All members of the Dream Seeker II have been fully awakened, and after getting to know each other, they transitioned into their normal lives. The Vast Universe, such a large spaceship, still seemed like a drop in the ocean. The entire ship was strictly controlled in size; otherwise, it would consume more energy. The longest part measured only three hundred meters, the widest part one hundred meters, and its height was merely eighty meters. Although the ship was not very large, it was equipped with leisure areas, workspaces, and research zones. Additionally, there were many undisclosed experimental weapons and instruments on board. This journey was not only about studying black holes but also carried the mission of exploring the universe.
The massive ship glided freely among clusters of stars, its ultra-precise navigation system ensuring that the Dream Seeker would not be struck by a small meteorite. Under the influence of a simulated gravity field, everything inside was orderly arranged. As long as one stayed inside and closed all doors and windows connecting to the outside world, they would not feel as if they were in space at all.
Moreover, the entire exterior of the ship was surrounded by a thick magnetic field protection zone and an energy field protection zone. Any object posing a threat to the ship would be detected by continuously operating radar systems. Numerous mechanical arms would then handle these threats or directly dismantle them using external atomic beams.
One could say this was an indestructible ship, but what would happen when faced with magic? The people inside would remain unaware for now...
“Captain! We are only one hundred thirty million kilometers from the black hole; we should arrive in just a few minutes!”
Pilot Fan Qing reported the situation to Reynold, who was resting. Upon hearing this, Reynold immediately replied, “Gather all team members in the cockpit quickly! Move fast!”
As he spoke, he stood up and removed his headset. Looking outside the cabin, he noticed that the originally dazzling starry sky began to show brief pauses—this indicated that the ship had entered deceleration mode. He quickly put on his uniform and rushed toward the cockpit.
This cockpit served not only as a control room for pilots but also functioned as a conference room. A large metal table here could double as a dining table, and all seats were movable. Discussions were convenient here, and everyone enjoyed chatting or heading to leisure areas together.
Initially quite boring, everyone was either playing ball or video games in the entertainment area; some were swimming in a small pool or exercising on treadmills. Of course, every so often someone would randomly be chosen to go to the cockpit to check and announce information about the ship.
Fan Qing's image appeared on the simulator throughout the ship, followed by an announcement of their imminent descent. Upon hearing the call to gather, everyone quickly assembled without hesitation; their military backgrounds shone through as they lined up neatly in the cockpit, awaiting further instructions.
Reynold returned from the farthest resting chamber and opened the door to see the neatly arranged team. He was initially surprised but quickly adopted a serious demeanor while feeling pleased inside. With such well-disciplined crew members, he believed they could safely return everyone back to the Galaxy System... This had been his small request since the ship's launch. At that time, even all scientists could not detect any signs of life on that black hole planet; thus, their mission assigned to Reynold was to explore resources while minimizing natural disasters as much as possible.
"Very well... our characters are about to begin. Is everyone ready?" Reynold cleared his throat and asked loudly. Aside from Fan Qing and Wenke, who were still preparing for the spaceship's landing, the members of the Anti-Violence Squad and CBR Group stood straight.
"We're ready..." everyone replied in unison, but their hearts didn't quite agree.
In fact, just as Fan Qing's notification had sounded, Sward had complained, "Why so early or so late!" At that moment, he was comfortably soaking in an artificial hot spring, feeling a bit disgruntled. However, orders were everything, so he hurriedly put on his jacket, being careful to protect himself while standing. Otherwise, if it were discovered that he wasn't wearing any underwear, he would surely become a laughingstock.
After just saying "ready..." Little Knife still wore a bitter expression, his mouth continuously mumbling.
"Little Knife, stop whining! We'll be at the black hole soon. If we finish the mission early, we can go home sooner. What's wrong with that?" Reynold walked over and patted him on the shoulder, giving him an encouraging look.
Upon hearing this, Sward obediently stepped aside.
Meanwhile, Lan Liu and Sain were yawning incessantly, stretching their bodies repeatedly. It seemed these two were still deeply engrossed in their games, which Little Knife quickly noticed and teased:
"Hey? Our beautiful lady is yawning? The sun must be rising from the west! Have you been playing that old brick-breaking game all day or some other silly game?" Little Knife squinted as if looking at a bunch of fools.
"Don't get too smug; look at you! Aren't you wearing much? Don't tell me you're hanging out with nothing on!" Lan Liu had no intention of being shy and deliberately said it loudly, ignoring the captain's presence as she walked over to Little Knife to pull open his shirt for inspection.
Sward might have been stunned or perhaps too embarrassed; he didn't even notice Lan Liu's attack. In an instant, his team uniform was pulled down by Lan Liu's delicate hands, revealing a pair of modest pecs. It wasn't until everyone looked at him with cool expressions that Little Knife realized something was off. He then saw Lan Liu standing right in front of him, her hands seemingly moving downward.
"Stop... Captain, oh no, esteemed Captain, this damn girl is taking advantage of me; everyone must bear witness!" Little Knife hurriedly reached out to block Lan Liu's hand and quickly pulled up his uniform while turning his body away.
"What? This lady is taking advantage of you? Look at your pathetic self!" Lan Liu shook her hand and returned to her position, casting a glance at Little Knife with an indifferent expression.
"I..." Little Knife's face turned red with embarrassment as he hurriedly sought help from everyone.
The others, witnessing the antics of these two rivals, were completely immersed in the joy of the moment, ignoring his plea for assistance.
"Alright, alright! Have you two argued enough? Everyone, quiet down! We only have a few moments left before landing!" Reynold had no choice but to intervene as the captain. Deep down, he found it amusing; having these two teammates around would surely make things lively in the future.
At that moment, mechanical announcements echoed around the spaceship:
"Entering the final sixty seconds countdown!

58...
..."
"Captain, we've detected numerous life forms near the black hole. It seems their intelligence is quite high as well!" Suddenly, many moving objects appeared within the effective range of the radar, and they were moving in a remarkably orderly fashion.
Wenke immediately reported this information to Captain Reynold...
