Bu Chuo has just arrived in the Dysia Kingdom and is still unfamiliar with the place, let alone someone like Eve. Under her various disguises and deceptions, he has no idea that he has been tricked. In fact, because of his earlier actions that caused harm, Bu Xin is starting to feel a sense of shame and awkwardness.
Humans are strange creatures; once they feel guilty, their judgment begins to decline, and their rationality becomes clouded. Thus, when Eve proposed protecting her safe return to her family, Bu Xin nodded in agreement without much thought.

"What about your previous companions? What kind of people were they? How strong are they?" As they walked along the path leading to the dense forest, Bu Xin observed the woman beside him and was surprised to find that she possessed Intermediate Level strength.
"Those companions were dressed as Mercenaries. I secretly left my family because I wanted to see the outside world. I didn't expect that after entering this Black Abyss Ravine, I would be targeted by those people. If it weren't for my cleverness in escaping into this strange forest and using the mist as cover to shake them off, I might have faced disaster," Eve replied, her lips curling up as she spoke. Her canines were hidden somehow; it was unclear how she concealed them. She frowned slightly and continued, "As for their strength, I didn't observe closely while escaping in haste, but one of them seemed to be around Intermediate Level 5."
"You managed to escape from a strong opponent at Intermediate Level 5?" Bu Xin's eyes flickered as he discreetly glanced at Eve, feeling somewhat skeptical.
Eve snorted dismissively and said, "Don't underestimate me. Although I can't defeat them directly, I have a precious item from my family for protection. They won't easily capture me. But you are shameless; before I even had a chance to use my precious item for protection, you shot me."
Bu Xin coughed lightly and scratched his nose before glancing back at Hong Lian, who had been silently following them. He then asked, "What is that precious item? Let me see it."
"What do you want it for?" Eve's expression changed as she became wary but found it somewhat amusing inside. "This fool is completely under my spell. If I can bring this fellow on board too, then perhaps I can also get a share from Byron and his group."
"Quickly show it to me! If your precious item is indeed impressive, maybe I can help you deal with those fellows," Bu Xin boasted without shame, lying and bragging without batting an eye.
He realized that this woman beside him was quite cunning; what she produced was likely three parts truth and seven parts falsehood—untrustworthy. Since she preferred to keep things hidden, he decided to play along and see what schemes she was plotting. With Hong Lian backing him up, he felt unafraid in this vast Black Abyss Ravine.
Eve was not an inexperienced girl who would believe such words. She lightly laughed and said disdainfully, "Do you really think I'm a fool? However, if you want the treasure, it's not impossible. You don't seem too foolish, so let me be honest with you. If you can help me with a task, once it's done, I will gladly hand over that treasure."
"Hey, how am I supposed to know if what you have is really a treasure if you won't even show it to me?" Bu rolled his eyes, unimpressed by Eve's empty promises.
"With your strength, do you think I would dare to deceive you? If you're not satisfied afterward, feel free to choose anything from my Storage Bracelet. Or if you're pleased with me, you can choose someone directly," Eve said, her eyes sparkling, causing Bu to momentarily falter.
"Cough. Let's first discuss what this task is. I won't participate in anything that has no benefits for me," Bu shifted the topic. He increasingly felt that this woman was hiding many things and had already formed other suspicions in his mind, though he chose not to confront her about it.
He still had to stay in the Black Abyss Ravine for over twenty days, and he currently lacked the ability to explore the secrets of the Crimson Prairie. If this woman's matter piqued his interest, spending time with her wouldn't be a bad idea.
Eve found Bu's sudden shyness amusing and giggled before speaking slowly, "Actually, this all started because I stumbled upon some people's secret dealings and overheard their private conversations. That's why that group of Fellows is after me. Do you know what's on Yin Mountain in this Black Abyss Ravine?"
"What is it?" Bu's eyes flickered as his suspicions grew clearer, but he feigned hesitation and said, "Isn't it just a bunch of magical beasts? Could there be any hidden treasures?"
Eve pressed her lips together and smiled without answering.
"Is there really a treasure?" Bu glanced at Eve with brightening eyes.
"I'm not sure if there's truly a treasure, but I overheard them mention that at the top of Yin Mountain, in the cave of the Two-Headed Lizard colony, a White Bone Ghost Lotus has been born." Eve slowly shook her head while quietly observing Bu's expression. However, her secret observation was futile since Bu had no idea what a White Bone Ghost Lotus was.
"Oh, so that's how it is. Alright then, I'll accompany you," Bu said calmly. This calmness added an air of mystery in Eve's eyes.
Eve never considered that Bu actually didn't know what a White Bone Ghost Lotus was; he was merely pretending not to ask about its uses to avoid being put in a passive position. In hindsight, this approach was quite wise; keeping others guessing about your thoughts would make them wary.
"To obtain this White Bone Ghost Lotus, we can only rely on cunning tactics and must not act recklessly. Although your strength is decent, if I'm not mistaken, even with that secret technique that allows you to sprout wings, you can only match up against a peak Intermediate Level 4 warrior at most."
"However, your brother behind you has quite peculiar strength. Even so, facing six Intermediate Level 4 warriors and one Intermediate Level 5 warrior with our current strength would undoubtedly lead to defeat in direct combat."
Eve's expression gradually became serious. She was well aware of Bu's and Hong Lian's abilities; she had witnessed Hong Lian enduring countless Sharp Grass attacks in Crimson Prairie. Such strength could rival Byron's; yet even so, she still wouldn't choose to act recklessly. The enemies hidden in the shadows were always the most terrifying ones.
"You are not unaware of their true strength, are you? It seems you have concealed many things from me before, Eve!" Bu Leng said with a half-smile, his gaze gradually turning cold. As he paused, Hong Lian approached from behind, her aura firmly locking onto Eve, whose expression suddenly changed.
"There’s no need to argue anymore. I hadn’t suspected your identity until now. If you had continued to maintain your disguise and hadn’t confessed this matter to me, perhaps it would have been different. But you were too eager, or maybe you underestimated me and thought I was a fool." Bu Leng slowly took out the Taiyuan Spear while watching Eve, who was about to defend herself, yet he did not act immediately.
Seeing the situation unfold, Eve's expression fluctuated between uncertainty and calmness. In the end, she covered her mouth and laughed lightly. "You really are sharp. I am indeed Eve. Your quick reaction surprised me; it seems my disguise skills still need improvement. But since you've seen through it, why aren't you making a move?"
"Hehe, I understand your meaning. How about this: as long as you help me, after we succeed, you'll get sixty percent of the White Bone Ghost Lotus while I take forty percent. Additionally, I can give you that precious item in advance to show my sincerity. What do you think?" Eve said with a flirtatious smile as she took out a bowl-like object from her Storage Bracelet.
Bu Leng glanced at the bowl and sneered, "This alone isn’t enough to buy your life or shake my principles."
"Principles? Nonsense!" Eve suddenly snapped back at him, a hint of anger appearing on her face that also carried a touch of reproach. "On Crimson Prairie, I did scheme against you a bit, but in the end, didn’t you escape? My main target was Rondo; I deceived him into saving you and then used Crimson Prairie to kill him.
