Three days later, the two of them saw news about the s≈ap;ap;ap; group in the newspaper again, but this time the main character was Lee Jae-kyung. The South Korean police were still quite capable, and the clues in the car had not been destroyed. Lee Han-kyung was also alive, so Lee Jae-kyung was arrested. He was sentenced to eight years in prison for attempted murder, which was a lenient verdict considering that Lee Han-kyung did not pursue charges against him; otherwise, he could have faced twenty years or more behind bars. 0

Lee President was heartbroken over Lee Jae-kyung's actions, and his health deteriorated as a result. He chose to retire, passing the s≈ap;ap;ap; group on to his eldest son, Lee Han-kyung. Lee Jae-kyung truly suffered a loss for his failed schemes; upon hearing this news in prison, he spat blood and fell into silence thereafter. 0

Hanno never expected that a single act of saving someone would alter the fate of the Li Family. It remained uncertain whether Cheon Song-yi, now free from Lee Jae-kyung's schemes, would still seek help from the professor and rekindle their past relationship. However, that was not Hanno's concern, was it? 0

Now, Hanno and Elder Brother Li were troubled by one matter: how to proceed correctly? Although both were functioning normally in various aspects, their minds were not in sync. They both struggled with psychological barriers that prevented them from taking that next step. Thus, their honest discussions dragged on without resolution. Yet for Hanno and Elder Brother Li, having spent hundreds of years in seclusion during their time in the celestial realm, enduring a mere hundred years in this lifetime felt manageable. 0

"Just as you said, Hyo-rin came back looking for trust," Liu Huan poured himself a drink. While he wasn't infatuated with Min Hyo-rin like Ginger Root, she still held a goddess-like status in his heart. Now, with Min Hyo-rin shattering her image in his mind, he felt far from good. 0

Hanno took back the car keys thrown over by Liu Huan. This was the wager that Liu Huan lost to him—a top-tier sports car bought from abroad, the only one of its kind in all of Korea. 0

"What about Ginger Root?" 0

Choi Sung-jun replied, "He’s been hit hard, but after hearing our analysis, he’s gradually recovering. He plans to go abroad." 0

"Going abroad is good; out of sight, out of mind," Hanno remarked. 0

Choi Sung-jun sighed, "But Ginger Root won't forget about Min Hyo-rin so quickly." 0

Everyone sighed at this. Ginger Root truly loved Min Hyo-rin, and there was no one who loved her more than he did. Unfortunately, she failed to appreciate that love and went after something that no longer belonged to her, becoming the third party in someone else's marriage. In the end, she gained nothing and lost even the one who loved her most. 0

"Why are those two acting so strangely?" Xin Ai suddenly asked. 0

Everyone turned to look in the direction she indicated and saw a man and a woman sitting in a corner of the bar. The woman hid behind the man, occasionally peeking out as if terrified of something. Meanwhile, the man kept moving his lips toward thin air as if speaking to someone, yet he held no communication device in his hands. 0

"That man is the president of Kingd, Zhu Zhongyuan," Liu Huan recognized him. "But who is that woman? They seem to have a good relationship." 0

"She must be Zhu Zhongyuan's girlfriend, right? They look so close," Choi Sung-jun said. "What are they doing? Who are they talking to?" 0

"They're talking to a ghost," Hanno interjected. While others couldn't see it, she could clearly observe the strange behavior of the two, as they were actually wary of the female ghost nearby. The ghost's appearance was quite unsettling, no wonder Taigongshi was so frightened and kept hiding behind Zhu Zhongyuan. 0

The others were stunned by Hanno's words and laughed, thinking she was joking. 0

"Oppa, where in this world are there ghosts? You're a new-age person; you still believe in those outdated superstitions?" Xin Ai chuckled. 0

Hanno couldn't be bothered to explain; it was better to let them see for themselves. She channeled her spiritual energy into her fingers and quickly tapped each person's forehead, helping them open their eyes. 0

"What the hell is that?" Liu Huan exclaimed, falling back onto the sand at Cining Palace. 0

"Ghost, female ghost," Xin Ai shrieked, shrinking into Choi Sung-jun's embrace, trembling as she asked Hanno, "Oppa, is that really a ghost?" 0

Hanno nodded. "Didn't you all see it?" 0

"Hey, what was that tap on our foreheads just now? Was it your finger that allowed us to see the ghost?" Choi Sung-jun asked, though he was scared, he had more courage than his friends and girlfriend and had noticed Hanno's earlier action. 0

Hanno replied with an "Ah": "That's right. I used my spiritual energy to temporarily open your eyes so you could see the ghost." 0

"What the hell are you talking about? I don't understand your alien language!" Liu Huan said as he crawled back up from the sand. 0

"Heh heh, while technology from outer space may be advanced, the hidden powers on our Earth are not. For example, what I just did to help you open your eyes is something I learned from a Taoist in Huaxia." 0

Xin Ai temporarily set aside her fear and asked Hanno, "Oppa, how come I didn't know you also practiced Daoist Arts?" 0

