"I'm really tired. I still have to write for you all on Saturday night. So if you like it, please send some flowers, bookmark it, or leave a comment. Every little bit will motivate me. Thank you to the few readers who have been with me for over a month; I truly appreciate you."

"What on earth is going on?" Chen Rui was very displeased with the situation spiraling out of control.
"There's nothing much going on; we don't know the specifics either," Li Li said with a smile and a shrug, her expression quite meaningful.
"What the hell!" Chen Rui couldn't help but roar, "You wrote the script, and you don't even know?"
"If we knew, there would be no entertainment value. We put in some effort to keep it interesting!" Zhou Zhi chuckled.
Chen Rui painfully rubbed his forehead, feeling utterly drained as he looked at the four people in front of him. "Get in the car! We'll talk about it later."
The six of them got into the car driven by Peng Hao. The massive SUV with three rows of seats had ample space to comfortably accommodate seven people.
"What exactly is going on?" Chen Rui turned his seat to face the four in front of him.
"I really don't know," Wang Xinzhuo said with a mischievous grin.
Seeing everyone nodding in unison, it didn't seem like they were joking, leaving Chen Rui utterly confused.
"Alright, alright," Li Li clapped her hands to stop the teasing. "Since we anticipated this outcome, to enhance the gameplay experience, we decided to randomly draw from multiple scripts for the game. This way, everyone except for the person who wrote the storyline can feel immersed and won't know what will happen next."
Upon hearing this explanation, Chen Rui slumped completely in his seat. "I can't believe you managed to come up with that. So let's get specific."
Peng Hao laughed, "Come on! With such thoughtful planning from Renjie, how can you not appreciate it? This is going to be so much fun, right? Hahaha."
Qin Xin patted Peng Hao on the shoulder and laughed, "This brother is really something. Just look at him, then look at you. Our good intentions are wasted on you! Truly ungrateful!"
Chen Rui helplessly glanced at his family member's awkward posture but was too lazy to address it. Instead, he looked at Li Li, waiting for him to continue.
"I wrote a script: World War!" Li Li said with a smile, nearly causing Chen Rui to slide off his seat in shock.
"W-World War? Have you gotten too used to living in peaceful times?" Chen Rui managed to sit up straight again, weakly retorting.
Li Li's smile widened even more.
"You're absolutely right! I've gotten so used to peace, I'm tired of it. I want to experience the thrill of war, and the best part is, no one will die. Isn't that worth it?"
Chen Rui waved his hand dismissively. "Brother, focus."
"Right, we are a special forces team sent by our government, and our mission is to take out the country's top leader."
Li Li looked around and asked, "Isn't that bad?"
"Good! Of course it's good!" Zhou Zhi chimed in. "Who would have thought we could play special forces? What a steal!"
Qin Xin pondered for a moment. "This difficulty level is a bit high, but it's fine; challenges make it interesting."
Chen Rui stared blankly at the four people before him, his mind already playing out a scene: Oh no! This isn't just a bit difficult; this is basically an impossible mission! And they think it's fun? The moment we make any move, we'll probably be surrounded by their stationed troops! At that point, one barrage of firepower and we're done for! And they still think there's fun in this???
Though he thought this way inside, he could only smile and nod along while a hundred thousand alpacas galloped through his mind.
"How about you?" Chen Rui asked Zhou Zhi with a smile that appeared sunny but was actually a grimace, as he had smiled so much that his true emotions were often hard to read.
"Me?"
Zhou Zhi scratched the back of his head, looking somewhat embarrassed.
The more Zhou Zhi acted this way, the more Chen Rui worried: What kind of ridiculous ideas would he come up with?
"Actually, it's not as difficult as Li Li's scenario. The plot is roughly this: there’s been an uprising in a certain region of the country, but the government forces have surrounded it completely, to the point where even the rebel army doesn't dare to act recklessly."
Chen Rui let out a slight sigh of relief; if it was about eliminating the rebels under these conditions, then indeed, it wasn't as challenging as Li Li's intense script.
"If that's the case, then wiping out the rebels is just a matter of time."
Zhou Zhi shook his head with a smile. "Not quite. We're a secret unit of the insurgents. We came here to incite the people and take control of this area."
Zhou Zhi's words completely disrupted what Chen Rui had prepared to say, leaving him momentarily speechless.
In Chen Rui's mind: Brother, have you watched too many revolutionary films? How could such an uprising happen in this era? The government forces wouldn't leave any survivors for the rebels; they would crush them decisively! There are only about twenty of us here—how can we control this area? How many police are there? And isn't there a garrison nearby? This difficulty level is really not higher than Li Li's mission because you all have already... well! Brother, you really missed out if you think we're in the 1940s!
A burst of laughter from Peng Hao broke the silence in the vehicle. "This is good; there's potential here."
"Yeah, definitely." Even Wang Xinzhuo laughed, adding, "This should be fun."
"Sister..." Chen Rui looked at Wang Xinzhuo with a wry smile.
