Hanno's response was a couple of light chuckles. Although Sun Yuqin didn't understand the deeper meaning behind those chuckles, he still felt somewhat bewildered.
"Why are you going to the battlefield?" Sun Yuqin finally asked the main question. Although he didn't like Han Yongxia, he knew her and didn't want to see her go to the battlefield to meet her end. "Even though you've awakened the Fire of Departure, victory on the battlefield isn't just about personal strength. Besides, there are plenty of skilled Zerg fighters. Any one of the four royal guards comparable to an Eighteenth Level expert could easily take on Fire of Departure and Chasing Wind. Why would you want to go there to die?"
"Who said I'm going there to die?" Hanno scoffed lightly. "Do you look down on my abilities?"
Sun Yuqin sighed softly. "Even though I'm already at Fifteen Levels and with Chasing Wind, I can barely hold my own against one of the Zerg's Four Great Guardians. You're only just at Fourteen Levels; even with Fire of Departure's help, you can't stand against one of the Four Great Guardians."
"You don't need to worry about that; I have my own reasons," Hanno said, appreciating that Sun Yuqin was concerned for her. Although she sensed his condescension, she accepted his kindness and softened her tone. "I'm going to the battlefield to find someone, and I'm confident I can protect myself. You just need to take care of Chen Mu Yu; she's a symbol of hope for the warriors and isn't very strong. I'm afraid she might become a target for the Zerg."
"Even if you don't, I will. My woman—no matter if it's a person or a bug—will not be harmed," Sun Yuqin declared assertively before his curiosity got the better of him again. "Who are you looking for on the battlefield? It wouldn't be that man you've taken a liking to, would it?"
Hanno nodded. "That's right; you've guessed correctly."
Sun Yuqin was shocked. "Really? Who is he?"
Hanno smiled. "Someone you know—Li Jinlang."
Sun Yuqin was even more surprised. "You and him? When did you two get together?"
No wonder Hanno was looking for someone better than him; it turned out to be Li Jinlang, one of the twin prodigies. This man was his equal in many ways, but love makes one blind; Hanno naturally thought Li Jinlang was superior to him, just as Sun Yuqin believed Chen Mu Yu was better than Han Yongxia.
"Three years ago; I have to thank your Chen Mu Yu for this. When she invited me to be a consultant for 'Scarlet Heart,' Li Jinlang happened to be at the Film Studio and heard me playing guqin music, so he came over to introduce himself," Hanno recalled Elder Brother Li with a happy smile on her face.

"The Zerg are attacking!" Sun Yuqin activated his mech "Chasing Wind," leaping into the control room while instructing Hanno, "Stay safe!"
"You too!" Hanno pressed his space button, releasing Fire of Departure, and jumped into the control room.
"Fire of Departure, we're going to fight," Hanno said to Fire of Departure. "Let's show those ugly bugs what we're made of!"
"Alright!" Fire of Departure responded cheerfully. "Nono, let's join forces and unleash our dual swords; we will be invincible."
"Yes, invincible. Fire of Departure, go!" Hanno commanded.
Fire of Departure acknowledged with a sound and transformed into a red light, charging forward, with Chasing Wind closely following. Then, millions of mechas soared into the sky, a spectacular sight that brought tears to Chen Mu Yu's eyes. It was a complex emotion, a mix of sadness and pride, with bittersweet feelings intertwined. Chen Mu Yu clenched his fists to his chest and silently prayed to the heavens, hoping that all these warriors heading to battle would return…
This time, the Zerg's attack was on a massive scale. The Four Great Guardians were all deployed, accompanied by a group of Zerg warriors above Fifteen Levels. Their overwhelming combat power left humanity struggling to cope. Many human warriors chose to self-destruct their mechas heroically in an attempt to stop the Zerg that were stronger than them. Watching the brilliant explosions like fireworks, Hanno couldn't help but shed tears. He wasn't alone; human warriors all wept, yet no one faltered. More human fighters chose to sacrifice themselves in a mutual destruction with the Zerg.
"Sun Yuqin, you and Senior Li Yuanhao take ten Fifteen Level warriors to hold off the Four Great Guardians; I'll handle all the Zerg from the Imperial Guard!" Hanno transmitted this message with red eyes to Sun Yuqin and other masters and experts. Li Yuanhao was one of the three Eighteen Level masters; the other two had to remain at the rear with the command center, leaving only Li Yuanhao to join the battlefield with his warriors. The mechas of the three experts were not as powerful as Chasing Wind and Fire of Departure; Sun Yuqin piloted Chasing Wind, matching their strength but slightly weaker than the Zerg guards. The masters at Fifteen Levels were even weaker; it took two or three of them to match one Zerg guard.
"Don't be impulsive!" Sun Yuqin shouted in protest. He thought Hanno only had a Fourteen Level strength.