Hanno chuckled softly, "You met me when I was fifteen; of course, you wouldn't know about my past experiences." 0

Xin Ai retorted, "But I know you lived in Hanno until you were six, and from six to fifteen, you lived in England. You never went to Huaxia." 0

Hanno deftly avoided the topic of Huaxia's Daoist Arts. "So, I not only practice Daoist Arts but also learned some wizardry from the wizards in England." 0

"Wizards?" Xin Ai and Liu Huan exclaimed in astonishment. "There are wizards in this world?" 0

"Not just wizards; they have their own world," Hanno explained. "Liu Huan, you've been to England, right? Have you ever been to The Leaky Cauldron on the streets of London?" 0

Liu Huan shook his head and thought for a moment. "The Leaky Cauldron is quite famous in London, but it looks so run-down; how could I possibly go inside?" 0

Hanno laughed. "Then you've missed a chance to broaden your horizons. The Leaky Cauldron is the gateway from the Muggle world to the wizarding world." 0

"What?" Liu Huan said incredulously. "Is that true?" 0

"Absolutely true. Behind The Leaky Cauldron, there's a well that leads to Diagon Alley, the commercial street of the wizarding world. From the surface, it looks like there's just a trash can and some weeds, but if you count three bricks up from the trash can and two bricks across, then tap gently on that spot with a wizard's wand three times, that brick will shake and reveal an archway leading to Diagon Alley, the most bustling commercial street in the British Wizarding World." 0

After hearing this, Liu Huan felt immense regret. "If I had known this earlier, I would have gone to The Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley to see for myself." 0

Choi Sung-jun comforted him, "It's okay; we can go to England anytime. After a while, we'll all go to The Leaky Cauldron together." 0

Xin Ai still found it hard to believe. "Wizards sound incredible; it's almost unimaginable. They seem like something out of legends. I wonder if there are vampires and werewolves too?" 0

"Yes!" Hanno said. "Do you remember the Thanksgiving trip we took two years ago when we met the Karen family in Fox Town? They're all vampires." 0

Xin Ai gasped, "Don't scare me!" 0

Hanno replied, "I'm not scaring you; it's the truth." 0

"They're really vampires?" Xin Ai exploded. "And you still had me stay at their house? If I didn't get drained of blood in the middle of the night, I must have been lucky!" 0

"No," Hanno said. "They're Vegetarians; they don't drink human blood, so we're safe." 0

Xin Ai's mouth twitched. "I've never heard of vampires being Vegetarians before." 0

"That's because you haven't seen much. No, actually, you've seen quite a bit." 0

"What do you mean?" Xin Ai felt a bad premonition. 0

"It means you've encountered not only female ghosts..." Hanno pointed towards Taigongshi and continued, "but also vampires, and you've even met legendary paladins and werewolves." 0

"When did I ever encounter paladins and werewolves?" Xin Ai asked. 0

Hanno chuckled. "That student from Italy at our school, Karens, is a paladin, and that guy who was pursuing you, Romand, is actually a werewolf." 0

"Oppa, you're terrible." Xin Ai recalled dancing with a werewolf once and felt goosebumps all over. Choi Sung-jun quickly hugged his girlfriend tightly. "With me around, no werewolf will harm you." 0

Xin Ai glanced at Choi Sung-jun beside her. Compared to other Asians, he was great, but when it came to strong, tall men... well, maybe she should reduce her trips to the United States in the future. 0

The three of them had their perspectives thoroughly refreshed by Hanno, and it took a while for them to reassemble their thoughts. Once they managed to piece everything back together, Xin Ai recalled the other two individuals who had sparked a series of topics and asked, "Should we go help them?" 0

Hanno glanced over and replied, "No need. That female ghost means no harm to them; she's seeking help from that woman. They'll be fine." 0

Choi Sung-jun curiously asked, "Are they the kind of people who can see ghosts because they have the ability to see both realms?" 0

Hanno nodded. "Not exactly born with it; rather, an accident that threatened their lives granted that woman the ability to see both realms." 0

Liu Huan inquired, "What about us? Will we always be like this?" 0

He pointed at his own eyes. "Does that mean we'll see ghosts from now on?" 0

"No," Hanno reassured them. "I’ve only temporarily opened your eyes. After twenty-four hours, they will close automatically." 0

Upon hearing this, Xin Ai, Choi Sung-jun, and Liu Huan all sighed in relief. 0

"Here comes the message," Choi Sung-jun said as he spotted Li Xin entering through the bar door. Li Xin looked exhausted; the pressure from the news lately must have been overwhelming for him, especially with the complications of dealing with two women... Hanno could only think of two words: serves him right! 0

Li Xin had been overly protected by the Emperor and the Queen. As the Crown Prince, he lacked any sense of what that role entailed. He often complained about the pressure but shied away from responsibility; he was essentially a child who hadn't grown up. However, as family, Hanno still liked Li Xin. He was very sincere towards those he recognized, treating Hanno like a true brother without any guard up at all. 0
