The aloof expression softened slightly with a polite smile as she greeted her. “I’ve heard so much about you; please take a seat.”
“Just call me Silent. It’s an honor, East Wind President.”
Calmly nodding, she briefly glanced over East Wind Arrives' striking features before turning her attention to the teacup in her hand.
“Enough with the formalities! Come on, let’s order some food. I came here specifically for this restaurant’s signature dishes,” Huo Suixin said as he waved the menu in his hand and began placing orders with the waiter. “I’ll have a Eight Treasure Duck, Sesame Fish Balls, Dragon and Phoenix Legs, Taishan Red Scale Fish, Crispy Spring Flower Meat, Braised Prawns, Honey Glazed Jujube, Wine Fragrant Pepper Salt Pork Knuckle, and Milk Soup with Water Plantain.” He rattled off ten dishes in one breath before reluctantly pulling his gaze away from the menu. “That should do for now; we can order more later. Oh right, bring us a pot of Osmanthus Wine.”
The waiter took the menu and left while East Wind Arrives helplessly poured her a glass of water. “We can come here more often.”
"You don't understand the mindset of a foodie. It's not about finishing everything; it's about wanting to taste each dish, right, Yan Yan?"
"The East Wind President might not quite grasp a girl's psychology, Sui Xin. Just give him a few pointers."
