At this point, Mrs. Wei’s daughter had transformed into “Mutated Wei Wuxin” within this cave.
When she had just defeated “Mutated Wei Wuxin,” it dropped a ring—not an equipment piece, but a Quest Item. Judging by its description, it seemed to be a continuation of the delivery quest. At this stage, it was clear that this was no longer just a hidden delivery quest.

Another player on the Forum, who had also received the delivery quest from the Novice Village Chief, found it merely to be a Hidden Mission, with rich rewards. However, now that she had progressed this far, it was clear that this quest was far more complex than described. Perhaps there was nothing inherently complicated about the quest itself; maybe one of her steps had gone awry, leading to this mutated task? If so, which step had caused this mutation?
Thinking about her sister still waiting in the hospital for her second treatment payment made Yan Yan feel increasingly restless.
