A water vortex appears in his palm. Amidst the sound of rushing water, as soon as the vortex forms, it draws in all surrounding energy like a dragon drinking water, creating a storm at its center where Reynold’s blade is partially revealed.
Bu effortlessly meets Reynold’s ferocious strike with this technique. Startled, Reynold feels his blade tremble violently within the energy storm created by Bu’s water vortex; it can advance no further. If he does not withdraw his weapon soon, he risks being swept away by this strange move.
"I must force him to use his right hand!" In this critical moment, instead of retracting his blade, Reynold grips it tightly despite its violent vibrations and ear-piercing metallic sounds. His goal is to immobilize one of Bu’s arms and compel him to use his right hand to counter Gordon’s strike.
"What an opportunity!" Kalandor’s eyes light up as he suddenly unleashes his Speed ability and rushes past Bu toward Wendy behind him.
In Stealth, both Ivan and Locke recognized the rare opportunity and quickly approached Wendy.
"Hmm?" Bu shook his head, pulling downwards with a sudden force that left Reynold unable to resist. His facial veins bulged, and his face turned red, but he could not stop Bu's downward pull of Speed.
Clang!
Sparks flew as two blades clashed. Gordon arrived with a strike, but Bu effortlessly redirected Reynold's blade to block it. The massive, gear-like blade spun and created a shower of sparks, yet no matter how sharp it was, it could not budge Bu Ban even slightly.
The series of dazzling movements between both sides seemed slow but occurred at lightning speed. In the blink of an eye, the crisis was easily resolved by Bu. To the onlookers, it appeared as if Reynold and Gordon were attacking in perfect unison, with hardly any gap between their strikes.
Unless one could strike with a Speed far superior to theirs, receiving one blow would make it nearly impossible to withstand another.
Yet Bu managed to do just that. In that fleeting moment, he extended his left hand, forming a vortex in his palm that turned into a storm, catching Reynold's blade and deflecting it downward while simultaneously intercepting Gordon's strike. The burst of Speed was so rapid that those without keen eyesight could only see a series of blurred afterimages, unable to discern the specifics of the confrontation.
"Haha, you're going to lose," came the ecstatic voice of Kalandor from behind. Upon looking back, Reynold wore a similar expression of joy.
Wendy stood ten paces behind Bu. At this moment, Kalandor, having crossed three paces already, needed only one more step to reach her side. They believed that Bu would never catch up in time to stop him because that step was already taken as soon as Kalandor finished speaking.

The soft sound of footsteps landing resonated in the hearts of everyone present; it felt as if that footstep landed on their very souls. Only Bu maintained his smile.
"What’s going on? Why did he stop?" Amy exclaimed with wide eyes, puzzled.
Not just her; both Ivan and Locke, who were also watching Kalandor, were equally confused. Reynold, nearly driven mad by this foolery from Kalandor, wondered why he was just standing there in a stance as if posing for everyone.
"Come back." At that moment, Bu spoke with an enigmatic smile, raising his left arm and beckoning towards the stationary figure of Kalandor. The control effect of Water God Induction erupted fully. Startled, Reynold seized the chance to retreat sharply with his blade drawn. However, what unfolded next nearly made his eyes pop out.
As Bu spoke, Kalandor, who had been standing still, bizarrely began to step backward several paces until he stopped beside Bu. His movements resembled those of a puppet being manipulated.
"What kind of Demonic Arts is this?" Gordon gasped in shock, his face paling slightly as he retreated to stand beside Reynold, gripping his sword tightly.
"Haha, I made it!" Just as everyone was on high alert, Kalandor suddenly burst into wild laughter and casually placed a hand on Bu's shoulder while turning around. Upon seeing this, he froze in surprise.
Behind him stood Wendy, playfully sticking out her tongue at him with a cheeky smile that revealed her bright white teeth.
Shaking his head in confusion, Kalandor glanced sideways at Bu's ordinary face smiling back at him. He blinked in disbelief and let out a strange cry before sprinting several paces away to stop beside Reynold.
"What’s going on? This isn’t right! You cheated! You’re being unreasonable!" At this moment, Kalandor seemed to finally come to his senses, frantically pointing at Bu with a face full of indignation and confusion.
"He’s not being unreasonable; you were the one who stepped back just now," Reynold said gravely, looking at the ever-smiling Bu. Suddenly, he felt a bit uncertain.
Earlier, when the opponent single-handedly faced all of them while protecting Wendy from getting close, Reynold hadn’t gotten angry but was instead stirred up by the opponent's boastful words.
However, it now appeared that the opponent wasn’t just boasting; they truly had that capability. Even though their group hadn’t given their all, seeing the opponent’s relaxed demeanor made it clear that they still had plenty of strength left.
The strange Demonic Arts from earlier didn’t even require the opponent to cast a spell, and Kalandor was inexplicably controlled without realizing it. How many more bizarre Demonic Arts did the opponent have yet to unleash? Reynold felt a chill running down his spine.
