Yu Tian secretly infused a small amount of energy into Little Ru within this enclosed space. He knew he had to make the most of this limited energy.
He approached the vent and peered through the crack, seeing several stone towers just outside, where the purple light emanated from. He also noticed many Beast Soldiers transporting Energy Crystals to the towers.
The Dream Barrier had recovered, and not a single Energy Arrow remained; they had all dissipated. Would he be trapped in this small stone cave forever? A sense of despair began to creep in.
He started to realize that he had been too careless initially, which led him to this predicament. Without a significant replenishment of energy, casting magic would not only be futile but could also cost him his life.
Suddenly, a face appeared at the vent. Yu Tian didn’t hesitate and threw a punch, but it was blocked by an invisible barrier. Just as he had imagined, the Dream Barrier could resist not only magic but also physical attacks.
“Ha! You can’t hit me!” S. Rikkichi quickly transformed his smile into a scowl. His expression turned ferocious, like a starving wolf spotting its prey, darkening as he said, “Let you and your father reunite in death.”
“Father? Where is he?” Yu Tian shouted, unaware that death was creeping closer once again. The ground beneath him began to crack and slowly widened. S. Rikkichi's face had long disappeared, and debris from the vent blocked his escape. The ground suddenly gave way beneath him, leaving only falling stones and dust around him.
Yu Tian felt his sense of direction fading as his center of gravity shifted to one side. He had no idea how long he would continue to fall or how deep it was below. But the increasing speed forced him to take action, especially in this darkness where sand obscured his vision.
He didn’t disturb Little Ru but gathered energy beneath his shoulder blades while chanting, “Dragon Wings!” A pair of blue wings appeared on his back, spreading out with powerful energy that pushed away the falling debris and dust, forming an oval-shaped protective area around him. Seizing the moment, he leveled his body as the Crystal Garment automatically unfolded a protective wall around him, ensuring complete safety.
Many rocks struck the protective wall but immediately vanished without a trace.
After an unknown amount of time, Yu Tian saw a dark red glow below him, growing closer. He inhaled sharply; it was magma. As debris fell into it, they melted away instantly. Just then, he noticed a large space nearby—it seemed to be a platform. Without thinking twice, Yu Tian leaped onto the platform.
The temperature here was extremely high, and the air shimmered with a reddish glow. "We might be getting close to the core of Kadar Star!"
Yu Tian took a deep breath, feeling the Magic Element in the area was very active. He sat down and began to meditate. The sensation of energy surging into his body was exhilarating! Little Ru also awakened from its slumber, replenishing its energy.
The sand and gravel quickly settled, completely filling part of the magma. Perhaps due to the unstable crust, a large rock suddenly fell. The platform shook a few times, and Yu Tian emitted a glowing orb of light. He noticed that the rock had blocked the lava tunnel. He felt relieved as the temperature stabilized.
Once he entered a complete meditative state, the surroundings returned to an eerie silence. At that moment, deep underground, there was only a faint beam of white light...
In reality, the Dream Barrier was not as impenetrable as he had thought. It was simply locked in a planar configuration, meaning that three energy walls were enough to confine living beings. As long as there was something with immense energy, it could break through. What awaited revelation was just a matter of time. Little Ru did not inform its elder brother, not out of deception, but because it felt they were not strong enough yet to break free. If Yu Tian insisted on trying, he might suffer an energy backlash that could even lead to his soul being transformed by the energy. This was something Little Ru did not want to see, and based on its intuition, it sensed that the time had not yet come.
