Wendy's expression grew frantic, her beautiful eyes filled with concern. Amy, who was tied up beside her, shared the same sentiment. The Veiled Woman paused suddenly at this point and looked down at her ferret in surprise. She noticed that the Weasel was trembling uncontrollably and making whimpering sounds of fear as if something terrifying was lurking nearby. If it weren't for being held by her, it would likely have fled in panic.
"What’s going on?" The Veiled Woman was startled and stood up abruptly, turning to look at the cave entrance with her brown curls flowing like blooming mountain flowers.
At that moment she turned around, she saw an eerie man with wild red hair suddenly appear through the mist. His cold gaze felt like ancient ice; in an instant, before Kathy and the others could react, he had already stepped into the cave and triggered hidden traps concealed within its corners.
"Brent!" At this moment, Kathy recognized the appearance of the newcomer and was suddenly taken aback. However, when she saw him step into the formation, she was overjoyed and laughed, "What a coincidence! Since you’ve come to seek death, I’ll grant your wish."
"Everyone, attack together! Take advantage of the fact that he is trapped in the formation and eliminate him!" Before the words were even finished, Barto charged forward, grinning as he unleashed his longsword, the Greedy Wolf Sword Technique and Blazing Wolf Smoke erupting with a piercing shriek.
Kathy and the beautiful woman were not to be outdone; they unleashed their attacks simultaneously, aiming to take down Hong Lian on the spot.

Her frantic struggles dug deep into her skin with the ropes leaving bloody marks that she ignored; it seemed that these pains could not compare to her heartache at this moment. In that instant, she had become numb to pain—numb to the point of suffocation.
The two women's struggles did not escape the Veiled Woman's notice. In this situation, as a fellow woman, her heart was also touched. With a soft sigh, she raised her delicate hand and removed the cloth that had been blocking their mouths. As soon as it was taken off, Wendy and her companion let out heartbreaking cries.
However, before their cries could last even a breath, their voices abruptly stopped. Through the gradually thinning dust, they saw a figure that stirred their souls—still standing tall and proud with a cold and ruthless expression that enveloped them. The sudden surge of aura made their hearts race wildly as they wept tears of joy.

Hong Lian's expression was cold, her red hair flowing without wind, and an endless aura of malice erupted from her body. The temperature in the entire cave seemed to drop suddenly, with a chilling feeling permeating the air.

These chains, formed from energy, shot out from several hidden array plates in the corners of the cave, transforming into several thick gray chains that wrapped around her like living creatures, tightening more and more.
