Chapter 127: Farewell and Promise
Before Xiaqiu spoke these words, he felt a bit hesitant, but after saying them, his heart felt incredibly clear.
He had spent a long time with Nico Robin, over two years to be precise, sharing both day and night together.

Moreover, Xiaqiu could see that she did not enjoy this kind of life. Managing Baroque Works and fighting were immense pressures for her.
Especially in recent times, the life of fleeing had left her on edge and nearly unbearable.

Xiaqiu nodded.
Nico Robin gazed at Xiaqiu and said, "Then if you don't plan to go..."
"No, you must go."
Xiaqiu looked at Nico Robin and said, "As long as you're there, you can fulfill your dream. And Nico Robin, deep down, you also want to join the Revolutionary Army, right?"
Nico Robin opened her mouth and nodded.
Xiaqiu said, "Then go."
Nico Robin asked with some concern, "But if you’re not staying with me, where are you planning to go?"

"Alright, I'll help you," Nico Robin said earnestly.
Xiaqiu looked at Haku and asked, "Did you come here by yourself?"
Haku shook his head and said, "I came with two others."
Xiaqiu continued, "Then how do we determine Nico Robin's route for leaving?"
Haku explained, "We can head towards Aiven Island near Kars Kingdom. There's another route that the Navy isn't patrolling yet. I can take you to that location. Once we arrive, we’ll meet up with my other two companions and then leave together through a secret channel."
Xiaqiu nodded and said, "Alright, can we wait until tomorrow morning to set out?"
"That works."
Haku added, "If you’re comfortable with it, I need to go back and inform my companions so they can set off immediately."
"Are you planning to leave?" Nico Robin looked at Haku, her brow slightly furrowed as she felt a bit worried.
"It’s fine."
Xiaqiu turned to Haku and said, "Then please go notify the others."
"Okay."
Haku nodded and then walked to the shore, leaping into the water.
Nico Robin waited for him to leave before retracting her gaze, looking at Xiaqiu with a complex expression. "So have you made your decision? To stay here. From now on, it will only be you. How will you communicate with others?"
Xiaqiu shook her head and replied, "I am not alone."
Nico Robin asked curiously, "What do you mean?"
Xiaqiu looked at Nico Robin and said, "So I hope you can help me with something."

