Due to the beautiful "coach," Li Li was likely quite experienced with speedboats. Although Chen Rui knew how to operate one, speedboats were not something easily accessible, and he had only been on one twice. His level of proficiency was far behind Li Li's, so he had fallen into a trap.
Even though he knew the odds were slim, it was not in Chen Rui's nature to back out at this moment, and he wasn't the kind of person who could be utterly shameless.
Li Xue quietly watched Chen Rui from the beach. It seemed that Chen Rui sensed her gaze, and after a moment, their eyes met.
Li Xue smiled lightly at Chen Rui and whispered something to him. However, with the wind whipping around on the speedboat, Chen Rui couldn't hear what she said. Nevertheless, it didn't matter; Li Xue's feelings had already reached his heart.
"Oh dear, oh dear! I'm so excited!" came Li Li's laughter from the left. The two were now seated on two parallel speedboats heading north, waiting for the call that would signal the start of the race.
Wang Xinzhuo sat on the beach, tightly gripping his phone as he watched the two speedboats on the water, unable to suppress a smile.
As music played from his phone, Wang Xinzhuo stood up and shouted toward the two on the speedboats, "Get ready to start!"
Hearing Wang Xinzhuo's voice, Chen Rui placed his right hand on the throttle, ready to push forward at any moment.
"3, 2, 1..." Wang Xinzhuo began counting down from three. Chen Rui shook off his sweaty hands and tried to adjust his state as best as he could; after all, he was at a disadvantage from the very beginning and had to take it seriously.
"1! Go!" Wang Xinzhuo shouted with a smile. At that moment, with a roar of the engine, Li Li quickly pushed the throttle forward and took an early lead.
"What the heck! That's cheating!!!" Chen Rui was shocked by their shameless teamwork. Who would have thought they would resort to such tactics?
Chen Rui hurriedly slammed down on the throttle, but he was already far behind Li Li. As he watched Li Li's speedboat accelerate further away, he felt like his lungs were about to explode from frustration.

On the beach, Li Xue was playfully punching Wang Xinzhuo's back with her little fists, her expression a mix of laughter and tears that was utterly adorable.
"You are so bad!" After a while of trying to push Wang Xinzhuo, realizing that her strength was insufficient to shake him, she gave up the attack and plopped down on the beach, laughing and scolding.
"Come on, Li Li's opponent is Brother Chen. If I don't give a little advantage, would there be any suspense?" Wang Xinzhuo laughed, showing no concern for Li Xue's sadness.
Li Xue angrily replied, "This is just heartbreaking. I trusted you so much, and yet you..."
"Hey! Stop right there!" Wang Xinzhuo waved his hand with a smile, took a deep breath, and said, "Who told you to bet on Chen Rui winning? If you had won, wouldn't I have to let you tease me? So it's better to keep to yourself, especially since..." Wang Xinzhuo looked at Li Xue's face with a grin, making her feel uncomfortable inside.
"Don't think of any crazy ideas. I absolutely will not choose the big adventure!" Li Xue forced herself to stay calm, but her slightly trembling lips betrayed her.
Qin Xin laughed from the side, "Are you really that lacking in confidence? What if Brother Chen wins?"
Wang Xinzhuo immediately became displeased. Although he had to admit that there was indeed a possibility of that happening, given that just a moment ago, Li Li had clearly managed to pull away from Chen Rui by quite a distance. However, since the opponent was Chen Rui, one could not rule out the possibility of Li Li losing.
"Why can't you think of something positive? Oh? Are you interested in Sheryl? It's funny that you bet on Mr. Li winning," Wang Xinzhuo said as he playfully grabbed Qin Xin by the neck and shook her back and forth.

