They entered the city without any trouble, following a street that was noticeably busier than usual. The four of them chose a secluded inn that still had vacant rooms and entered their room.
"Uncle Fu, thank you for taking care of me along the way. Here is the other half of the agreed payment; please accept it." Bu Shuang said straightforwardly as soon as they entered the room. He took out ten pieces of Fifth-Grade Azure Jade from his Storage Bracelet and placed them on the table with a smile.
Fu Dafu's eyes brightened as he looked at the ten pieces of shimmering Fifth-Grade Azure Jade on the table. He couldn't help but rub his hands together, his smile growing wider.
He loved wealth, and anything related to money piqued his interest. Although, given his current wealth, the tens of billions in Silver Kall were just a drop in the bucket, he would still be meticulous about making a profit. Fu Dafu suppressed the pain in his heart and forced a smile that looked worse than crying. He almost reluctantly took out ten pieces of Fifth-Grade Azure Jade from his large Storage Ring and placed them on the table, pushing them toward Bu Shuang.
"Uncle Fu, what are you doing?" Bu Shuang was taken aback as he looked at Fu Dafu's almost tearful smile, unsure of how to respond.
"Take it back! Ever since I first saw you, I felt a sense of kinship as if we were family. Since we are relatives, why talk about rewards? Isn’t that just mundane? Don’t you feel that way? When you saw your Brother Bu for the first time, didn’t you feel an immediate connection and fondness?"
Fu Dafu's face twitched as he thought about giving away money he had just received; it felt like his heart was bleeding. He decided not to look at the twenty pieces of Fifth-Grade Azure Jade on the table anymore and instead turned his gaze toward his Precious Daughter with a look that conveyed some sort of message.
"Uh..." Bu Shuang suddenly felt something was off as he noticed Fudie’s face turning red all of a sudden. She was nervously tugging at her clothes while glancing shyly at him. Her body trembled slightly with every movement, and those glances filled with peculiar light were all too familiar and quite impactful.
"No way!" Bu Xin wailed internally as he heard something that nearly made him want to turn around and run.
“Father... Brother Bu is so outstanding; even if I have feelings for him...” Fudie stammered through her words but ultimately couldn’t finish her sentence. Her hesitant demeanor gave off an air of grace reminiscent of an elegant young lady if one overlooked her ample figure and multiple chins.
"Don't worry, Butterfly, you can rest assured. You are pure-hearted and kind, and as the daughter of a Wealthy Family, you hold a noble lineage. You are also proficient in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. At just eighteen years old, you possess Quasi-Mid-Level strength. No matter where you go, you are a prized catch. Even if Brother Bu has high standards, he cannot possibly overlook such an outstanding woman like you, right, Nephew?"
Fu Dafu seemed like a vendor boasting about his wares, promoting his daughter as something rare and unparalleled. In the end, he patted Bu's shoulder vigorously, causing the flesh on his face to jiggle three times as he looked at him with hopeful eyes.
"Sir, this is really..." The Eagle-Eyed Elder, with his graying hair, smiled wryly as he watched Bu become flustered by the sudden pressure from this father-daughter duo. He glanced at his sister and sighed inwardly. "Such an excellent woman would not be overlooked by anyone who isn't blind. With her figure, just standing in front of someone would block all other sights; who could possibly ignore her?"
At this moment, Fudie felt a surge of confidence from her father's barrage of compliments. Although still shy, she lifted her head and gazed at Bu with affectionate eyes, waiting for his response.
"Come on now, this isn't fair," Bu felt a bit overwhelmed. Being pressured by this Wealthy Family felt even more terrifying than battling a High-Level Giant.
"Ahem, Uncle Fu..."
"Hey, don't call me Uncle Fu; that feels too distant. Ever since I saw Nephew for the first time, I felt like I was seeing family. Since we are family now, just call me 'Uncle'." Before Bu could finish his sentence, Fu Dafu waved his hand to interrupt him with an annoyed expression.

"Just call me Butterfly." This time it wasn't Fu Dafu who spoke but rather Fudie herself, who suddenly found the courage to say it sweetly.
Bu felt dizzy; he was on the verge of collapsing.
He regretted getting onto this Wealthy Family's carriage; now he felt trapped. Facing this extraordinary father-daughter pair made him feel like he was about to sell himself into servitude.

Here, for this first meeting, I would like to give you a gift as a token of goodwill from an elder."
Fu Dafu was clear in his mind about how precious his daughter was. Seeing that Bu was somewhat resistant, he quickly changed the subject to avoid revealing too much, ensuring there would still be room for maneuver in the future. At least for now, the other party had not outright refused, which was a good start.

Bu Chuo wanted to politely decline at first but instinctively glanced over the items on the table and nearly choked on his own breath.