The next morning, Nico Robin rubbed her sleepy eyes and slowly got up. She stretched lazily, stood up, brushed off the dirt from her clothes, and turned around just in time to see Xiaqiu looking at her.
Nico Robin hadn't gone back to sleep the night before; she had chatted with Xiaqiu until late into the night. Eventually, she became so tired that she fell asleep resting against Xiaqiu's head.
Seeing her asleep, Xiaqiu didn't dare to move, afraid of accidentally crushing her.
They had talked about many things—Xiaqiu's experiences, Nico Robin's past, even literature, stories, and traditions.
In the end, the sadness in their hearts diminished significantly.
Because they both had things they wanted to achieve and understood that their respective decisions were the best paths forward.
Joining the Revolutionary Army was Nico Robin's best destination.
And Xiaqiu's request for Nico Robin's help also allowed Nico Robin to understand some of Xiaqiu's thoughts, which she was more than happy to support.
"I'll go pack up a bit."
Nico Robin returned to the house and began gathering the items she planned to take with her. However, when she came back out, she only had a single bundle.
"Are you bringing so little?" Xiaqiu asked curiously.
Nico Robin smiled and replied, "It's enough. The rest can stay here. If I have the chance, I'll come back."
Xiaqiu nodded, hoping that she too would be able to return one day.
"Splash!"
With a splash, a figure leaped onto the shore and looked at the two of them. "Are you ready?"
Nico Robin nodded. "Let's go."
Haku took out a Permanent Compass and said, "We'll head to Kars Kingdom first, which is on another route. Once we're close, we'll make our way to Elven Island. Just follow me closely."
With that, Haku jumped into the sea and swam off into the distance.
Xiaqiu followed suit, jumping into the water while Nico Robin climbed onto Xiaqiu's back. Together, they pursued Haku as they swam away.
The three of them ventured into the distance, riding the waves and avoiding dangerous waters.
After three hours, Xiaqiu felt hungry and decided to dive for food while Haku carried Nico Robin on the Water Surface.
After two or three times, at nine o'clock, a massive island appeared in the distance at five in the afternoon.
"Over there."
Haku pointed into the distance and swam ahead toward that direction.
Xiaqiu kept a distance behind, climbing ashore. Nico Robin climbed down from Xiaqiu's head and asked, "Where are your companions?"
"They left at night, but they need to reach Kars Kingdom first. Then they will contact Vessel through the Revolutionary Army's influence there to get here."
Haku gestured toward the distance and said, "This is Desolate Island. Let's go in to avoid being spotted."
Xiaqiu and Nico Robin followed Haku into the depths of the island, continuing to wait until eight in the evening when a ship slowly approached from afar.
"They're here."
Haku called out to the two, and then the three of them moved forward to greet the arrival.
It was a Cargo Ship that gradually came ashore. Two figures jumped down from the ship and appeared before them.
One was a man and the other a woman.
The man was about the same height as Nico Robin, wearing a black top hat and carrying a steel pipe on his back.
The woman had an alluring figure, dressed in black stockings and high heels, with a round hat on her head.
Sabo and Kera.
Upon seeing the two, Xiaqiu immediately recognized them; it was indeed them.
Sabokarla and Haku often teamed up with the three of them for missions, achieving high efficiency.
Sabo smiled at Nico Robin and said, "Welcome, Sister Nico Robin."
"Hello," Nico Robin nodded at Kera.
"I've heard your name for a long time, but this is my first time meeting you. You really are tall."
Kera extended her hand toward Nico Robin and said, "Nice to meet you. I'm Sabo, and this is Kera."
Nico Robin shook her hand and replied with a smile, "It's nice to meet you too."
Sabo then looked at Xiaqiu and asked, "So, you're not coming with us?"
"No."
Xiaqiu shook his head at Sabo and said, "I plan to go somewhere else."
"That’s quite a conversation."
Kera looked at Xiaqiu in surprise and said, "Master Haku told me that the giant beast of Nico Robin can talk; I didn't believe it at first."
Xiaqiu glanced at Kera and snorted lightly, saying, "Talking isn't that difficult."
Kera chuckled and asked, "So you're not coming back with us?"
Xiaqiu shook his head and said, "Forget it, I'm not interested in joining you. However, I need a way to contact you."
"Contact us?" Sabo was somewhat surprised.
Xiaqiu replied, "In a few years, I will have something that requires your help, or perhaps collaboration."
"What is it?" Sabo raised an eyebrow.
"I can't tell you right now. At least if you heard it now, you would definitely think I couldn't accomplish it. But when the time comes, I will prove my capabilities to you. This matter is even more urgent for the Revolutionary Army than for me; you would want to complete it, but you won't take action. Perhaps I might end up helping you instead," Xiaqiu said seriously as he looked at Sabo.
Nico Robin, hearing this, looked at Xiaqiu and gently said, "Whatever it is, Qiu, I'm willing to help you."
Sabo frowned slightly, unsure whether he should assist him. Haku yawned; such matters were not for him to ponder.
Kera thought for a moment, snapped his fingers, and said, "We can leave a contact method, but whether we help you will depend on what you bring up at that time."
Xiaqiu nodded slightly and replied, "That works."
Kera continued, "You must acknowledge that this is not a partnership but assistance. As long as we help you, you must also help us once."
Xiaqiu considered this and said, "I agree."
Kera smiled in satisfaction and said, "Then we will give you our contact information. Every year on January 1st and June 1st, we will send someone here to stay for a while. If you need our help, come here and tell that person what you need to do."
"Alright."
Xiaqiu felt that this method was good; it ensured the safety of both parties.
With the help of the Revolutionary Army, the completion of my plan would be much more feasible.
Kera added, "Five years. You only have five years. If you haven't contacted us by then, this matter will be considered over."
"Understood."
Xiaqiu nodded. Five years should be enough to meet the initial requirements of the plan.
"Then it's settled."
Kera smiled.
Sabo then asked, "You two should say your goodbyes. We need to leave soon; our Cargo Ship can only stay for half an hour at most."
"No need for that much time."
Xiaqiu looked at Nico Robin, his expression complicated as he said, "Nico Robin, take care of yourself."
"Yes, I will."
Nico Robin replied, looking at Xiaqiu. "You need to stay safe too."
"I will."
Xiaqiu nodded and then turned to Sabo, saying, "Make sure to protect her and keep her safe from harm."
Sabo smiled and assured him, "Don't worry. She's our companion; we'll take good care of her."
"That's good. Goodbye, Nico Robin."
Xiaqiu turned around and walked towards the coast, disappearing into the distance.
"Goodbye."
Nico Robin's eyes were red, with tears shimmering.
Sabo gently said, "Sister Nico Robin, let's go."
"Mm."
Nico Robin wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes and boarded the ship with Sabo and Haku.
The cargo ship slowly set sail, heading towards an unknown direction.
