"Elder Brother Li": "Conan is a detective; he stands for justice and truth." 0

Hanno chuckled, his interest piqued again. "I've thought of a way to commit murder next time. Isn't Conan a scientific atheist? Let's use a real ghost to kill someone and see how he finds the Murderer!" 0

Elder Brother Li said indulgently, "Do as you please." 0

Soon enough, Conan encountered another murder case. Based on the number of cases he had dealt with over the past twenty years as a student, it seemed that Hanno arranged a case for him almost every few days. In previous cases, Conan had successfully identified the Murderer each time, restoring much of his confidence. This time, however, the manner of death was very strange; the victim had died in plain sight of everyone. No one had approached the victim during that time, yet he died just like that. It wasn't due to sudden illness, poisoning, or gunshot wounds... During the autopsy, Conan discovered numerous bite marks on the victim's body. The moment those dark blue bite marks appeared, the previously intact corpse was left in tatters, as if it had been gnawed apart by someone. The fatal wound was a bite mark on the neck, suggesting that the victim had been literally bitten to death. But clearly, no one had approached him... 0

With no leads on the assailant, Conan felt disheartened again and sat on the steps, tugging at his hair. Hanno walked over, squatted down beside him, and gently ruffled his hair. "I told you not to pull your hair; you'll really go bald." 0

Conan looked up at Hanno and asked, "Big sister, does this incident have anything to do with you?" 0

Hanno smiled. "What about you?" 0

Conan replied, "I have a feeling it’s related to you, but you never got close to the victim, and his death is so peculiar that it doesn’t seem human-made." 0

Hanno sat down next to Conan. "Have you checked the victim's identity?" 0

Conan nodded. "The victim was the chairman of Kishida Trading Company. He divorced his wife long ago; their daughter lives with her mother. He was quite open-minded and had several mistresses; there’s nothing particularly special about him." 0

"Looks like you didn’t find out much," Hanno said. "Actually, this person was a human trafficker; he was part of an international crime organization that kidnaps young and beautiful girls to sell them to other countries. Some girls couldn’t bear the humiliation and committed suicide; others were tortured to death. Kishida's sins are even heavier than those of your big sister." 0

"So this incident was still orchestrated by big sister?" Conan stared intently at Hanno. "Are you considering yourself a messenger of justice?" 0

"Don't put such a cheesy title on me," Hanno retorted playfully as she roughly tousled Conan's hair again. "I didn't kill anyone." 0

"But big sister should know who the Murderer is," Conan stated confidently. 0

Hanno smiled, "Of course I know, but you can't catch those murderers." 0

"Those?" Conan asked, puzzled. 0

"Yes, those!" Hanno replied. "Those are the spirits of the girls harmed by Kishida. I merely gave them some power so they wouldn't have to linger around Kishida, watching him enjoy himself while being unable to do anything. Now, they have taken their revenge themselves; not only did they kill Kishida, but they also tore apart his soul." 0

"Impossible! How can there be such a thing as ghosts? This world is based on science; ghosts and monsters are just myths, fabrications," Conan firmly rejected Hanno's words. 0

Hanno rested his chin on one hand, looking at Conan sideways. "Then how do you explain the abnormalities on Kishida?" 0

Conan recalled the sudden bite marks on the deceased and felt his worldview shatter. "How can this be? This is a world that values science; how can there be demons and monsters!" 0

Hanno patted Conan's head with pity. "Friend, this world is vast. Besides humans, there are many different races that exist. Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they don't exist. Especially when it comes to souls; you mustn't deny their existence. Otherwise, when you die, the Grim Reaper won't come to guide you!" 0

"The Grim Reaper?" Conan asked. "You mean the skeleton wearing a cloak and holding a scythe?" 0

"No, that's the Western Grim Reaper. Our Nihong Grim Reaper is actually a samurai dressed in a Death God Outfit!" 0

Conan looked at her with disdain. "Big sister, you're quite the storyteller! Any other friend would surely fall for your tricks." 0

"Conan still doesn't believe!" Hanno said with a sly smile. "I understand now; detectives believe in evidence. Unless you see it with your own eyes, you won't believe my words. Well then, let’s have you see for yourself." 0

With that, Hanno extended his right hand, placing his index and middle fingers against Conan's forehead, channeling a bit of spiritual energy into him. 0

"What are you doing?" Conan quickly swatted Hanno's hand away and covered his forehead, staring at Hanno wide-eyed. 0

