In the previous chapter, Yu Tian discovered the "Divine Soul Pearl," a manifestation of his father's energy and soul. With its power, could Yu Tian break the barrier? At the same time, another secret about his lineage was about to be revealed... 0

Yu Tian's heart grew heavier, the pain returning to engulf his body, leaving him with nothing but despair, loneliness, and tears. His father had died to save him and his mother. Yet, he felt he had failed too much! 0

Time dragged on in this state, stretching what felt like an eternity before he finally emerged from his sorrow. 0

His tears had dried, and his voice was hoarse. He forced a bitter smile as he stood up. Channeling energy into the "Divine Soul Pearl," he pressed it against the "Dream Barrier." A powerful backlash jolted through his hand, causing him pain. 0

He had made up his mind; since his father had sealed his soul to allow him to escape, he would not let him down again. As the King of the Gods, he would give everything to rise to that title, striving for revival and peace for Heavenly Kadar. 0

In an instant, the "Divine Soul Pearl" adhered to the "Dream Barrier," and he released it, stepping back. 0

The originally colorless and transparent surface of the "Divine Soul Pearl" emitted a blue light that grew brighter and filled the entire cave. A sound like a landslide echoed as Yu Tian approached; the "Divine Soul Pearl" created a large hole in the "Dream Barrier." 0

"This is wonderful, but my father...!" He hesitated no longer and stepped through the "Dream Barrier." Outside was a large hole that slanted upward toward the surface, created by the "Divine Soul Pearl." 0

He stepped forward, resolutely making his way out. 0

Inside the Demon Palace. 0

"Father, are you hiding something from me?" Hong Likqi quietly entered through a side door behind S. Rikkichi. 0

"Have you taken care of everything?" S. Rikkichi remained still, gazing at the Demon King Statue inside the room, deliberately changing the subject. He understood that besides healing, the Holy Maidens possessed extraordinary foresight. 0

"The Saintess has been captured. I want to ask you, are you hiding something about my mother from me?" Hong Likqi asked, raising his voice deliberately, having forgotten their last conversation. 0

"Who have you been listening to?" S. Rikkichi turned his head, glaring angrily at his son. In truth, he felt a sense of relief at his son's return. S. Rikkichi had many sons, but all had perished—some due to extreme deformities, others from illness at an early age, and some stubbornly left and never returned. Although he sensed his own energy beginning to dissipate, he did not want his dream of domination to shatter. He still had Hong to fulfill his wishes, so he needed to make Hong cold and ruthless. 0

"I want to know if I have any connection with Kada, the God King, the former captain," Hong Likqi boldly asked without fear. 0

"There is no relation. The Demon King is about to be resurrected; you should focus on this important matter!" S. Rikkichi's heart trembled internally, but he concealed it from Hong. With a flicker of movement, he vanished, leaving Hong Likqi alone in the dim palace. 0

The Demon Palace was vast, and now with only Hong Likqi present, it felt desolate. He gazed at his mother's pale face and murmured, "Mother, what should I do? Do you know the answer?" 0

Meanwhile, S. Rikkichi floated atop a tall tower outside the village, conflicted as he looked up at the sky and down at his subjects. 0

"What should I do? The Demon King..." There was no answer, only the echo of existence surrounding him. 0

It was not silence but an unknown bond. 0

On the side of the Demon God Barrier in the demon realm. 0

"Prepare to attack! Charge into the divine realm!" S. Rikkichi commanded from atop a massive Black Dragon, directing the Demon Beast Army. The tide of beasts surged toward the Demon God Barrier. 0

Years ago, the beasts had entered the divine realm when the barrier's energy weakened. This time, they aimed to locate the temple, seize artifacts, and gather materials. 0

However, Hong Likqi did not inform his father that breaking through the barrier was no longer so easy. Yet the torrent of beasts relentlessly charged toward it. 0

This time it was because the demon realm sought to establish vast forests and build better wooden houses. Under Hong Likqi's command, most of the saplings they planted had survived. Thus, they needed a large quantity of tree species and timber. 0

The beasts, with their innate resistance to Magical Energy and strong physiques, caused significant chaos to the barrier. However, there were no signs of it breaking. 0

At this moment, S. Rikkichi was feeling a bit impatient. He didn't think it was necessary to invest so many soldiers and slaves into what he considered construction. However, Hong Likqi was his son, and his only son at that. He couldn't refuse his request, especially since he had promised the Demon Elder that after awakening the Demon God, he would pass the throne to his son. It was necessary for him to establish some authority. 0

So, although he felt uncomfortable inside, he wore a smile on his face that he believed to be radiant, while others saw it as terrifying—a twisted grin. 0

S. Rikkichi awakened the Demon Dragon and flew toward the other side of the team. Over there were the Demon Slaves. As a king, he had experienced their lives. If not for his status, he might have gone to help them; instead, he was here to urge them on. 0

His capable assistant, Blazing Beast, spread his wings and flew towards S. Rikkichi. His fiery red body shone brilliantly under the glow of the barrier's energy. 0

"Your Majesty! Our attacks aren't having much effect at all! What should we do?" Blazing Beast landed beside the Demon Dragon. The Dragon King was always sensitive to temperature. Blazing Beast belonged to the fire tribe and lived in rare volcanic craters or lava zones. Although magical beasts lacked talent for learning magic, their dense environment of fire elements allowed them to cultivate their abilities quite well. 0

The Demon Dragon clan lived in ice caves; thus, they were incompatible with heat. If it weren't for S. Rikkichi valuing him so much, the Dragon King would have already unleashed an energy attack or simply devoured Blazing Beast. 0

"Don't worry; let them continue attacking," S. Rikkichi said as he looked toward Hong. "My son has created some machines; let the Demon Slaves cause some destruction first..." 0

"Understood!!!" Blazing Beast replied, his words infused with high-temperature energy. The Dragon King shook irritably a few times and flicked his massive tail. 0

What kind of machine could it be? It will be revealed in the next chapter. This is the first time Hong has combined technology and magic to create a powerful machine—just how formidable is it? 0

Everyone enjoy the New Year; updates will resume on the 19th after a ten-day break... 0
