The air around him began to surge violently once more, but it quickly calmed down. The purple vines vanished, and his heart leaped with joy. However, Yu Tian did not see the blue energy sphere, and his heart sank again. Unintentionally, the mount, Black Dragon, lunged at him. A dragon claw pinned Yu Tian to the ground; his reaction was too slow. He wanted to struggle, but he couldn't muster any strength. Yu Tian's mental power was completely suppressed by Black Dragon, rendering him unable to cast even a small spell.
Resignation set in.
"Am I, the God of Black Holes, destined to die here?"
Yu Tian closed his eyes, the melodious hymns echoing in his ears as he began to accept the judgment of fate...
Yu Tian had lost the ability to resist and was waiting for the arrival of death.
With his eyes shut, he still heard a sound like energy tearing through the air.
"Come on! Father, Mother, I'm sorry," he thought as he awaited death when suddenly he heard a furious roar: "Stop!"
The fierce wind that approached him dissipated. It was S. Rikkichi who had arrived, riding atop a Demon Dragon that stretched over a hundred feet long, flying toward Hong Likqi. A wave of relief washed over Yu Tian; could there still be kin here? However, after hearing their conversation, Yu Tian fell silent.
"Father, why are you here?" Hong Likqi turned the Demon Dragon around and flew back.
"If I hadn't come, wouldn't you have killed him?" S. Rikkichi was enveloped in a swirling mass of black mist.
"What’s wrong with killing him?" Hong Likqi replied somewhat defiantly.
Yu Tian remained lying on the ground, pretending to be asleep while secretly focusing on their conversation.
"Killing him would mean we can't eliminate the remnants of the divine race!"
"Are there still warriors of the divine race?" Hong Likqi's heart jolted, and Yu Tian felt a similar shock. "Could there still be kin?"
Yet he remained still, lying quietly.
"There is also a Death Guard responsible for protecting their prince and several legendary elemental gods of the divine race. Be careful in your future endeavors!"
"Understood!" Hong Likqi followed S. Rikkichi as they flew away.
Once they were far off, Yu Tian stood up.
The sky returned to calmness. How beautiful it was.
Yu Tian soared into the air, gazing into the distance.
"Is there still a guard protecting me?"
Yu Tian opened his memories to reflect.
Suddenly, he recalled something: during a mission, when he found himself cornered, just as the enemy's ship was about to destroy his combat Eagle Claw. It was during the battle against the Poison Dragon organization. When Longsheng's joint fleet launched the ultimate nuclear strike, Eagle Claw was destined for destruction. But then, Longsheng's ships completely collapsed and exploded! He had thought it was other teammates who had helped him, but now that he thought about it, it didn't seem like that at all.
"If I get the chance, I must find them and revive the divine race together!" Yu Tian thought to himself.
As his excited heart calmed down, Yu Tian remembered Lin Saint Pua and flew toward the Mother Ship.
A flicker of blue light flashed on Yu Tian's forehead, and a golden seal of the King of the Gods, interwoven with lightning and flames, appeared. Yu Tian felt a wave of energy ripple through him; with a breath of introspection, he saw the golden seal on his forehead. The energy surged wildly within him, an invisible mission already resting upon his shoulders.
He advanced swiftly, feeling only a slight warmth from friction now and then.
Not far from the Mother Ship, Yu Tian descended and walked slowly toward it.
The spaceship was eerily quiet, devoid of any presence as Yu Tian stepped into the cockpit.
The main control panel was still active, waiting for commands, while the three seats remained empty.
“Lin, where are you?” His heart raced with worry, fearing something had happened to her.
Although S. Rikkichi was difficult to enter the divine realm, Hong Likqi could easily come and go.
He ran swiftly, searching for any sign of life within the spaceship.
Only Yu Tian's calls and hurried footsteps echoed in the silence; nothing else could be heard.
Yu Tian refrained from using magic, but he still couldn't find Lin.
Saint Puya Lin clung to the upper wall of the cockpit, tears welling in her eyes. Lin Saint Pua had made a grave mistake; she had believed Hong Likqi's lies without verifying them with her own abilities. This was one of life's weaknesses: a blind drive for revenge against those who harmed loved ones.
