The meeting was still held in the super conference hall on the middle floor of the Giant Tower. The First Floor was essentially filled with conference rooms, and the entire venue could comfortably accommodate four to five thousand people, which effectively addressed the broadcasting concerns, considering that there were only a little over two thousand actual attendees.
Chen Rui had not been disturbed by anyone in the past couple of days, which was not beyond his expectations. Although this was the hotel where Li Li and leaders from various countries resided, it was reasonable to assume that high-ranking officials would be somewhat wary of him. However, the absence of any suspicious individuals within sight over the three days surprised Chen Rui.
"Don't be surprised; they already know your situation, which is why they dare not act recklessly," Li Li said as she finished her milk from a crystal cup and smiled. "The meeting is about to start, and I can't accompany you out. You should return to your team."
"Okay." Chen Rui nodded and left the heavily guarded hotel. Just as Li Li had mentioned, it seemed that the government officials were well aware of his circumstances, which deterred them from taking any rash actions. The security personnel responsible for guarding the hotel and its surroundings ignored Chen Rui, who had no registered identity, likely following orders from above.
Instead of heading to his team's hotel, Chen Rui walked directly to the foot of the Giant Tower. Currently, two of the three supporting pillars of the Giant Tower had their high-speed elevators open to the public, while one appeared to be designated for freight transport. After all, helicopters carrying leaders could directly evacuate high-ranking officials from above.
The identities of internal personnel were backed up at the Central Hub, so Chen Rui gained entry permission through a fingerprint scan. Upon reaching the entrance of the conference hall, he had to undergo a second security check since some of the world's top figures would soon gather for the meeting. Chen Rui paused for a moment and tentatively asked, "Sorry, I didn't catch that. Which seat is mine?"
"Second row, number two," the officer replied patiently. "Please hurry; we're running out of time."
Once Chen Rui confirmed that his ears were functioning properly, he quickly made his way to sit in the second position of the second row. During this time, he noticed flashes going off continuously from the last row of the conference room; it seemed that reporters from various countries had entered early.
As Chen Rui settled into his seat and glanced at the table in front of him, he saw his nameplate: 'Pilot Phase Responsible Representative - China - Chen Rui.'
Not long after Chen Rui took his seat, most attendees arrived. Suddenly, the entire conference room fell silent; only the sounds of cameras clicking and flashes could be heard.

As before, they took their places in the front row; the previous twenty-seven seats had been increased to forty without feeling crowded at all. On the contrary, it created an atmosphere that made each leader seem more approachable.
Once everyone was present, the United Nations Secretary-General stepped onto the podium and announced, "The first meeting of this G40 summit officially begins. There are a total of 71 attendees present today with a theme: Dream World."
This term was unfamiliar to most people present at such a formal meeting; however, no one showed any signs of surprise. Even among reporters on the periphery, there was a calmness that suggested they had gathered plenty of information over recent days.
Next, representatives from the Dream World project, including the regional manager, technical department representative, pilot program representative, investor representative, and Dreamer representative, took turns explaining what this so-called Dream World is, its uses, and how it works.
The regional manager was from the United States, specifically Katie's direct superior—a middle-aged man in his forties. He spoke very efficiently, summarizing the overall concept of the dream world in the briefest terms.

The momentum of Dawn had remained strong over these years! If they were still expanding at the rate they were six or seven years ago, no private company in the world would even come close to matching half of Dawn's scale!
The Dreamer representative was also an insider—an official posing as a private enterprise CEO: Zhang Shi.
Among the five representatives for this world-class project, four were Chinese. This caused some dissatisfaction among many attendees; however, they had no grounds for complaint. In terms of investment, the two largest investors were Dawn Group and the People's Government; regarding scale, China's involvement far exceeded that of other countries; and concerning progress, many key issues had been prioritized and raised by the Chinese side. Thus, having so many Chinese representatives was quite normal.
Finally, it was time for the last speaker—the pilot program representative. Chen Rui set aside his prepared speech and smiled lightly as he said, "You all have introduced Dream World so thoroughly that following suit seems pointless. Instead, let me discuss what significance Dream World holds for humanity today!"
As Chen Rui spoke, the frequency of camera shutters from reporters noticeably increased compared to other representatives—almost rivaling that of national leaders entering the venue.
"As the pilot program representative, I am acutely aware of this project's significance for humanity. The proliferation of Dream World is not just necessary; it is inevitable. What we are doing is merely accelerating this process."
Without looking at his notes, Chen Rui spoke confidently based on his own insights because he understood that blindly following a path laid out by others would ultimately lead to falling into their traps.
"Dream World is also a kind of spiritual realm. Just as previously mentioned by the regional manager's representative, while spirituality may not be tangible, it certainly exists."