Hanno smiled and pointed to another direction. Conan looked where he was pointing and his eyes widened in shock: a man dressed in black was poking a woman's forehead with the hilt of a knife, and then the woman vanished. Another woman stepped forward, urging the man to continue poking her forehead... 0

"Who are those people?" Conan had a suspicion in his heart, but he was unwilling to voice it. 0

"Didn't you already understand?" Hanno replied. "Those women are the souls of those harmed by Kishida. They are the ones who killed Kishida, and that man is the Grim Reaper, guiding them to the place where the dead should go." 0

Conan's expression was complex; what he had just witnessed shattered his worldview completely, leaving it in pieces that couldn't be put back together. 0

The man had finished guiding all the female souls, politely nodded in Hanno's direction, jumped onto a nearby rooftop, and disappeared from Conan and Hanno's sight. 0

"Is he just leaving like that?" Conan murmured. 0

"The job is done. Why stay if there's nothing left to do?" Hanno stood up. "I'm leaving too. Until next time, my friend Conan!" 0

I don't look forward to seeing you again at all, Conan silently screamed in his heart as he watched the one who shattered his worldview walk away. 0

After returning home, Conan began researching all the folklore of Nihong, which shocked both the Doctor and Ai. How could he suddenly shift from atheism to theism? Conan recounted several encounters to them, but they simply thought he was ill and hallucinating. As a result, Conan was once again forced to undergo a full medical examination at the hospital. 0

Following this, Conan encountered several cases where he couldn't identify the murderer. There were vampire killings—insane Levele, secretly manipulated by Hanno, who eliminated her chosen scum and then let Conan and his friends stumble upon them. This time Ai also participated in the investigation, resulting in yet another shattered worldview—there were monsters killing people, curses causing deaths... various novel methods of murder and murderers left Conan and Ai's worldviews in tatters once more. The poor detective was on the verge of being broken by Hanno. 0

Finally, Hanno's conscience seemed to have returned, allowing Conan some respite. 0

One morning, Shinichi Kudo awoke from his dreams, half-opening his eyes to get out of bed when suddenly he felt something was off. He stretched out his hand before him; it was a young man's hand rather than a child's. Looking down, he noticed that the pajamas he wore last night were torn and tattered! 0

He closed his eyes, opened them again, closed them once more, then opened them again—the scene remained unchanged. So had he reverted back? But what exactly had happened? How did he suddenly change back? Shinichi's drowsiness vanished entirely as he cautiously checked his room and found a letter beside his pillow. 0

Shinichi carefully opened the envelope; a note fell out first. Picking it up, he saw it read: "I had a great time playing with you during this period. The contents of this envelope are a reward for your performance." At the end was a drawing of a tongue sticking out; no name was written, but Shinichi knew this letter was from Hanno and that his sudden return to his original form was also Hanno's doing. Hanno was too enigmatic! 0

Taking out the contents of the envelope made Shinichi's eyes widen even further. Inside were documents related to the Black Organization, including a list of all high-ranking members along with their identities, addresses of their bases and research facilities, and names of world conglomerates associated with the Black Organization... With this information, the FBI could completely eliminate the Black Organization! 0

"Conan, it's time to get up for school." The door swung open as Ran walked in. 0

Caught off guard, Xinyi found himself face to face with Ran! 0

"Ah—" With a scream, Ran executed a spinning kick, and poor Xinyi was sent crashing into the wall. What a pity! 0

Hanno sat at the breakfast table, reading the newspaper: "High school detective Shinichi Kudo returns, helping the FBI solve a major case. To celebrate, he is about to get engaged to his childhood sweetheart..." 0

"Sister, your letter." A servant placed a letter taken from the mailbox next to Hanno. He opened the envelope and pulled out an invitation, smiling, "Wei Feng, Kudo Shinichi is inviting us to his engagement party!" 0

"Elder Brother Li asked, "Are you going?" 0

"No, I'm not going." Hanno set the invitation aside. "I'm not interested in the grown-up Conan. Just send a gift." 0

"Haibara Ai didn't choose to grow up," Elder Brother Li remarked. 0

"Actually, that choice is quite good. To grow up again and start a new life. Ai is smarter than many people," Hanno said with admiration on his face. "It's a pity that Kudo Shinichi has a Mouri Ran. I hope that when Ai grows up, she meets a man who truly understands and cherishes her!" 0

At that moment, Ai was tending to the wounds of a boy with silver-purple eyes. 0

"Thank you. My name is Zui Sheng Ling. I will definitely repay you for your help today," the boy promised Ai earnestly. 0