"Who is your elder sister?" Wang Xinzhuo glared at Chen Rui, forcing him to swallow the words that were about to escape his lips.
"Sister?" Chen Rui asked tentatively.
"Pah! Who are you cursing? Trying to be a rogue?" Wang Xinzhuo threw her bulletproof helmet at Chen Rui. Given the close distance, even someone as quick as Chen Rui couldn't dodge this direct hit.
Chen Rui covered his nose, on the verge of tears, while Li Xue couldn't help but laugh at his predicament.
Rubbing his nose in discomfort, Chen Rui said, "Sister?"
"Mm?" Wang Xinzhuo glanced sideways at Chen Rui, seemingly reluctantly accepting the title.
Indeed, deep down, women often hope to be called young, even if they adamantly refuse to admit it verbally.
"What about your script?"
"It's simple! Have you ever seen a disaster movie where all of humanity perishes? That's where I drew my inspiration from," Wang Xinzhuo recalled.
"Mysterious Code?"
"No."
"Catastrophic Flood?"
"No."
“I'm wrong. In the end, only a few tens of thousands survived, but just a few tens of thousands,” Wang Xinzhuo said.
“Am I a legend?”
“Is that even a person?”
“Are you sure he was the only one who survived?”
“Stop the verbal sparring!” Li Xue shouted, then turned to Chen Rui and asked, “Do you know?”
“Not sure,” Chen Rui shook his head. “Are you certain only a few tens of thousands survived? How do you know it's tens of thousands and not just a few thousand or a few million?”
“Because the movie mentioned it; only a few tens of thousands could survive,” Wang Xinzhuo smiled. “I watched that movie back in school when it was all the rage.”
“I think I get it now,” Chen Rui said with a bitter smile, shaking his head. “So what’s our mission? Is it just to get boarding passes? At my level, I doubt I can get one, and among us here, who has a billion euros?”
“A billion euros? What the hell?” Qin Xin shook her head, still not understanding which movie Chen Rui was referring to.
“You went to school in the early 2000s, right? How distant that feels,” Zhou Zhi said with a mischievous grin, earning an eye roll from Wang Xinzhuo. “But if that's the case, it’s easy to guess. Early 2000s, disaster movie, only a few tens of thousands survived, boarding passes, a billion euros! There’s only one movie that fits all those clues!”
After Zhou Zhi's explanation, Li Xue also recalled, “That film... Sister Wang, what were you thinking... This is basically a dead end for us.”
"If it seems like a dead end for the people of this world, it might not be the same for us who have seen '1'. The defenses of Ark Base probably won't be impenetrable, after all, secrecy is the key issue," Peng Hao articulated perfectly what it means to multitask.
"Focus on driving!" Chen Rui said with a headache.
"No!" Wang Xinzhuo laughed. "If it were that easy, how could it catch my eye? In reality, there is no movie-like Ark manufacturing base called 'Zhuo Ming Gu'; that place was entirely fictionalized by the director. Since this world is also a product that completely mimics the real world, there must be a movie called '1' in this world's historical timeline. So even if there really is a place called Zhuo Ming Gu, governments would choose other bases for shipbuilding."
"I don't think we have the kind of luck or strength of a male lead. After all, I can't make a luxury car feel like a sports car; that vehicle is still a limousine!" Chen Rui complained.
"My script is also inspired by a movie, but it's about aliens—it's a sci-fi disaster film," Qin Xin said, enjoying Chen Rui's embarrassment and adding fuel to the fire.
"Eh?" Chen Rui's fragile spirit had already been roasted to a crisp, and he had developed some immunity to Qin Xin's words.
"I'm not trying to provoke you; it's just a challenging movie called 'Cataclysm,'" Qin Xin smiled.
"You just want to see if you can find your true love, right?" Peng Hao chuckled, seeing through Qin Xin's thoughts.
"What nonsense! Don't say such things," Qin Xin hurriedly interrupted. "Let's start discussing our strategy now."
"My goodness, you don't even know which script we're talking about and you're already discussing strategies?" Zhou Zhi laughed. "What about Brother Chen? What do you think, Brother Chen?"
Seeing that Chen Rui remained silent, Li Xue poked his cheek. Noticing his distressed expression, she leaned closer to his ear...
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Auntie, that hurts," Chen Rui exclaimed, covering his ears but too afraid to touch them, fearing he might provoke this auntie further.
"That's what you get for ignoring me," Li Xue said with a mischievous smile.
"Hey! When did you call me? I didn't hear you."
"Hmph! I called you in my mind."
"…"
"What do you think?" Li Xue asked as she released Chen Rui's ears.
Chen Rui hurriedly covered his ears with his hands. "Oh man, there's still one person's script I haven't heard! And even if I knew, I wouldn't have the time to formulate strategies step by step. In this situation, we can only take it one step at a time."
"That's true."

The hotel that had just been attacked by armed robbers was now devoid of any energy. Only a few staff members were contacting their superiors, cleaning up, and tallying the losses.
On the LCD screen at the bar, a news report was being broadcast:
