny of the Steward, they could not escape the questioning of another group. Hong Lian had severely injured Gnar, a member of the Triangular Eyes, in the Thirteen Times Gravity Zone. Gnar was not one to tolerate humiliation; he had left in silence only to prepare for a frenzied retaliation. 0

Holy Light Academy did not concern itself with personal grudges among students. As long as no one was killed, even brawls within the academy would go unpunished. After all, this world upheld the principle of strength above all else. Too many regulations would only hinder students' growth; only those who persevered in battles until the end were considered elite students by the academy. 0

Gnar was a core member of his faction and had a close relationship with its founder, Golan. He possessed considerable influence, and his call for help quickly gathered many people near the Gravity Training Ground. 0

"Gnar, look at those two; they seem clueless and must be new students. We've already questioned quite a few people, but those fellows are seasoned and have their own factions, ignoring our inquiries and talking nonsense. These two fellows are perfect targets for questioning; they definitely won't dare to deceive us." 0

"Yes, indeed. I can see their strength at a glance; they are both at the Intermediate Level and clearly lack any significant background. With their Intermediate Level strength, they should be able to enter the five times gravity zone. I have encountered that Red-Haired Man before." 0

At the entrance of the Gravity Training Ground hall, a crowd had gathered. Each person wore a badge depicting a woman with a holy expression, her hands clasped around her chest in prayer. Those wearing this badge were all members of the faction. 0

In the midst of the crowd, Gnar from Triangular Eyes listened darkly to his companions. After hearing their words, Gnar's gaze turned cold as he looked at the two approaching figures and coldly ordered, "Bring those two over here. If they don't answer honestly, show them some consequences." 0

"Hehehe, bullying newcomers is my favorite thing to do." Upon hearing Gnar's command, a burly man with a brutish face grinned widely and took several steps toward the two. 0

"Hey you two, stop right there!" The arrogant voice reached them before he did. 0

Bu Mei furrowed his brow slightly and exchanged glances with Reynold before halting his steps. 0

He had already noticed this group's presence and recognized Gnar, who had been injured by Hong Lian. Given the situation, it was easy to guess their intentions. However, Bu Mei remained calm; after all, Hong Lian had altered her appearance before taking action. He wasn't worried about being recognized but knew that if he didn't stop and cooperate for a moment, it might raise suspicion. 0

"What does this senior want?" Bu Mei shrugged casually. 0

"Come here! Our boss has something to ask you." The burly man waved impatiently for them to come closer. 0

Reynold's expression grew serious as he glanced at Bu Mei and stepped forward first. 0

In the past, Reynold had no idea what friendship was, nor had he ever had a friend. Bearing the title of the top young master in Sparta City, he felt lonely at the heights he occupied, with no peers qualified to be his friends. He maintained a sense of pride and walked the path of martial arts alone. 0

It wasn't until he met Step that his pride shattered at the moment he was defeated by Step. Nevertheless, he continued to train alone in solitude. As the saying goes, "You don't know someone until you fight them." The friendship between him and Step was forged through their numerous encounters. 0

Reynold lived up to his name, valuing promises. A person who values promises must be emotional and righteous. Once he recognized Step as a friend, he would trust him with his back and bravely pave the way through danger for him. 0

Step smiled and quickened his pace to catch up with Reynold. The two walked side by side, showing no signs of fear. 0

"Hey, these two have quite good temperaments. Boss, if these two fellows are perceptive, we might consider recruiting them. Didn't Lord Golan instruct us to pay attention to any outstanding newcomers and select a group to join our hall?" A man with a short beard spoke beside Gnar. 0

"Yeah, yours is good too, but let's wait a bit longer," Gnar replied, narrowing his eyes, making it hard to discern his thoughts. 0

"Boss, I've brought them here." A burly man with a face full of flesh squeezed through the crowd with Step and Reynold, approaching Gnar with a flattering smile that seemed more like a grimace. 0

"This is our boss, Black Death Hall's Fifth Generation Silver Profound Student, known as Cobra Gana. You two are fortunate today to be summoned by our boss; that's a blessing from eight generations of ancestors," the burly man introduced Step and Reynold enthusiastically. 0

Gnar frowned slightly, seemingly unable to tolerate the burly man's smile. He waved his hand and said, "Step aside; I'll ask them." 0

Reynold's gaze flickered. Although he didn't understand what this group wanted to interrogate them about, judging from the occasional energy fluctuations emanating from them, none were weaklings. The weakest among them was at least at Intermediate Level 4; such a lineup was beyond their ability to resist. 0

