Five minutes later, the battered God of Light temple appeared before her, ravaged by dark forces.
The white structure was severely corroded by black mist, with half of its Roman Columns collapsed at the entrance. In the spacious square stood a ten-meter-high Light God Statue, which had also suffered significant corrosion.
Three teams of Dark Merit Soldiers patrolled in shifts, while in the distance atop a tower were a group of Dark Merit Vanguard and a Dark Merit Commander.
Dark Merit Soldiers were equivalent to level twenty-five monsters, and with the enhancements from the Dark Camp, their defense and attack stats were doubled compared to regular monsters.
Especially in this weakened Death Battlefield where the God of Light was fading, players' statuses were effectively halved. It wasn't until later when players reclaimed the God of Light temple and reoccupied most of the Death Battlefield that members of the Light Faction could eliminate this debuff.
Dark Merit Vanguard were equivalent to level thirty-five monsters. Although her level was close to thirty now, under this weakened state, she couldn't withstand even one hit from them. Moreover, under her white contract, she absolutely could not die; the death penalty was too terrifying—permanently reducing all attributes by 1%.
On the tower, there was a Dark Merit Commander, equivalent to a level forty-five Monster, and at this moment, there was no need for a fight. In the Death Battlefield map, there were three Dark Merit Commanders in total: one on the tower and two inside the temple. Before completing the Reincarnation mission, she had to face them head-on.
