Chapter 171: A Bountiful Harvest
"What was the outcome of the battle?"
As the flames and black smoke clashed, the fight between Blackbeard, his Pirate Crew, and the eight others, including Heckler, gradually came to a halt as they retreated to a safe distance.
Once they reached a secure area, the eight did not immediately resume fighting.
Their strengths were closely matched, making it difficult to gain an overwhelming advantage.
Bashas had sustained the most injuries; his right arm was rendered useless, his left hand was broken, and his body was covered in wounds. However, through his desperate struggle, Heckler had reached his limit and could barely lift his arms.
Both Ace and Lafitte had been hit by bullets but still maintained a certain level of combat effectiveness.

Christmas did not respond. Cecilia looked at Heckler, who was moving his injured arm and said, "Then let's wait a moment."
They were not worried about who would win between Blackbeard and Ace. Because with the president there, victory would inevitably belong to him.
The eight of them waited in silence as time ticked by, none daring to relax, all on high alert, watching each other closely.
Just then, footsteps suddenly echoed in the darkness.

Lafitte noticed the change in expression and his face shifted. He then said, "A third party is here; we should leave."
With his words, they immediately planned to retreat.
But the Eight had already grasped their forms.
Lafitte had just taken flight when Cecilia leaped high, kicking out.
With no choice, Lafitte could only land slowly.
Van Auga wanted to rescue Lafitte, but the Eight had already pounced, while Poison Q intended to stop them. Christmas's bullets were already flying in.
As for Heckler, he stepped in front of Bashas, blocking his path.
The eight were engaged in battle when a massive figure slowly approached from the distance, coming into view before everyone.
"What kind of monster is that?"
Bashas gritted his teeth as he stared into the distance, the terrifying beast exuding an oppressive aura, moving faster and faster.

The giant beast charged directly at Bashas.

Bashas' left arm exploded, sending him flying backward, landing far away.
Just as he hit the ground, Heckler appeared behind him, his right arm swelling as he struck Bashas' back with great force.
Boom.
Bashas was hit as if by a shield, spitting out a mouthful of blood and collapsing to the ground.
Xiaqiu knocked him away but did not pursue; instead, its tail lashed out at Lafitte, who was attempting to take flight.
"Not good."
Lafitte sensed the incoming wind and dared not confront it head-on. With a flap of his wings, he leaped diagonally upward.
But in that moment of evasion, Cecilia had already appeared above him, her foot crashing down toward his head. The fierce gust of wind surged forth; the sheer force radiating from her strike could shatter boulders from a distance.
Damn it.
Behind him, a massive beast's tail swept in, while above, Cecilia's kick was coming down.
If he continued upward, the opponent's leg would strike him; even if he managed to block it, the tail would still hit him.
In that case...
Lafitte lowered his body, dodging the kick while simultaneously thrusting his longsword toward the tail.
Clang.
The sword struck the bony plate of the tail but failed to halt its advance, which continued with tremendous force.

Lafitte was directly hit, blood spattering from his mouth. However, in that instant of impact, his wings fluttered, and he pushed off with his feet, using the momentum to fly away into the distance.

Lafitte flew close to the ground, but Cecilia suddenly descended, landing on Xiaqiu's tail before using Shave.

"Bastard."
Lafitte was once again blocked, raising his longsword to slash forward.
Cecilia naturally wouldn’t kick towards the blade and immediately halted her movement, while Lafitte felt a strong gust of wind behind him and quickly turned around.
A massive tail had silently approached, striking towards his back.
Behind him, Cecilia kicked again.
Just as Xiaqiu thought he would block her, his tail struck Lafitte's chest without any obstruction.

Lafitte staggered back, only to be kicked by Cecilia, and with a crack, his wings were shattered.
However, at that moment, Cecilia's expression changed.
A longsword had pierced her abdomen.

Lafitte fell heavily to the ground, while Cecilia's abdomen bled profusely.

But at that moment, a giant beast lunged at him.

Van Auga remained calm as he saw the beast charging. Once it got closer, he suddenly leaped back.
He avoided Xiaqiu's attack, and its massive form perfectly blocked the path of the beast.
Just as Van Auga planned to take this opportunity to escape, two tentacles suddenly struck at him.
"What is this?"
Van Auga sidestepped one of the tentacles, aiming his spear at the other and pulling the trigger.

The bullet struck the Tentacles, but the Tentacles remained unharmed and swiftly pulled back.

Van Auga was directly hit and sent flying backward, landing on the ground while coughing up blood incessantly.
He was a Gunner, not slow in movement, but his physical constitution was somewhat weak.
As he hit the ground, Xiaqiu had already lunged forward with a bite.

"It's him," Xiaqiu said slowly as he retracted his head, surprised to encounter Eight again, especially since he had grown to this extent.
Xiaqiu glanced at Eight and intended to assist Poison Q, only to realize that Heckler had already gone to help. Together with Christmas, they were showing signs of defeat.
The tension among the four was palpable.
Although their Enhanced Energy couldn't compare to the Heat Flow provided by the Blackbeard within Xiaqiu's belly, which was on par with a Vice Admiral's power, it still offered a significant boost.
This time, the gains were substantial.
The Blackbeard Pirate Crew provided Enhanced Energy.
Ace became one of his subordinates.