"Junior Brent from Primordial Hall's Ninth Generation Iron Xuan student greets Senior Gnar," Step said with a peculiar smile on his lips as he looked at Gnar and performed a respectful gesture without being overly humble or arrogant. 0

"Mm." Gnar made a nasal sound while pursing his lips and glanced at Step. Just as he was about to speak, his eyes suddenly widened as if recalling something. After staring at Step for a moment, he finally said, "You are Brent? The one who defeated the useless Barto recently? The one who rejected Lord Golan's invitation?" 0

The smile on Step's face grew wider as he blinked and replied, "I believe that's me you’re referring to." 0

Gnar's triangular eyes gradually narrowed, glinting with a hint of danger as he stared at Bu Leng with a smile. "You're quite bold, refusing Lord Golan's personal invitation without knowing your place. Now, you still dare to appear before me and my fellow members. Do you think that with your limited strength, we can't do anything to you?" 0

"Heh," Bu Qing chuckled and shook his head. "Senior Gnar, I believe you have the strength to make me regret my actions, but as a junior, I consider myself polite and have not offended anyone. Refusing Lord Golan's invitation was merely my personal choice. If you want to make an issue out of this and teach me a lesson..." 0

If this gets out, it won't matter much for the senior, but Lord Golan's reputation would be completely tarnished. How could someone of Lord Golan's stature, one of the Top Ten Silver Stars, stoop to argue with someone like me? 0

"How dare you speak to our boss like that? You must be looking for trouble," one of the burly men shouted as he stepped forward, energy surging within him as if he were about to strike. 0

"Marl!" Gnar's gaze turned cold as he sternly commanded, stopping the burly man in his tracks. 0

"Boss, these two are being too arrogant, even daring to use Lord Golan to threaten us." 0

"Stand down!" Gnar shouted angrily, his face already showing signs of fierce rage. 0

The man named Marl hesitated, his expression awkward as he stepped back. 0

The surrounding members of the group looked at Bu and his companion with evident hostility. If it weren't for Gnar being present, they would have likely rushed in to fight. 0

"I won't interfere in matters concerning Lord Golan. The reason I called you here today is to ask you something. I hope both of you will answer truthfully; otherwise, don't blame me for being heavy-handed as your senior." Gnar's face was as serious as water, his eyes narrowing with an intimidating presence that spread from him as an Intermediate Level 5 powerhouse, making it hard for others to breathe. 0

Bu Xin chuckled inwardly but gradually became serious and nodded. "Senior Gnar, please go ahead. As a junior, I will certainly speak without reservation." 0

"Good." Satisfied with Bu's understanding, Gnar slightly nodded and turned his gaze toward Marl, pointing at Reynold. "Take him aside for questioning." 0

"Got it," Marl grinned and called out to Reynold, "Let's go." 0

Reynold silently followed, glancing back at Bu with a calm expression. 0

"I will personally ask you, and later compare it with what that person said. If I find any discrepancies in your words, or if they are not entirely truthful..." 0

"Go ahead and ask," Bu interrupted Gnar directly, his demeanor composed. 0

Gnar smirked coldly, his gaze fixed on Bu, especially lingering on the warrior's outfit that was almost stained red with blood. He quietly asked, "How long have you been in this Gravity Training Ground? Have you been in that gravity zone the whole time?" 0

"Today is the third day. I went to the Sixfold Gravity Zone to train for half a day, while my companion stayed in the fivefold gravity zone." 0

"Sixfold Gravity Zone? You stayed there for half a day?" Gnar's eyes narrowed as he scrutinized Bu for a moment. After observing the bloodstains on his clothes, he nodded slowly, a hint of approval gradually appearing in his gaze. He continued to inquire, "Have you seen a Red-Haired Man? This person is extremely powerful and has an unknown identity." 0

Upon finishing this question, Gnar's gaze suddenly became sharp, his aura exploding and enveloping Bu. Under such pressure, anyone with a weak mind would undoubtedly lack the courage to deceive with lies. 0

"I have seen him; my companion has not," Bu replied without blinking, his face steady and heart calm. 0

"So, you encountered him in the Sixfold Gravity Zone?" Gnar's eyes narrowed again as he seemed to contemplate the truthfulness of Bu's words. 0

"At that time, I only felt a gust of wind pass by. When I looked up, I only saw the back of a Red-Haired Man. His speed was incredibly fast; he disappeared almost in an instant. His strength is terrifying," Bu recalled, a hint of awe in his tone. 0
