"Pour me a glass of water."
Zhang Qiu did not respond, instead leisurely leaning back on the sofa and smiling at Rui Rui.
"Hey!" Rui Rui rolled her eyes at Zhang Qiu. "Brother Qiu, stop keeping us in suspense, just do it."
Rui Rui sighed and poured a glass of water for Zhang Qiu. Zhang Qiu took a sip and said, "What I fear most is hearing that someone wants to become the leader. The place is not large, only two stories high, appearing somewhat shorter compared to the surrounding three or four-story buildings, but its exterior decoration is undoubtedly the best on the entire street. Two bright red cicadas emit an enchanting glow at night, attracting passersby.
When Zhang Qiu entered, the attendant by the door welcomed him. Zhang Qiu looked around the lobby, which was less than half the size of White Day Fire. At the front desk, a group of students was booking a private room. Zhang Qiu walked over and stood behind them when one person turned around and exclaimed, “Brother Qiu!”
“Ma Yuan!” Zhang Qiu immediately recognized the student in front of him. During the Ancient City Battle, Ma Yuan had fought bravely but was injured on his head and came to school wrapped in bandages; Zhang Qiu had personally met with him.

“Smoothly, but managing it isn’t as easy. I took a quick look; the overall quality of personnel at this KV is not on par with White Day Fire. Next, I plan to reorganize things so that Fire Cicada can become one of the top KVs in Beilan County, just like White Day Fire.”

"You’re here!" Jiang Xue exclaimed over the phone. "Wait for me, I'll be right down."
Jiang Xue's voice could be heard giving instructions on the phone, and soon she came running down from the second floor, followed by Taolengman. The Receptionist smiled brightly as Jiang Xue descended the stairs and greeted her, "Hello, Sister Xue."
"Yes, hello," Jiang Xue replied briefly before throwing herself into Zhang Qiu's arms.
Zhang Qiu enjoyed Jiang Xue snuggling against him and said with a smile, "Did you miss me since we last met?"
"Of course I did." Jiang Xue looked up at him, her adorable dimples showing as she smiled. "You came here because you missed me, right?"
"I missed you so much." Zhang Qiu gently kissed her forehead while holding her.
The Receptionist stood nearby, nearly dropping her jaw in shock at how intimate this guy was with Sister Xue. She knew exactly who Jiang Xue was. In just one night, the biggest gang in Beilan County had vanished, and a new group called Hall Society had taken over their territory. Jiang Xue was the woman of the gang leader. But this guy in front of her was handsome yet didn’t look like a leader at all. Could it be that Sister Xue was secretly keeping a pretty boy? This thought seemed plausible to the Receptionist.
While she was still pondering, Jiang Xue walked over and said, "Refund the money for this private room's guests; it's on the house."
"Yes, yes." The Receptionist hurriedly agreed and went to take care of it.
"Brother Qiu, I'm sorry for the trouble," Ma Yuan said, holding the refunded money and feeling a bit embarrassed.
"It's fine. From now on, just mention my name when you come here. This is an exception today. I just took over this place, and people here don’t know me yet." Zhang Qiu glanced at the beautiful woman in front of him and added, "I believe once they see me, everyone will know my name."

Taolengman, who had been silently playing the role of a third wheel, was about to step forward when suddenly the Receptionist called out to her. Taolengman turned around and looked at the Receptionist, asking, "Is there something?"
"Man Jie, who is that guy?" The Receptionist asked affectionately. Everyone knew that in this place, Jiang Xue, Taolengman, and Tao Ya would be the most formidable trio, so it was time to curry favor.
"He's our boss, Zhang Qiu."
"Boss?" The Receptionist was taken aback.
"He's the president of the Hall Society and Xue Jie’s boyfriend."
"I'm going upstairs; you focus on your work," Taolengman said, ignoring the Receptionist's reaction as she hurried to catch up with Jiang Xue.
The Receptionist instinctively glanced towards the second floor, where Zhang Qiu was wrapping his arms around Jiang Xue as they entered the office. This is bad, she thought to herself. Reflecting on how she had treated Zhang Qiu earlier filled her with dread. It seemed she needed to change her habit of judging people by their appearance; if she didn't lose her job this time. In front of the boss's friend, she had left no face for herself at all. Ah, the Receptionist was so frustrated that she grabbed her own hair. What puzzled her most was how young the boss was now.
Inside the Second Floor Office, as soon as Jiang Xue entered, Tao Ya handed her a stack of documents and said, "Xue Jie, do you think what I've done is okay?"
"Don't be so formal; just call me 'sister,'" Jiang Xue replied as she took the documents from Tao Ya's hands. After glancing through them briefly, she said, "It's fine; organize it like this. The previous arrangement was a complete mess. From now on, everything needs to be standardized."
Zhang Qiu watched and smiled from the side. "Wow, looking good; there's some meaning to it now."
"Yeah," Jiang Xue replied happily at Zhang Qiu's praise. "I can't let you down."
"Come here; I owe you a hug as a reward."
"Pfft," Jiang Xue rolled her eyes at Zhang Qiu.
Zhang Qiu said, "Xue'er, I really think it was the right choice to have Taolengman and Tao Ya follow you."
"Why is that?"

Hearing this, Tao Ya blushed. Jiang Xue laughed and said, "Sister Tao Ya is too shy. You're a boy, so of course, she won't talk much with you. It's just me who loves to chat with you like this."
