In a hotel suite in Beilan County Town, a thin man with two strands of mustache stood by the floor-to-ceiling window. The moonlight flickered through the clouds, casting a pale glow. The man held a cigarette in his mouth, a faint smile lingering at the corner of his lips. Soon, he would become the new ruler of Beilan County.
As for the fierce battle occurring within Beilan County tonight, Lin Tao did not take it to heart. If things escalated, he could always find someone to take the blame; as long as he was willing to pay, many would be willing to step up. When his phone rang, Lin Tao quickly walked over to the sofa and picked up the ringing phone on the tea table. A glance was enough to make him smile as he answered, waiting for his subordinates to report victory. However, just seconds later, his face turned from joy to a deep shade of anger.
"Withdraw! Everyone withdraw! Shut down all operations and let all the Brothers who showed up tonight hide!"
Lin Tao roared in anger, throwing his phone to the ground, shattering the screen and sending glass shards flying. He stood up slightly unsteady and walked back to the floor-to-ceiling window, his mood drastically different from just moments ago. Looking at Beilan County Town under the night sky, Lin Tao felt a sense of unwillingness. Wasn't this night what he had been waiting for? With Meng Tuanjie dead and the Second Brother Scorpion and Third Brother fighting for power within the Stone Dagger Gang, the entire organization was like a pile of loose sand. Coincidentally, it was the first night after the college entrance exams ended, and with police surveillance just lifted, who would have expected him to choose tonight to attack? Fortunately, the Public Security Bureau arrived in time to quell this severe brawl.
While waiting for her statement in the hallway with Taolengman and Tao Ya, Zhang Qiu greeted passing officers with smiles. He responded cheerfully but found it strange; this wasn’t his first time here yet he had never seen anyone so friendly towards him before.
When Taolengman and Tao Ya finished their statements and came out, they noticed officers greeting Zhang Qiu. Taolengman jumped in front of Zhang Qiu and asked, "Boss, what's going on? Why are those cops all greeting you?"
"I don't know."
"No way! In the police car, I heard that person say you were staying with some female officer!"
"Ah! You really reminded me." After Taolengman's comment, Zhang Qiu suddenly realized that perhaps the reason officers greeted him was because he had helped them solve a case?

All police forces from the county and its subordinate precincts were mobilized to conduct raids on major entertainment venues in Beilan County. Wherever there were fights or disturbances, they were all controlled and taken back to the police station. As a result, the precincts and police headquarters were nearly overcrowded.
During the operation, some of those involved in the fights took advantage of the chaos to escape. He Jun ordered continued searches and vowed not to let any wrongdoers slip away. "Yes."
