The fox raised an eyebrow, staring directly at Fan Yu. "Is there really a chance of success with this kind of plan?"
Fan Yu glanced at the fox and teased, "Do you think it's just a straightforward frontal assault?"
"Is there any chance of sneaking in?" White Wolf narrowed his eyes. A direct attack had no chance of success; even though they were elite among elites, the enemy's superior equipment and numbers made a frontal confrontation utterly hopeless.
As for sneaking in, that was even more absurd. At this time, both the White House and the Pentagon had heightened security measures far beyond normal levels. Not only foreigners but even citizens were not allowed to approach these places too closely.

Elephant General thought for a moment before slowly nodding. "Alright, I'll follow orders, but I need to contact my superiors."
Fan Yu laughed heartily. "Aren't I your superior? I'm right here in front of you."
Elephant General shrugged. "The previous superior," he said, shoving his hands into his pockets as he prepared to step into the room to make a call.
"Where are you going?"
"To..." Elephant General's words were cut off by the fox, who smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "To the satellite station; I remember today's codebook."
"Huh?" Elephant General frowned slightly but deliberately turned his back to Fan Yu so he wouldn't see.
Fan Yu walked over with a smile and patted Elephant General's shoulder. "Right! I should be contacting my superiors since I've taken over your command now. Where did you put the satellite station? Take me there quickly."
Elephant General stared at Fan Yu in shock. Fan Yu immediately sensed something was off, but a hard object pressed against his temple left no doubt about what it was.
The others were equally startled; although they had some doubts about Fan Yu's intentions, the fox clearly aimed a gun at his head with lethal intent.
"He’s not here to relay any orders! He doesn’t even know who we report to now; how could he possibly be sent by our superiors?" The fox pressed the gun further against Fan Yu's head, forcing him to tilt his head awkwardly.
Fan Yu slowly raised his hands above his head, forcing a bitter smile as he looked at the crowd, words caught in his throat.
The Elephant General immediately disarmed Fan Yu, taking away a standard-issue 9mm pistol that clearly indicated something was off about him.
Seeing the gun taken away, Fan Yu became nonchalant; after all, he had no means to fight back now. He slumped down onto the sand, coldly observing his former students.
"Why?" White Wolf toyed with the standard-issue pistol, which was now issued to high-ranking American police officers and federal agents. Even though it was no longer a military weapon, it was still not something easily obtained. Each gun had a specific serial number and record, and during such times, it was nearly as difficult for a person with yellow skin to acquire one as it would be to rob a federal reserve.
Fan Yu lit another cigarette, exhaling smoke as he said, "What can I do? I was set up by someone else. Do you really think I’m the only spy who infiltrated the enemy successfully?"
His evasive answer led everyone to connect the dots. If their side had someone like Chen Rui embedded in the enemy's important departments, they certainly couldn't rule out the possibility that the enemy also had high-level spies infiltrating their ranks.

Tiger clenched his fists tightly, tears almost spilling from his eyes. "Shut up, you traitor!!!"
"Perhaps so, but under those conditions..."
A loud slap echoed through the air. Lion Brother lowered his head and struck Fan Yu's cheek with tremendous force. The impact made Fan Yu instinctively drop his cigarette as he rubbed the reddened area.
Lion Brother roared in anger, "Have you forgotten those oaths? You were the one who led us in that pledge! And now you’re the first to betray it."
Fan Yu slightly turned his head away, unable to bear looking at Lion Brother's furious face. Memories began to replay in his mind:

"I swear!" The instructor raised his right fist high and shouted loudly.
"I swear!" The six new Special Forces members raised their right hands in unison, their faces filled with pride as they followed the instructor's lead in taking the oath.
"I volunteer to join the Chinese 6th Army Special Forces, to obey the decisions of superiors, to follow Superior Orders, to strictly adhere to discipline, and to keep organizational secrets. I will dedicate myself to duty, life and death here. I am the sword of the motherland, the Shield of the people. I will dedicate my life and honor to the Party and the country, starting today, even in death there is no end!!!"
Though there were only six of them, the oath resonated like a solemn vow, echoing across the training ground for a long time.
Fan Yu sighed and looked at the six individuals seriously once more. "These are my final words; you must remember: spies should be at the upper levels of intelligence agencies. Your level of confidentiality is not as high as mine, and now the United States has already detected an invasion by special forces. As for more details, I do not know."
After speaking, Fan Yu quickly got up and rushed towards Elephant General, clearly intending to seize the pistol from his hand.
Fox swiftly disengaged the safety on his own pistol and resolutely pulled the trigger.

The door swung open, and an FBI agent stepped out. He pretended to close the door but didn’t shut it completely. The agent quickly walked back in and upon seeing Fan Yu lying on the ground, immediately reached for his weapon.
"Bang! Bang!" Another clean shot rang out; one bullet struck the left chest while another hit the abdomen. The FBI agent fell to the ground instantly, unable to draw his gun in time.
"What are you doing?" Elephant General shouted angrily.
Fox replied calmly, "Didn’t you see he was about to draw his gun?"
Elephant General pointed at Fan Yu, dumbfounded. "That was him! He was just pretending; you really shot him!!!"
"He has defected! He has betrayed us! Even if we trust him now, what use is it? He can never return home!" Tears streamed down Fox's handsome cheeks as he disregarded Elephant General and walked alone into the bedroom. He took out his phone and dialed a number.
Tiger quickly stepped outside and confirmed that the family across the street was not home before returning to close the door securely.
Chen Rui sat in a leather chair in his office, waiting for news from Xiong Kai.
"Something's wrong," Xiong Kai's voice came through, sounding a bit anxious. Chen Rui, relaxed, joked, "What happened? Did the plane crash into the terminal?"
Xiong Kai's tone was urgent. "That cross-dresser called your phone!"
Chen Rui paused for a moment and straightened up. "Which phone?"
"Of course, the one in reality!" Xiong Kai was almost sweating, frustrated that explaining this to Chen Rui had become so difficult.
Chen Rui frowned and asked, "No way, can someone really call from a dream to reality? Are you kidding me?"
"In theory, it's possible because this Dream World is a replica of the real world. Most information is the same, and communication methods use data transmission. So it is indeed feasible to make a call from a dream to reality, which aligns with design theory. Besides, there was no preparation beforehand; if it were a complete dream, this situation likely wouldn't have occurred."
A complete dream refers to when the Dual Machine's power is increased to fully activate the Dream World. Currently, it was mostly running trial operations continent by continent.
Chen Rui scratched his head; he hadn't considered that the fox would be so direct. This would only deepen his confusion. After making up his mind, Chen Rui said to the computer screen, "Can you transfer that call to me? Just connect it to my current phone!"
Xiong Kai nodded and began typing rapidly on the keyboard. After a few seconds, Chen Rui's phone in his pocket started ringing.
"It's been transferred; you handle it yourself," Xiong Kai said decisively before ending the call. The voice that had sounded like it was coming through headphones faded away.
Chen Rui pressed the answer button. There was silence on both ends for a long while until finally, a sigh came from the other side of the line. "Looks like I guessed correctly."
"Yes," Chen Rui replied coldly.
