You Were Born a Nobleman, Chapter 20: A Bite of Spicy Pickled Chicken Feet 0

Kong Xuan lay down next to Tang Zisu, gently stroking her rosy cheeks. A sweet fragrance lingered in the air, and Tang Zisu greedily sniffed before falling into a deep sleep without realizing it. 0

Kong Xuan propped himself up slightly, his smooth long hair cascading over Tang Zisu's face. The moonlight cast dappled shadows on him, making the smile at the corner of his mouth appear somewhat eerie. However, Tang Zisu couldn't see this; she was blissfully unaware, lost in a dream as she giggled foolishly. 0

Kong Xuan's smile deepened. He pressed his fingers against Tang Zisu's face and then gently slid them down to her chin, giving it a firm pinch. Tang Zisu let out a series of murmurs before drifting off into soft snores. 0

"How foolish you are, even with a soul from the divine, you can be this silly. I would feel embarrassed to kill you." 0

"Senior Brother, one bowl of beef noodles without cilantro or scallions, add two scoops of chili." Tang Zisu kicked off the blanket with surprising agility, inadvertently kicking Kong Xuan on the chin. 0

Kong Xuan rubbed his chin vigorously, and the pressure of his fingers suddenly increased as he pressed down on Tang Zisu's throat. 0

Tang Zisu rolled over and grabbed Kong Xuan's fingers, putting them in her mouth. "Senior Brother is so considerate; buying beef noodles comes with Spicy Pickled Chicken Feet as a bonus. Hahaha!" 0

Kong Xuan froze in place; how could this woman be more proactive than a nine-tailed fox? His gaze darkened as his slender fingers slipped into her throat. 0

In her dream, Spicy Pickled Chicken Feet suddenly transformed into a giant python that was forcefully wriggling down her throat. Tang Zisu was terrified, her scalp tingling. She pushed against the snake's head with her tongue, but the snake, with its triangular eyes glaring at her, became even more aggressive. Damn it! Do you believe I won't bite you? With a snap of her little white teeth, she clamped down on those bulging triangular eyes. 0

"Ah!" Kong Xuan let out a pained grunt as he tried to pull his finger out forcefully. The little girl was biting down joyfully; her small teeth were grinding into his flesh, showing no signs of stopping until she bit through. 0

"You seek death." Kong Xuan hissed softly, using one hand to grip Tang Zisu's chin. With a sharp sound, the High Priestess's delicate chin was dislocated. In her dream, Tang Zisu felt as if she had been bitten on the tongue by a snake, the pain excruciating, causing her to cry out like a little kitten, flailing her paws. 0

Kong Xuan was caught off guard by her scratch on his face. He reached up to touch it and found sticky traces of blood. Enraged and humiliated, he pinned Tang Zisu's limbs down and then slapped her hard across the face. 0

The Peacock King was truly vicious! 0

In the dream, a giant snake opened its gaping maw, its rough and hard-scaled body tightly coiling around Tang Zisu, as if it intended to crush her insides. The bright red forked tongue hissed as it flickered across her face, bringing with it a chilling and sticky fear. 0

Tang Zisu was terrified to the point of losing control. She threw Spicy Pickled Chicken Feet into the snake's mouth: "Take it all! Chicken Feet, Beef Jerky, Orchid Bean Chips, Plum Dried Grape, all for you." The snake's eyes glowed with a cold light as its tail tightened further around her. Tang Zisu's voice became hoarse from crying: "There's more! Chocolate Wafer, Peanut Candy, Pistachio, take them all!" 0

Kong Xuan no longer applied force; he listened curiously to her cries and pleas. Suddenly, he felt that his life, which had been silent for three hundred years, had gained some amusement. 0

He released Tang Zisu's hair and gently laid her head back on the pillow. Kong Xuan noticed the Malachite necklace around her neck. 0

He yanked the necklace into his hand without caring that the silver chain left red marks on Tang Zisu's neck. Holding the Malachite against his left heart chamber, he felt it radiate silver light from his chest, as if a moon were rising in the room. Kong Xuan slowly raised the Malachite to his eyes; within the water-like blue stone was a single tear. 0

A tear—was this? The very drop before he closed his eyes three hundred years ago! 0
