——S.H.I.E.L.D.
Nick Fury paced around the office, the sound of his boots echoing against the alloy floor.
A minute ago, the Agent who reported to him had brought troubling news.
"Director, Thunder Lord has completely destroyed the New York Vampire Division!"
Upon hearing the report, Nick Fury was left speechless. Was the very thing he feared most happening right under his nose?
Was this preparation for war against the Vampire Clan?
As he pondered this, his phone on the desk vibrated, displaying a name that caught his attention.
He answered the call. "Coulson, do you have any new findings? Have you located the Cosmic Cube or Captain Steve?"
"Director, the mission was a complete success. Both the Cosmic Cube and Captain Steve are safe. We'll meet at headquarters in twelve hours!" Coulson's voice was filled with excitement.
Over a hundred years had passed, and his idol was still alive and well. When he saw it with his own eyes, he felt as if it were a joke from God.
"That's great, Coulson. I'll dispatch a team to pick you up. We must ensure the safety of both the Cosmic Cube and Captain Steve!" Upon hearing that the Cosmic Cube had been found, Nick Fury took a deep breath; this was the best news he had received in a while.
"Mission accomplished. We'll see you soon!" Coulson replied before hanging up.

With Vampire Girl's inquiry, everyone's gaze turned to Chen Fan.
"I don't know much about it. This thing seems to be a product from another world. As for why it's here?" Chen Fan scratched his head, looking frustrated. "Let's ask that dead nun later! Only she would know the origin of this thing!"
The one who possessed the Time Stone, Dormammu, had the ability to trace back time. If even she didn't know, Chen Fan couldn't think of anyone else who could answer his questions.
Even in the Marvel Universe, Chen Fan had never truly understood it. He could only rely on some memories from his past life to have a certain degree of foresight. Perhaps even Nick Fury, that Black Director, knew more than he did!
"Monsters from other worlds?" The crowd was shocked by Chen Fan's topic, feeling increasingly that this world was very strange.
"What's there to be surprised about!" Seeing their bewildered expressions, Chen Fan grinned. "Even in our world, there are several connected worlds. Otherwise, where do you think those gods and demons come from?"
"Are there really gods? And demons??" Big Boy had an expression of disbelief. He found it hard to accept the existence of beings like Chen Fan and Monster Teacher, and now he was confronted with even more difficult-to-accept entities.
"If we're talking about gods, one will be falling down soon. As for demons, there's a seal in the Himalayas, and it seems there's one inside. Otherwise, who would build a residence there!" Chen Fan didn't care how much impact this revelation had on everyone; after all, these Vibrant Goods would be coming out soon.
He felt that the arrival of Thor was imminent because the blood within him was slowly boiling.
Monster Teacher had long been aware of the existence of gods; its inner shock had already passed. Now what intrigued it was the monster before them, which piqued its curiosity far more than any vampire ever could.
"Chen Fan, what exactly is this thing?"
"This monster seems to be called Kabaneri, a product that shares origins with zombies. The transmission usually occurs through bites and scratches, and it poses no threat to you at all!" Chen Fan said cheerfully. With skin hardness fifteen times that of diamonds and a speed exceeding Mach 0, the abilities of this ridiculous Tentacle Monster were practically designed for survival.
As if sensing the presence of a living being, the Kabaneri confined in the monitoring room made of glass and alloy began to roar, repeatedly crashing against the glass. Unfortunately, this was special bulletproof glass; even a missile would not shatter it.
"This thing is pretty fast! It's not any worse than some athletes!" Big Bald Rob exclaimed, watching the lively corpse bounce around. He frowned slightly. "We need to notify the director quickly and have all departments monitor this to prevent any spread!"
A creature from another world triggered alarms in Rob's mind; after all, this thing could inflict significant harm on ordinary people! Not to mention its infectious nature!
"Vampire... where did you find this thing?" Chen Fan looked up at the Vampire Girl on his right. He couldn't believe that the appearance of Kabaneri was merely an accident.
"Not far from here, in a valley," the expressionless Vampire Girl replied. The crimson in her eyes had vanished, indicating she had given up resisting. "If this kind of monster can only infect targets through scratches or bites, then there's no need to worry about the virus spreading. When my clan discovered the first one in that valley, we took measures to seal it off."
"If there were any that slipped through before you discovered them..." Peter started but was silenced by a disdainful glare.
"If there were any loose ends, they wouldn't have gone unnoticed until now!" The Vampire Girl shot Peter a look that made Big Boy feel utterly frustrated; he couldn't overpower her and was also outsmarted. It was infuriating!
"Take me to that valley!" Chen Fan waved his hand, signaling Peter to quiet down for a moment.
Chen Fan was quite satisfied with his current life; he didn't want to wake up one day to find Kabaneri monsters all over the place.
However, before heading to their destination, Chen Fan felt compelled to report the news to Black Director under Big Baldy's resentful gaze.
...
Upon learning about the Cosmic Cube, Nick Fury felt invigorated. As long as the cube returned safely to S.H.I.E.L.D., that experiment could continue. If successful, it would fundamentally establish S.H.I.E.L.D.'s authority.
At that moment, anyone daring to cause trouble with Vibrant Goods would have to face the consequences, hmph!
Suddenly, the phone in his hand vibrated.
Finally, someone was calling him!
Looking at the name displayed, Nick Fury revealed a toothy grin as he answered the call. Just as he was about to vent his frustrations, a statement from the other end made his expression change drastically.
"Black Uncle... something big has happened!"
When Chen Fan said something big had happened, Nick Fury didn’t think it was a joke. The brat might be unreliable most of the time, but when serious matters arose, he was remarkably dependable.
"What happened?" Nick Fury's heart tightened, and his hand holding the phone began to shake. Even if an entire clan of vampires came seeking revenge, that wouldn’t be considered a big deal for Chen Fan.
"Do you know about zombies? I have a guy in front of me who resembles one of them!"
"Come over and take a look yourself, and also have someone seal off Maple Town on the outskirts of New York!"
