Watching the Island Nationer successfully attract everyone's attention, Chen Fan held a hint of coldness in his eyes as he waved to the siblings beside him, his gaze sharp. "You two will keep an eye on this guy from now on. I have only one condition: don't let him die!"
Chen Fan spoke in Mandarin, and only the siblings could understand him.
Aside from the ability to rewind time after dying, Lai Yueang was physically no better than an ordinary person. After witnessing Chen Fan's uniqueness and Tang Xin'er's combat prowess, he could only honestly submit.
Why target me? This was a question Lai Yueang couldn't comprehend.
"That thief ran toward the Slum!" Reinhardt said, which left the restrained Lai Yueang looking bewildered. "How do you know she's in the Slum?"
"I just received a Blessing that tracks her presence," was Reinhardt's response.
As for what a Blessing was? Lai Yueang looked completely confused; it was a term he couldn't grasp.
"This guy is like the world's favorite child; as long as he wants it, the world will grant him the corresponding Blessing!" explained Peter Parker, his tone dripping with unmasked jealousy.
The person in question awkwardly smiled and turned to say, " Lady Emilia, I'll go retrieve the badge right away!"
"I want to go too!" declared the Silver-Haired Girl without hesitation.
In the end, Chen Fan and his group also headed toward the Slum. It wasn't out of fear of losing a steady source of information; rather, Chen Fan wanted to gain a more detailed understanding of the intelligence in this world.
……
The Slum, regardless of which world it belonged to, represented the same meaning.
— A gathering place for the impoverished, essentially a residence for the poor.
As Chen Fan and his group arrived, an odd atmosphere instantly spread throughout the area. It was that kind of envy and resentment that poor people exude when they see wealthy individuals—
To such gazes, Chen Fan was no stranger, and neither were the Tang Siblings. Only the others couldn't understand, believing it stemmed from malice towards their arrival.
“Peter Parker… On the way here, many people looked at your daughter with strange expressions!” Chen Fan casually asked. Throughout the journey, whether they were Demihumans or humans, anyone of an intelligent race who saw the girl wore a look of disdain.
He couldn’t understand it.
Clearly, she had a noble status and was accompanied by a powerful pet, yet she received such treatment. The girl showed no anger or dissatisfaction; instead, her face was filled with sadness and disappointment, which made Chen Fan feel extremely uncomfortable.
Don’t strong individuals have dignity? Isn’t the authority of the strong not to be provoked?
Why could she tolerate such treatment?
…
Chen Fan’s words made Emilia shudder slightly, a hint of inferiority flashing across her stunning face.
The elf perched on the girl’s shoulder stroked her silver hair and turned around, speaking with a tone of self-mockery and sarcasm: “They are jealous that my daughter is so cute!”
This response made Chen Fan twitch his lips in disbelief. Fortunately, Emilia provided the correct explanation as she bit her lip: “Because I am a half-elf and have the same silver hair as the legendary Jealous Witch Satira.”
However, such a straightforward answer still left Chen Fan perplexed. He shook his head and decided not to pursue the topic further.
A heavy silence enveloped them as dusk fell under the setting sun—
“That thief’s presence is right here!” Reinhardt halted his steps. Before them stood a massive wooden house that exuded a sense of grandeur and sturdiness.
As everyone surveyed their surroundings, a loud crash echoed from within the house. The ground trembled as a giant burst through the broken wooden wall, holding a girl in his arms. Due to inertia, he rolled several times before finally coming to a stop.
“Ah… I didn’t expect so many people to come.” A seductive voice laced with a bloody undertone emerged from the shadows of the house, carrying an unsettling murderous intent.
Following that, a graceful figure stepped out from where the giant had smashed through the wooden wall. It was a woman whose crimson eyes gave off an ominous feeling.
Lai Yueang trembled all over, his face pale; it was this woman who had killed him twice.
The crowd's expressions shifted slightly, becoming more vigilant.
"I didn't expect there to be a vampire here!" Chen Fan narrowed his eyes, the dark purple in his gaze flickering with faint sparks.
The vampire race had already filled Chen Fan with disgust; it seemed there was no place free of them!
"Hunter Elsa, I didn't expect to encounter an important wanted criminal of the kingdom here!" Reinhardt stepped forward, shielding the others behind him. Facing the cold and lethal aura radiating from Elsa, he still wore a faint smile.
"I didn't expect it either!" Elsa licked her lips, her eyes filled with excitement. "Reinhardt, the kingdom's number one knight, I wonder what color your insides are. I'm so looking forward to it!"
"I really want to dissect you and see!"
Upon hearing the word "dissect," Lai Yueang's face turned green. He realized that both times he had been killed started from his abdomen. No wonder the other party had such a terrifying title—The Gut Hunter; it was quite fitting!
"Hey... can I have that vampire?" Chen Fan rolled his eyes amidst the crowd. Instead of wasting time with idle chatter, why not just take action? Was there any point in flattering each other?
Facing the puzzled gazes of the crowd, the boy stepped out and sneered. "That vampire... do you know Cain? By rights, he’s considered your vampire leader!"
Chen Fan was very curious about how Cain managed to develop the Vampire Clan across various worlds. If he could find a clue in this world, he might quickly return to the Marvel Universe.
At the moment he was betrayed, he had sensed a faint divine aura!
This incident of being betrayed was definitely related to the divine beings!
"Reinhardt... knight among knights, aren't you going to draw your sword?" Ignoring the boy's remarks, Elsa turned her gaze toward her formidable opponent, her rosy tongue brushing against her lips. "I'm really looking forward to the moment I cut open your belly!"
Meeting Elsa's crazed gaze, Reinhardt gently stroked his sword sheath and smiled calmly. "This sword will only be drawn when it's time to use it. Since the sheath hasn't reacted now, that means it's not yet time to use it."
After being ignored by the vampire, Chen Fan's already gloomy expression darkened even further, but Reinhardt's words made his cheeks twitch with irritation.
If the Vibrant Goods from the Marvel Universe knew about this kind of show-off behavior, they would probably kneel down and beg to be taught right away.
— Show-off like the wind, always by my side.
……
Elsa felt a deep sense of disdain; this basically meant that she was so pathetic that she didn't even have the right to make the other person draw their sword.
— It was infuriating!
Her gaze turned icy, and her crimson eyes gleamed as she glanced at the boy beside her, who wore a strange expression. Smiling seductively, she said, "Children should obediently hide behind adults. Once Big Sister takes care of this knight, I'll make sure to tie your intestines into a beautiful bow!"
"Hmph!" Chen Fan sneered, his dark purple eyes suddenly brightening. "Even your boss, Cain, wouldn't dare say something like that!"
After being ignored, then looked down upon, and finally provoked—

Happy National Day to everyone!!!
