Since Zi Yi could not appear, Nan Gong Yao had no choice but to order the guards to search Bai Zhan. The reason for searching instead of questioning was simple: the Bai Clan had a history of poisoning others. Her greatest fear was that Yun Tianmo would once again fall into that cycle of sorrow and slaughter. Did worrying more truly mean it would happen?
She really wanted to stop all of this, but could she truly do it?
