In the previous chapter, Yu Tian did not shy away from the unicorn's front but charged directly at it. This was indeed a wise choice; sometimes, if we choose to evade, we may end up failing. Conversely, when we decide to confront challenges head-on, miracles often occur.
As ordinary humans, we must learn to face our fears rather than choose to escape. Otherwise, we will remain in a passive state with no opportunities for progress.
Using the air resistance, Yu Tian propelled himself upward with all his might.
He quickly reached the giant tail, stepping on it for leverage as he surged toward the unicorn's eye.
Then, he kicked fiercely.
With a few flips and spins, the force of his attack grew stronger, and it seemed he was about to make contact.
However, just as he was about to reach its eye, the unicorn closed that eye and clamped down on Yu Tian's leg.
"I must defeat it; this is the first step in saving Lin!" Yu Tian silently vowed.
Before the unicorn's claws could grasp him, he concentrated the water element from the unicorn's eye through his foot.
"Master of all living things, gather your water element! In the face of this evil before me, resist with your omnipotent form! Universal Ice Arrow!"
Yu Tian directed the concentrated energy toward the unicorn's eyeball with sheer willpower.
"Roar..." The unicorn let out a pained howl and opened its eyelid.
Yu Tian kicked the unicorn's eye, using the recoil to propel himself backward.
Before he had fully landed, a scream erupted behind him.
After rolling on the ground a few times, Yu Tian managed to stabilize himself and stand up.
The unicorn retracted its paw and began rubbing its eyes.
Yu Tian looked up and saw the thrashing unicorn, a faint smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.
It seemed the unicorn was seriously injured. Yu Tian pushed off the ground with his hands and suddenly twisted, launching himself forward.
He couldn't give it a chance to retaliate—
Recalling his reaction training back on Earth, Yu Tian felt immensely grateful.
In just a few leaps, he reached the front of the unicorn.
It was still rubbing its eyes; at that moment, this magical beast likely had little awareness of combat!
Time was of the essence. Yu Tian sprang upward, landing on the unicorn's horn.
Then he leaped diagonally backward, rolling forward to deliver a heavy blow to that sharp horn. By the time a large paw came crashing down, he had already jumped away.
Upon landing on the unicorn, he discovered a small hole. He stepped inside and after a while, encountered a semi-transparent barrier blocking his path. Yu Tian tapped it with his hand; it moved in response.
However, the hole began to shake violently.
The hole that could barely accommodate a person shrank slightly once again.
"Perhaps this is the eardrum of the unicorn!" Yu Tian exclaimed as he threw a long punch and then kicked it several times with force.
Sure enough, the "hole" began to shake, and a few screams echoed back.
If it weren't for the protective shield, his ears would have suffered greatly.
Yu Tian raised both hands, continuously gathering energy before striking at the unicorn's eardrum.
The transparent object vibrated a few times before shattering.
A piercing, shrill roar erupted, and Yu Tian quickly darted out of the hole.
As he landed on the ground, waves of nausea washed over him. He saw a stream of purplish-red liquid flowing from the ear hole, seemingly "Beast Blood."
To his surprise, the unicorn was slowly shrinking, and two monsters appeared in his line of sight—one of them was a Two-Headed Serpent.
Yu Tian was startled but quickly dodged out of the way.
It seemed it was time for a showdown with his arch-nemesis.
