Tonight, no matter what, she was determined to use all her charms to keep him here with her.
Sigh, faced with such male beauty, the shrewd Huang had forgotten to wonder why Chen Xiaode was here for no reason. At that moment, Chen Xiaode remained silent, only impatiently moving forward to strip her of her clothes.
"Madam..." Seeing the person sprawled on the bed as if being tormented, the Maid trembled while holding a basin of water, wanting to leave.
Huang was still asleep; last night's wildness had drained her already weakened body, and now she was dreaming proudly in her sleep... a smile lingered at the corners of her mouth.
"Sister, Rou'er has come to pay her respects," Rou'er said, gently cradling her slightly protruding belly as she slowly walked in with the help of a maid. Since entering the door, she had developed a habit of coming early every day to greet Huang, never being arrogant or malicious, which made her quite popular in the Chen Residence.
"Madam," upon hearing that voice, the maid's face turned pale. She quickly set down the basin and rushed over to slightly adjust the position of the person sprawled out before covering them with a blanket.
"Is my sister still not up?" Rou'er asked the maid at the door with a puzzled expression.
"Yes, Madam has not yet awakened," the maid outside replied honestly, unaware of what was happening inside. After all, this Aunt Huang was quite skilled at winning people's hearts.
"What’s going on? I’m a bit late today; my sister usually wakes up early. Is she ill or something?" After muttering to herself, Rou'er scolded, "You girls are so negligent towards your mistress! If anything happens to my sister, I will hold you accountable!"
After saying that, she pushed open the door. The ambiguous atmosphere that rushed toward her made Rou'er frown slightly. The chaotic scene in the room was beyond repair; the maid stood awkwardly to one side, blushing and unable to speak for a long time.
"Sister..." Rou'er’s expression changed as she softly called out. When there was no response, she lowered her voice and instructed the nearby Girl, "Clean this place up; it needs to be spotless. Do you understand?"
The Girl froze for a moment upon hearing this, startled by Aunt Rou's rare seriousness. She quickly nodded in agreement.
Not long after Rou'er left with the Girl's support, Huang slowly woke up. She tiredly rubbed her waist and called out, "Where is everyone?"
"Madam, you’re awake?" The maid had been waiting nearby and immediately helped her sit up... At that moment, Huang was completely unclothed; as the blanket slipped away, her well-maintained fair skin was revealed. She noticed the red marks from kisses on her body and a proud smile appeared on her lips.
"Help me get ready. Has Aunt Rou arrived?" She intended to make an impression on them.
"Aunt Rou has come. After seeing that the lady hasn't woken up, she left..." the maid reported in a low voice.
"What time is it now?" Huang asked, puzzled. How could Aunt Rou have come and she still not be awake?
"Breakfast has already passed," the maid's words caused Huang's expression to change. She touched her face and murmured in confusion, "How did I sleep so deeply?" Suddenly remembering something, she sharply questioned, "Did Aunt Rou do anything after she came in?" Normally, even the slightest sound would wake her; why had she slept so soundly this time?
"Aunt Rou didn't do anything. She just ordered me to clean the room thoroughly, and her tone was unusually stern. I was scared, so I tidied up carefully," the maid replied. It only took a little effort to pick up the clothes scattered on the floor and organize things a bit.
As Huang listened to her speak while getting dressed, a smug smile appeared on her lips. She thought that Aunt Rou must be acting this way because the master had spent the night with her last night, and now she was angry and trying to erase any evidence.
Unaware of the impending disaster, Huang wanted to show off a little and set the table for lunch, inviting Aunt Rou to join them, with Chen Xiaode as the main guest.
"Sister, you’re expecting, so you need to eat more," Huang said gently as she served Aunt Rou a helping of food.
"Thank you, sister," Aunt Rou replied gracefully, gratefully accepting the bowl.
Seeing them getting along harmoniously, Chen Xiaode found it strange but appreciated that Huang was quiet for once; it made for a pleasant meal. The atmosphere at the table was quite nice until Huang suddenly blurted out something that left both Aunt Rou and Chen Xiaode frozen.
"Sister, your condition isn't suitable for serving the master. From now on, let him come to my room like last night. You can skip your greetings in the future to avoid straining yourself," Huang said casually while sipping her soup.
"Last night?" Aunt Rou's body trembled as she softly asked, "Sister means... the master was in your room last night?"
"Of course! If you don't believe me, you can ask the master," Huang said with a proud expression, thinking she had struck a blow against her. She pretended to be kind and comforted her, "Sister shouldn't be sad. Once you have your baby, the master will still dote on you!" At that moment, I’ll make sure you can't even see him.
Whether you give birth to a son or a daughter, they will all belong to me; you'll never see them in your lifetime.
"You shameless woman," just as Huang was reveling in her triumph, Chen Xiaode suddenly slammed his hand on the table and shouted angrily, "Kneel down!"
Huang's smile froze on her face, startled by Chen Xiaode's harsh words, "You shameless person." She stammered, "My lord, what’s wrong?"
Without explanation, he struck her hard across the face. The blow left Huang dazed, covering her cheek in confusion, completely unaware of what she had done to provoke such anger from Chen Xiaode.
"My lord, what did I do wrong? Why are you treating me like this?" Overwhelmed by the situation, she covered her face and looked at the man who had been with her for twenty years, disbelief etched on her features.
"You shameless woman, how dare you say that..." Chen Xiaode was clearly furious, breathing heavily, his face flushed with rage.
"Sister, last night the lord was in my room..." Aunt Rou tried to explain kindly, her expression filled with helplessness.
"No, that’s impossible," Huang exclaimed as Aunt Rou's words began to sink in. She screamed, "The lord was in my room! He came in the middle of the night and left only this morning. How could he have been with you?" What was going on?
"The lord never left... I watched him wake up this morning. He had breakfast with me before I went to greet you... It was just that your room was a mess and you were still asleep. I was afraid of being suspected, so I had the maid clean it up. I didn’t expect you would... Oh sister, how foolish you are!" Aunt Rou lamented with a look of regret.
