Little Ru was caught off guard by the sudden appearance of Slicky, losing a significant amount of energy, while Yu Tian, unable to withstand the opponent, had no choice but to escape.
With a whoosh that tore through space and time, Yu Tian reappeared inside the Mother Ship.
The time ship of New Century was no flimsy creation. With such a powerful backing, Yu Tian couldn't help but smile with pride.
"It’s time for you barbarians to witness Earth Technology!" he declared as he took his seat at the control panel.
After checking the ship's equipment, he found it quite satisfactory.
Moreover, there were five Tritium Bombs and three hundred laser rounds, enough energy to sustain atomic beam firing for ten hours. The ship's maneuvering energy was at 50%, and there were about thirty various robots onboard, along with ten small ships...
Yu Tian figured that Slicky wouldn’t be able to breach their defenses anytime soon, so he launched a Probe Satellite and three Resource Satellites.
In less than ten minutes of scanning, Yu Tian grasped most of the external situation in the Divine Realm. At the location of the temple, there was a dark mass primarily composed of magical beasts, with Slicky darting around. He opened the Resource Satellite and let the computer generate a Resource Distribution Map, pinpointing a resource-rich area to which he flew.
A little over a minute later, Yu Tian arrived safely at his destination.
After spending another minute reprogramming the robots, they began their work.
He then sat down and retrieved the thick Stone Book—The Divine Canon—from Dimensional Space. Although he had skimmed through it several times before, there were still many parts he hadn’t fully absorbed. This time, he intended to study it thoroughly and learn more magic.
As for that mysterious staff, Yu Tian still had no way to handle it, but what did it matter? Even though Little Ru had failed, he still had time to practice more advanced magic, supported by the entire ship.
The robots worked diligently—
Yu Tian also focused intently on reviewing his magic—
"Damn it, he actually learned the Spatial Teleportation Array!" Slicky searched through the Demon Realm, "Where could he have run off to?"
Slicky leaped into the air, heading towards the Demon God Barrier.
The crack in the barrier was still guarded by thousands of magical beasts, so it had not been repaired yet. Upon seeing their king arrive, the beasts paid their respects.
"Greetings, King!" They all made way for him.
Slicky walked forward and flew towards the temple.
Before long, he reached the temple and saw many magical beasts waiting outside. As soon as they spotted Slicky, everyone turned their heads.
"King, we discovered a hidden chamber, but the door won't open!" a Tiger Beast approached him.
"Take me to see it!" Slicky replied as he moved ahead, with the Tiger Beast following closely behind.
They quickly arrived at the entrance of the hidden chamber.
Slicky called out to the magical beasts gathered by the wall and stepped forward himself.
"Kado Divine Eye, penetrate!" Slicky chanted the penetrating spell.
A beam of purple light shot from his forehead and illuminated the wall. The wall emitted a crackling sound, but no holes or gaps appeared. Instead, a faint blue glow emerged, blocking the destructive power of his spell.
"What on earth is this? Let's head back for now!" Slicky commanded as he turned to leave.
The magical beasts quickly dispersed back into the Demon Realm, and the temple returned to its former tranquility.
Slicky passed through the Demon God Barrier and headed straight for his palace. After their recent reunion, he couldn't help but worry about his son. He knew he couldn't live forever and hoped his son would succeed him in accomplishing many great undertakings.
Having expended a lot of energy, Slicky landed outside the side hall. He sensed two powerful presences; one was relatively weak but was persistently fluctuating.
Pushing open the door, Slicky strode inside. He passed through the reception hall and then a small garden, walking along the corridor that led to the bedroom. As he stepped into the room, a sudden idea struck him.
Having obtained the Saint's blood and currently in the process of purification, the Saint had little use now but could serve as bait. As he pondered this, strange insects occasionally jumped onto him, which he shook off his shoulders. The demon realm was not very peaceful; it was divided among many factions, all nominally under his control. However, Slicky knew they were merely seeking a balance. Once several Magic Saints from Lost Forest emerged, it would undoubtedly cause a significant uproar.
The hierarchy within Kadar Planet was as follows:
“Mage”
“Intermediate Mage”
“Advanced Mage”
“Magic Trainer”
“Magical Deputy”
“Necromancer”
“Magic Saint”
“Magic Father”
“Demon King of Magic.”
There were ten levels in total, each further divided into upper, middle, and lower tiers.
Slicky had only reached the intermediate stage of Magical Deputy, and breaking through to the advanced stage was quite challenging. Thus, his dream of unifying the demon realm had yet to be realized; he still could not initiate war for fear that the other dozen small nations would unite against him. For this reason, he had to rely on resurrecting the Demon King and harnessing its power to achieve unity and destroy the Demon God Barrier, aiming to unify the entire planet—
He had arrived at the bedside, where a cold Crystal bed emitted a faint glow. An elderly man in a purple-black robe was casting healing magic on Hongrilkqi. The old man quickly sensed that his king had arrived.
"Moonlight!" A radiant light enveloped Hongrilkqi in an instant as the healer turned to bow to his king. Streams of light were autonomously healing Hongrilkqi's wounds.
"What happened to the prince?" Slicky stepped forward to his son's bedside, moving past the healer who had made way for him.
At that moment, Hongrilkqi showed no signs of his usual dominance; the energy within him fluctuated unpredictably. His black armor and cloak were in tatters, and the battle boots he had gifted his son were cracked. A flicker of Red Glow flashed in Slicky's eyes but was quickly suppressed.
"The situation is much better now. Under my subordinate's healing, he has improved significantly since he was brought in," the healer said, but suddenly his voice trailed off.
"What else is there?" Slicky turned around, his eyes commanding. "Speak freely!"
"I believe Young Master has an unawakened energy within him."
"Is that true?" Slicky's eyes lit up; this would make his plans much easier.
Seeing that the healer did not respond further, Slicky did not blame him. "Focus on healing my son! I leave it in your hands!"
The healer continued his work at the bedside without flattery.
Slicky strode out of the room and called in a certain direction, "Bring our saintess to my garden to wait for me!"
