Yu Tian smiled to himself, thinking, "Doing these boring things and still saying 'let's make it cheap'!" However, in order to complete the task and leave this place as soon as possible, he quickly got to work.
He crafted a chair using vines and large petals, made a table, and created many small objects—all designed by the computer based on the size of the room and the materials Yu Tian had inputted: only wood and various grasses and flowers.
Finally, he completed everything according to the design. By this time, Yu Tian was drenched in sweat. It was no surprise; such tedious work, without the use of magic, was certainly exhausting. Meanwhile, that little water spirit had wandered off somewhere to play, not helping his big brother at all. He really didn't know how to be a good little brother.
Feeling overheated, Yu Tian hurriedly used "Water Fire"—no! "Cosmic Pearl" to cool down. Upon arriving in the Earth Elemental Realm, he discovered that this fused pearl could utilize different abilities. Right now, he had summoned the power of the Water Elemental Pearl to bring himself some relief with its inherent water properties.
At that moment, the Earth Elemental God appeared and said, "Not bad at all!"
Looking at the old man's silly grin, Yu Tian could only manage a weak smile in response.
The Earth Spirit looked at Yu Tian and asked, "What are you so happy about? I wasn't talking about you! I meant that the design is good." This Earth Elemental God was quite stingy; wasn't he subtly criticizing Yu Tian for not designing it himself?
Feeling a bit embarrassed, Yu Tian replied with a smile, "But I did make it myself!" As he spoke, he demonstrated various functions of the small objects using magic. The Earth Elemental God was delighted. Items like rocking chairs and small magically powered fans were things the Earth Spirit had never seen before.
Despite his tendency to forget reality easily, this little old man quickly found his sense of duty.
"Enough arguing; let's officially begin!" The Earth Elemental God tossed the flower crown in his hand into the air, creating an energy barrier. "You must use your wits to break through it! This is a test of your intelligence; remember to think and not rely on that noisy thing—your computer!"
With that, he withdrew the flower crown and vanished in an instant. This fellow truly appeared and disappeared like a ghost! Yu Tian couldn't help but think that if he learned this trick, sneaking around would become much easier. Even if he couldn't win head-on, he could still launch surprise attacks. But soon after this thought crossed his mind, he felt ashamed; that wasn't how a true warrior should behave.
Yu Tian quickly emerged from his mental storm, taking a deep breath as he confidently stepped forward.
He reached out to touch the energy barrier, finding it surprisingly soft and resilient. It seemed not too difficult to deal with, but was his judgment correct? A strong human might mistakenly believe that something gentle could be easily managed.
Before long, a powerful force attempted to absorb Yu Tian's energy, startling him enough to retract his hand in haste.
He circled the wreath thoughtfully for a moment before summoning Little Ru from within himself, slowly infusing it with energy.
From the tip of his staff, the Six-Star Platform, a massive dragon roared forth. Yu Tian took a few steps back as the barrier of the Cosmic Pearl activated automatically. This was the powerful Azure Demon Dragon, reassembled based on his own Mind Dragon under the guidance of the Water Elemental Pearl. Under Yu Tian's mental control, it circled around the hut. The blue light illuminated the entire shelter like daylight; it was truly an energy-rich Divine Dragon!
Initially, Yu Tian worried that this enormous energy dragon would break the hut of the Earth Elemental God, but upon seeing that the hut could expand on its own, he finally relaxed. Thus, he directed the Azure Demon Dragon to charge at the energy barrier with a mighty roar, but soon fell silent. The energy of the Azure Demon Dragon was completely dissolved and absorbed. The barrier glowed even brighter; it seemed a direct confrontation was futile.
Yu Tian was astonished; although this was his first time using this magic, he hadn't expected it to be so easily defeated. He began to regard the small wreath with seriousness.
"‘Everything has its pros and cons,’" he recalled from the opening lines of the Divine Canon. "There must be some truth to that!" Taking a step closer, he reached out again but quickly withdrew his hand. An even more powerful surge of energy struck him like lightning, undoubtedly having absorbed the energy of the Azure Demon Dragon, thus strengthening the magical barrier further.
Trying to gather a pure magical energy, Yu Tian threw this pure energy sphere outward. However, it met the same fate as the Azure Demon Dragon, being absorbed without a trace. It seemed that resistance wasn't due to energy purity!
"I can't even touch it; how am I supposed to study it?" Sitting down on his makeshift chair, he fell into contemplation. "I need to finish everything soon; Lin might not be able to wait. But what should I do?"
This truly troubled Yu Tian. Typically, energy barriers would shatter under continuous attacks due to their inability to sustain themselves, yet this wreath could convert attacking energy into its own to enhance its protective capabilities—truly remarkable…
Just then, a voice broke through his thoughts: "Aow…" It was Shui Er's voice. Instantly distracted, Yu Tian felt a flicker of irritation at this interruption during such a critical moment.
Shui Er rushed in, leaping onto Yu Tian. He quickly jumped up, shaking off Shui Er's wet tongue. Looking down at her appearance, Yu Tian noticed something different about Shui Er.
It turned out that she was wearing a flower crown on her head, with a stick sticking out of it. What a mischievous little thing! Yu Tian couldn't help but exclaim. But suddenly, his eyes lit up, and he shouted:
"That's right! How did I not think of this?"
His gaze fixed on the small stick atop Shui Er's head, he joyfully said, "Shui Er! Bring me some dry wood!"
"Energy? I'll just burn you instead! Although the energy barrier can block many things, it can't stop lifeless objects that don't leak any energy!" A smile spread across Yu Tian's face. "Nothing can challenge me!"
Of course, Shui Er was still very obedient to her big brother. Perhaps she felt a bit guilty for leaving him behind to play by herself. Without saying a word, she quickly turned around and dashed out of the shed.
