On the platform, Chen Rui gazed at the starry sky obscured by invisible clouds, letting out a helpless sigh. He knew that growing up in the countryside was the only way to witness such a star-filled scene.
"Look at that moon, how round it is," Li Xue said, pointing at the bright crescent hanging in the sky with a smile.

"Does it hurt?" A delicate hand reached over, gently brushing against the slightly swollen skin.
Chen Rui forced a smile. This girl actually knows how to care for others; too bad she caused this herself. "Of course it hurts; you don’t know your own strength."
"Is it my fault?" She pouted in a feigned grievance, tears shimmering in her eyes.
Chen Rui sighed. "Fine, it's my fault."
"Of course it's your fault," Li Xue immediately grinned mischievously. "If it weren't for your charm being so great, I wouldn’t have bothered to do this."
Hey! Is there even a reason to be so unreasonable? Looking at the stubborn Li Xue in front of him, Chen Rui suddenly realized that he had become foolish and silly in front of this girl. He felt like he was no longer himself.
Li Xue seemed oblivious to Chen Rui's dissatisfaction and smiled, "Let me tell you about something that happened to me before. Do you remember when it was just the time for new students to register at university?"
Hey, can you not be so proactive? At least let me have a good word here. Chen Rui forced a smile as he leaned against Li Xue's fragrant shoulder, a wave of drowsiness washing over him.

"We've booked the entire top floor; why lock the door? You slept so soundly last night that even when I tossed you onto the bed, you didn't wake up—like a pig! Come on, get up and eat; we’re in a hurry today." Li Xue laughed as she walked out of the room and casually closed the door behind her.
Chen Rui sighed; it seemed he really was exhausted. This job was too taxing, but he couldn't quit—it was truly distressing.
