Chapter 126: Fighting in the Street
Just as Zhang Qiu was feeling awkward, Yang Yu handed Boss a Hundred Yuan Bill and smiled, "As the Second Brother, I should contribute to this meal. It's only fair that the older brother pays more while the Second Brother pays less."
After Yang Yu finished speaking, he winked at Zhang Qiu. Zhang Qiu smiled knowingly and counted out one hundred sixty yuan to give to Boss.
After settling the bill, Zhang Qiu and his group walked out of the shop. Yang Yu looked around and then pointed at four thugs swaying by the roadside, saying, "Those guys over there."
"Go!" Zhang Qiu waved his hand and ran towards the thugs first. Yang Yu, not wanting to be outdone, followed closely behind, with Gao Zhi and the others also rushing towards the four thugs.
As they got closer, Zhang Qiu heard the thugs bragging. The red-haired thug was boasting about hooking up with a girl the night before, while another thug was fawning over him. None of them realized that danger was approaching from behind.
Using his momentum from running, Zhang Qiu kicked the red-haired thug in the back. The thug flew forward like a kite with its string cut, landing face-first on the ground. Once Zhang Qiu landed steadily, Yang Yu and the others caught up. Gao Zhi was still holding a Beer Bottle he had taken from the shop and smashed it over one thug's head.
With a loud crash, the bottle shattered, and blood oozed from the thug's head as he stared wide-eyed in terror at Gao Zhi.
The thugs were caught off guard; by the time they reacted, they were all injured. The fight broke out in the street, with pedestrians keeping their distance—some hurried past while others stopped to watch. While street arguments were common, street fights were a rare sight.
The red-haired thug rubbed his injured arm and glared fiercely at Zhang Qiu. "Damn it! You guys are really something. I didn’t deal with you in the shop, but you come looking for trouble now? Don’t blame me for being ruthless."
"Go to hell! Look at you; you're just asking for it."
This remark infuriated the red-haired thug. He waved his hand, and all four thugs shouted as they charged at Zhang Qiu. Just as Yang Yu and the others were about to step in, Zhang Qiu stopped them: "Let me handle this."
Zhang Qiu steadied himself and focused intently on the red-haired thug's feet. The thug's movements were erratic; it was clear he had street-fighting experience. Such people could be fierce but would struggle against someone skilled. Unfortunately for him, he had encountered Zhang Qiu, who had trained in martial arts since childhood.
When the red-haired thug was just two steps away from him, Zhang Qiu suddenly lunged forward and instantly appeared on the thug's left side, throwing a punch that connected with his chin. With a loud crack, the red-haired thug screamed and fell sideways. Zhang Qiu knew that punch had done serious damage.
The red-haired thug covered his chin with both hands, grimacing in pain while Zhang Qiu looked at him disdainfully. Before the other three thugs could reach Zhang Qiu, they were swiftly dealt with by Yang Yu and the others. All three thugs ended up on the ground, curled up and clutching their heads, covered in dirt as they rolled around helplessly.
Zhang Qiu helplessly said, "Let me handle this, and you all are still trying to take over."
"Brother Qiu, we should at least have some fun too, right?" Yang Yu said with a smile while moving his wrists.
Zhang Qiu pointed at the only red-haired person still standing and coldly said, "Apologize."
The muscles on the red-haired person's face twitched as he watched Zhang Qiu step closer, instinctively backing away. Zhang Qiu walked steadily, staring at the red-haired man, and repeated, "Apologize!"
"Hey, did you not hear what Brother Qiu said?" Gao Zhi raised an eyebrow and shouted with his distinctive loud voice.
"You've run out of chances!" Qiu Wan moved and threw a punch directly at the red-haired man's face. The red-haired man was so scared that he stumbled back and fell to the ground, unexpectedly dodging Zhang Qiu's punch.
Zhang Qiu stopped and looked at the red-haired man, who was frantically waving his hands in front of him while retreating. "Stop hitting me! I apologize, I apologize."
Zhang Qiu signaled with his eyes for the red-haired man to start. The red-haired man looked fearfully at Zhang Qiu and the approaching Yang Yu and others, hurriedly saying, "Brothers, this time..."
Yang Yu kicked him without hesitation: "Hey, who are you calling brothers? Call me boss!"

Red Hair nodded eagerly; this person was even more terrifying than his boss. Red Hair had completely lost his previous arrogance; after being kicked by Yang Yu, he remained silent. A few of his subordinates had already gotten up from the ground and gathered around him.
Both parties stood facing each other, resembling figures from a 1960s propaganda poster. Zhang Qiu and the others were tall and handsome, looking righteous as they stared ahead, while Red Hair and his gang shrank back, their gazes furtive like that of mice.
Red Hair led his group in a hasty retreat. As they got further away, he suddenly turned back and shouted, "The green mountains remain unchanged, the waters flow long; don't celebrate too early, we'll meet again." With that parting shot, Red Hair quickly jumped onto an approaching bus.
"Damn, he still tried to act tough on the way out; what a line," Yang Yu laughed at Red Hair's disheveled appearance.
"Must have watched too many martial arts films," Zhang Qiu chuckled happily. Through this encounter, Zhang Qiu finally understood what it meant to feel exhilarated.
"With that kind of fighting style, how can he call himself a hero? In my opinion, Brother Qiu is the true hero here. His moves were so graceful; he took them down in just a few hits," Wang Zhengxiang praised with a smile.
Zhang Qiu smiled lightly. Seeing that it was still early, he said to everyone, "Let's change places and have a drink. We can also take a break before heading to the West Station tonight to meet with the Stone Dagger Gang."
"Brother Qiu, where are we going?"
"To the place Gao Zhi wants to go."

Wang Zhengxiang immediately understood what Gao Zhi meant and quickly shook his head, saying, "Not me, I'm still a kid."