Though she hadn't lost her rationality, Lin Saint Pua was heartbroken. She couldn't bear to believe that the person she loved could be the one who killed her parents. She didn't want to choose between the two; it was too difficult!
Yet the debt of gratitude owed to her parents weighed heavily on her heart, which was torn in a fierce struggle.
Yu Tian searched every corner of the spaceship but still found no trace of Lin. He returned to the cockpit.
His worry was mounting. “Lin, where on earth are you?” he shouted loudly.
“I have to know where she is!” Yu Tian gritted his teeth in determination.
He began to gather magical energy, a small blue orb forming in his hand. Just as he prepared to release his magic, a drop of liquid fell onto his exposed neck.
He looked up and immediately spotted Lin Saint Pua above him, his heart leaping with joy. But then Yu Tian froze; an Atomic Beam Gun was aimed at his forehead, a small blue light dotting his brow.
Under the watchful gaze of Yu Tian, Lin Saint Pua slowly descended, shedding the equipment from her shoulders.
“Captain…” Lin's voice trembled slightly as she paused to wipe away the tears at the corners of her eyes.
“Lin, what’s wrong? Why are you avoiding me?” Yu Tian's puzzled eyes fixed on Lin Saint Pua, and time seemed to freeze in that moment.
After a long while, Lin Saint Pua's face twitched.
“Captain, weren’t we getting along well? Why did you have to kill my parents?” Hearing the accusatory tone in her voice, Yu Tian felt a wave of confusion wash over him.
Before he could open his mouth to explain, Saint Puya Lin continued, “Captain, I used to think you were a good person, but now I see it differently. When you asked me about my parents, I found it strange that you wanted me to be wary of my brother. Now I finally understand; you wanted us to turn against each other!” The more she spoke, the more agitated she became, her breathing quickening.
“Lin, please don’t get worked up. Can you clarify what you mean? I’m completely lost here!” Yu Tian seized a moment of silence to ask in bewilderment.
“Yu Tian!” Her loud cry made his heart skip a beat, and he noticed that the blue Crystal Garment had begun to emit a blue glow without him realizing it.
“Are you still pretending?” The Crystal Garment automatically formed a magical energy shield around him, but fearing that the atomic light from the Atomic Beam Gun might reflect and harm Lin, he secretly shattered the shield.
“Lin, let’s talk this out! Can you put down the gun?” Lin Saint Pua lowered her weapon slightly but still held it tightly in her hand.
“Fine, then what was that glowing sphere you just created?” Although Lin Saint Pua didn’t reveal the truth to Yu Tian, she was still furious about his deception.
“That was magic; you should know that!” Yu Tian lowered his head.
“Then tell me where you learned it!” Lin Saint Pua's voice lost its earlier intensity.
“I can’t tell you that…” Yu Tian's voice dropped to a whisper.
“Hey, if you don’t want me to find out, my brother has already told me that it was you who killed my parents. Before I lose my composure completely, you'd better leave.”
Yu Tian slowly lifted his head and looked at Lin Saint Pua. "Lin, do you not believe me..."
"Just go! Leave quickly..." Saint Puya Lin shouted.
Feeling an inexplicable surge of energy, Yu Tian had no choice but to step outside.
"Something must have happened to Lin!" Yu Tian thought as he walked.
He dragged his heavy legs out of the spaceship.
"Lin, I will let you know the truth. There will come a day!" Yu Tian resolved in his heart, pulling himself out of his earlier gloom. Although he had lost the last battle, he had learned how to unleash magic, and his mental strength had greatly improved.
Yu Tian circulated the magical energy within him, feeling a wave of comfort. The energy reserves inside him were far greater than before; he had become stronger.
"I will show you the true power of the God of Black Holes!" Yu Tian shouted loudly.
"Gale Technique!" As he recited the incantation, his body quickly spiraled upward, flying toward the place he envisioned in his mind.
After Yu Tian left, Lin Saint Pua collapsed, lying alongside her gun in the cockpit. Her eyes slowly closed, and with the encroaching darkness, her heart ached.
"Mother! Why must you make your children face such difficult choices?" A sorrowful voice echoed through the spaceship, drifting into the distance and stirring someone's heart.
