Later, the organization expanded into D Zone and even S Zone, covering all areas except Area A like a web. Moreover, in recent years, the influence of the Shadow Organization has gradually begun to infiltrate the Military Department.
Three years ago, during the upheaval in the Peng Family, Sunset Red and Qin Huai were also involved. Their involvement stemmed from their connection to the Pang Family Heir at that time. The Pang Family Heir was an accomplice in Madam Qin's murder twenty years ago when Lou Yan rose to power.
The upheaval in the Peng Family was partly their revenge.
After lying low for three terrifying years, the Shadow Organization secretly gained control of one-third of the Military Department's power. A year ago, after Sunset Red's death, all authority of the Shadow Organization was passed to Qin Huai. While on a mission in Area A, he directly confronted Lou Yan seeking revenge but unfortunately failed and exposed himself. Now Lou Yan has started secretly investigating him to ensure Qin Yao's position while keeping it hidden from Qin Weihong as she hunts down Qin Huai.
Recently, Qin Huai was severely injured and nearly lost his life. After returning to E Zone and unable to endure any longer, he expedited his plan to absorb the Military Department. Thus, accompanied by Yan Yan—oh yes, you all know her as Silent—he infiltrated Jiyang Villa and obtained a list of secret forces within the Military Department. Subsequently, he used members of the Shadow Organization to eliminate everyone on that list and took control of the entire Military Department.
Previously, in an effort to win over E Zone's influence, the government had invited them into their area. The isolation walls were practically non-existent; amidst pretense and deception, they were completely unaware of the hidden strength held by their opponents. Now, the new District Chief of Area A, Peng Kai, is also one of Qin Huai's people.
Just as Qin Huai was preparing to absorb Area A, several major families there were thrown into chaos due to Master Zhu Liang and Data Chip issues. The Peng Family, Ji Family, Huo Family, Qin Family along with Zhang Family, Lou Family, and Qian Family were all embroiled in conflict. The government had no choice but to relinquish control over everything.
