Everything developed quite peacefully, and everyone took their time studying around the spaceship. 0

One day. 0

"Captain, good morning!" Yu Tian tidied up and Lin stumbled out, rubbing her sleepy eyes. 0

Seeing her beautiful face, Yu Tian decided to tease her a bit. 0

"What do you mean good morning? You've been sleeping for almost two days!" After saying this, Yu Tian chuckled to himself. For a girl, laziness was a major taboo, especially in front of someone she liked. It wasn't self-absorbed; everyone could tell she had feelings for him. 0

"What? I must look terrible!" Lin exclaimed nervously as she rushed toward the washroom, where her full set of gear awaited her. 0

"Who knows how long she'll take? Women!" Yu Tian sighed. 0

He was quite happy himself. "What a silly girl; who would laugh at you for looking ugly? In my heart, you’ve always…" He stopped his daydreaming and began working on his investigation report. 0

That night, although there was no sunlight, the night sky around the black hole was still beautiful. (Author's note: How can the night sky around a black hole be beautiful? The light from distant planets should be severely distorted by gravity; perhaps there are strange optical phenomena as well. But who cares? This is a fantasy novel; be bold with it! Besides, there's no evidence to contradict it.) 0

The three of them lay on the platform atop the spaceship, gazing up at the sky. 0

Their hearts flew back to their distant hometowns; only in such moments could they truly understand the pain of homesickness. 0

"Captain, does the night here compare to that of our hometown?" Lin rested her head on her hand, looking at Yu Tian with the eyes of a Water Spirit, looking stunningly beautiful. Especially with those rosy lips, he felt a stirring in his heart and an impulse to kiss her. 0

"This place is beautiful too, but I still think my hometown is a bit more beautiful! You are even more beautiful than this lovely night," Yu Tian said. Hearing his words, Lin blushed and turned her head away. 0

Yu Tian looked up at the sky, focusing on the stars that were faintly visible. There was no moon, but it was still beautiful. Even if there were large celestial bodies, they could not be called a moon. In an Earthling's heart, it was unique. The ancients could gaze at the moon and long for their hometown, but these people far from home could not even do that; it was too sad, and a wave of melancholy washed over him. 0

"Brother, when do you think we will go back? What if we can't return?" Yu Tian quietly listened to their conversation, feeling a bit lost and refraining from interjecting. 0

"We will definitely go back; it's just that it would be embarrassing to return without any achievements. I believe that once we complete our mission, the captain will safely bring us back," Hong said, falling silent afterward as he entrusted the matter to Yu Tian. 0

Yu Tian emerged from his thoughts. "We will return safely after completing our mission; we can't leave anyone behind." 0

Lin didn't respond this time; perhaps she was too shy! Or maybe for another reason. The surrounding silence returned, but it wasn't desolate. The night enveloped everyone like water, adding an indescribable feeling to the atmosphere. Each person had their own plans in mind, and for Yu Tian, that sense of pain surged again—he would refuse it with dreams... 0

At this point, I must announce that other characters will soon appear, and I feel a bit excited. My eyes really hurt; they feel swollen. The next day, Yu Tian opened his eyes, declaring that a night of nightmares had finally come to an end. 0

Hong had already left; only Lin remained sleeping beside him. Yu Tian sat up and found no one else there except himself and Lin. 0

He turned his head to quietly watch her in admiration. Her complexion was pale with a hint of color, and her red lips stirred an impulse within him to taste them. Lin's face occasionally broke into a smile; perhaps she was dreaming sweetly or had returned home! 0

"But am I in her dreams?" Yu Tian smiled bitterly as he stood up and walked toward the interior of the spaceship. 0

Somehow, Yu Tian felt that Lin was awake, but he still didn't turn back since he hadn't seen her stand up. 0

Lin soon woke up, staring blankly at the cabin door with joy and confusion filling her heart. She gently stood up and quietly walked down without Yu Tian noticing. 0

After walking through the corridor, she arrived at the cockpit, just as Yu Tian had expected—Hong was already hard at work. 0
"Hong, what new discoveries do you have?" Yu Tian slowly walked over. 0

"Captain, I analyzed the Beast Claw we brought back last time and found a peculiar creature. This is the basic reconstruction image," Hong said as he pulled up a three-dimensional portrait. 0

It was indeed a monster; its eyes were large, and its body was covered in green skin, resembling what I had seen in the cave that day. The creature's claws were sharp, and it had two pairs of long, pointed canine teeth, along with a pair of large ears that gave off an air of fear and threat. 0

"So this is what the monster looks like. Do you know its weaknesses? If I see it in the future, heh heh..." Yu Tian chuckled coldly. 0

"Captain, I haven't discovered any weaknesses yet." Hong poured cold water on him without hesitation. 0

"How can there be no findings with such good conditions?" Yu Tian didn't want to get angry, but seeing Hong so focused on work made him think it was impossible for him not to solve even this small problem. 0

"This isn't a technical issue; it seems this creature was born for battle. Its weaknesses are very hard to detect." Hearing this made Yu Tian's heart skip a beat. Could there be highly intelligent life forms on this planet? 0

Yesterday's dream was very vivid and quite different from usual. It seemed to tell a story about events happening around a black hole. Many people, numerous buildings, and wild beasts were engaged in combat with each other... 0

"Captain, what's wrong?" Hong noticed Yu Tian lost in thought and called him back to reality. 0

"Nothing much, just pondering some things," Yu Tian replied evasively. 0

"Captain, we haven't personally explored this planet yet. Why don't we go out for a stroll?" 0

"Alright!" Yu Tian thought it sounded like a good idea. 0

At that moment, Lin finished her preparations and walked out. 0

"Lin, you stay here and report any information to us. My brother and I have something to attend to." 0

"Alright!" Lin pouted and walked away. 0

Yu Tian and Hong each selected a spaceship, and moments later, the two flew off in opposite directions. 0

Sitting in the cockpit with a cup of espresso, Yu Tian listened to the system's report: 0

"All systems normal, energy levels sufficient..." 0

Yu Tian sat alone, gazing at the scenery. Since this was a survey mission, the spaceship was flying very slowly. Below him were vast fields and patches of grass, but animals were rarely spotted. Logically, such a system should struggle to support life, yet the plants around the black hole thrived abundantly. Yu Tian thought that this black hole must be hiding other secrets, but since the investigation was crucial, he didn’t linger any longer and continued forward. 0

He grew tired of the system's reports every ten minutes and was about to doze off when he was jolted awake by turbulence and an alarm from the system. 0

Yu Tian stared at the screen; nothing appeared amiss, yet the spaceship was indeed veering to one side. He intended to call for help from Lin on the Mother Ship, but the communication system had failed. It felt as if something had violently pulled the ship away. Then came a violent impact that threw Yu Tian against one side of the cockpit. He was tossed again, his head slamming hard against the wall. 0

The spaceship was completely incapacitated, reduced to a heap of scrap metal. Yu Tian struggled to regain his bearings, but his clothes were tattered, and his body was covered in scratches. He crawled out from under the wreckage, everything in disarray, including his communicator. 0

Yu Tian cursed inwardly: "Damn it! If I find out who did this, I won't rest until I tear them apart." Fortunately, years of martial arts training meant he wasn't in too much pain. 0

Turning around, Yu Tian stared blankly at the previously overlooked pyramid-shaped structure before him. 0

Why would there be a building here? It seemed certain that civilization existed. 0