Chen Rui also wanted to turn the tables, but this game had no loopholes whatsoever. The rules were too simple, which made it impossible to exploit any weaknesses. Moreover, both sides were using the same model of speedboat; it was entirely about skill.
Due to Wang Xinzhuo's shamelessness earlier, Li Li had managed to pull at least a hundred meters ahead of Chen Rui, who could only closely follow the splashes created by the engine of the yacht ahead.
"I have to think of a way to distract him," Chen Rui thought. He certainly wouldn't sit idly by; however, the current situation left him at a loss. With a mindset of giving it a try, he pulled out his phone and found Li Li in his contacts before dialing her number.
"Sorry, the number you dialed is currently busy. Please try again later..." The speaker repeated this message as Chen Rui stood up and looked ahead. It was clear that Li Li wasn't answering the call. Suddenly turning around, she saw Chen Rui standing there and smiled while giving him the middle finger.
"Ha! Who is more shameless, who has less face?" Seeing Li Li's raised middle finger, Chen Rui was practically ready to curse. This person was utterly shameless; how did he manage to make Dawn Heavy Industries so impressive? Was it all just due to his lack of shame?
Chen Rui sat down, anxiously tugging at his hair, and sighed before dialing Li Xue's number.
When Li Xue saw Chen Rui's call, she glanced at Qin Xin and Wang Xinzhuo, who were nearby engrossed in their affection for each other. She walked toward the beach before answering the phone.
"Hello? What's wrong?" Li Xue spoke quietly. Chen Rui calling her at this moment could only mean he needed her help, so she had to ensure the other two didn't overhear.
"Qin Xin and Wang Xinzhuo aren't around, right?" Chen Rui asked hurriedly.
"Yeah, they're not."
Chen Rui let out a sigh of relief and quickly said, "Don't do anything. Just listen carefully. We've run into trouble here; we collided with another speedboat, and now Li Li is unconscious. You need to run north immediately and make them believe you!"
"What?" Li Xue suddenly shouted.
Chen Rui was startled by her loud voice but quickly realized that Li Xue was just acting. He silently hung up the phone and immediately dialed Li Li's number.
"What's going on?" The couple on the beach heard Li Xue's shout and rushed over, looking at her with puzzled expressions.
Li Xue snapped back to reality and frantically ran north.
"This doesn't feel right," Qin Xin frowned and immediately started to follow her, but Wang Xinzhuo pulled her back.
"It might be a trap!" Wang Xinzhuo shook his head, disapproving of the idea of following her directly.
Qin Xin was also troubled, thinking, "What if something really happened?"
Wang Xinzhuo pulled Qin Xin and started running, following Li Xue. At the same time, he took out his phone and quickly scrolled through the contacts to call Li Li.
"Sorry, the number you dialed is currently busy. Please try again later..." Chen Rui heard this voice again and hurriedly hung up, dialing again…
"Sorry, the number you dialed is currently busy. Please try again later..." Hearing this voice made Wang Xinzhuo instinctively speed up. In a situation like this, how could Li Li be on another call? The phone must be in use by someone else calling the hospital!
Wang Xinzhuo frowned and said to Qin Xin, "It seems something really happened. Hurry! Damn it, they've at least run a few kilometers by now!"
"Then call that coach Li Li hired! She has a speedboat and can get there faster than us," Qin Xin urged.

"Sorry, the number you dialed is currently busy. Please try again later..." Hearing this voice once more, Chen Rui quickly hung up and repeated the call to Li Li. One hand controlled the steering wheel while the other held the phone, continuously dialing in hopes of that slim chance…
Li Li looked at her phone screen and couldn't help but smile bitterly. After hanging up Chen Rui's call again, she suddenly noticed a speedboat racing towards her. It was the same model as hers.
"What’s going on?!" Li Li immediately realized that the speedboat was being driven by her. But why wasn’t it stopped at the beach's end? Instead, it was coming towards her at a high speed.
After the two speedboats passed each other closely, Li Li quickly turned the steering wheel. Due to her speed, she made a wide turn, allowing Chen Rui, who had slowed down behind her, to slip through.
Chen Rui reduced his speed to thirty knots and made a sharp turn around the "coach's" speedboat before immediately pushing the throttle to increase his speed again.
"Wow! You can play like this too!" Li Li watched as Chen Rui outmaneuvered her, feeling both exasperated and nostalgic at the same time.
After Chen Rui and Li Li passed by, the speedboat driven by the "coach" noticeably slowed down, clearly realizing he had been tricked. However, at this point, there was nothing he could do but follow the two of them closely to prevent any further "incidents."
Although Li Li took a wide turn, his boat did not lose much speed, making him significantly faster than Chen Rui. As a result, Chen Rui had no real advantage; the gap between the two speedboats was only a few dozen meters. If it weren't for their positions crossing each other, Li Li could have splashed water on his face with the front motor.
On the beach, Li Xue, panting heavily, suddenly stopped to catch her breath. Turning around, she saw the two closely following behind and smiled happily.
Wang Xinzhuo looked at Li Xue and immediately realized he had fallen for her trick, unable to help but smile wryly.
"Look!" Qin Xin suddenly shouted, pointing at two black dots on the sea ahead. "They're coming back!"
The two black dots drew closer, and the three of them could clearly see that Chen Rui was barely maintaining a slight lead. Li Xue smiled at Wang Xinzhuo and provocatively said, "So, what do you think? Aren't we winning after all..."
Wang Xinzhuo helplessly rubbed his forehead and slumped against Qin Xin. "I'm so stupid; I can't even stand myself right now..."
"Then let's just wait for them to come back. Running this far has exhausted me," Qin Xin said as she supported Wang Xinzhuo with a laugh.
