The only things that accompanied the emergence of the Solar Nuke were death and destruction. This weapon was prohibited in Interstellar Combat and had been designated for complete destruction by the Cosmic Security Association a century ago. The batch they brought out should be the last one, and it was clear why; its power was beyond what ordinary protective equipment could withstand.
Of course, Hong Lickqi was unaware of all this. When he set out, he had not invented such a terrifying weapon. Its explosive yield was equivalent to that of an entire sun!

The enormous serpent's tongue flicked in and out as it prepared to devour the Dream Seeker II. Surrounding it was a swirling purple mist, with flashes of lightning and flowing light barely visible within. The purple clouds were energy summoned from the demon realm; although the atmosphere of the divine realm was exchanging with that of the demon realm, it still wasn't ideal for a being from the demon realm to fully unleash its power here.
In the cockpit, Lan Liu watched this scene unfold on the large screen, his face pale as if made of flour, devoid of any color. Meanwhile, on the ground, Xiao Dao made a gagging expression, and Fan Qing and others were covered in goosebumps.
"What kind of monster is this? Not only can it fly, but it also has a snake-like body! What's worse is how enormous and disgusting it is..." Lan Liu could hardly bear to look away and turned his head to curse loudly.
"I should make use of it!" Hong Lickqi's desire surged instantly as he fantasized about possessing such an advanced spaceship and utilizing it...
Lost in thought, he nearly overlooked the external attacks. However, Lan Liu, irritated by the giant serpent, fired numerous laser cannons directly at Hong Lickqi's side, jolting the Young Master out of his daydream.
"Damn it! You're giving me extra trouble; I'll show you some colors!" Hong Lickqi roared as a purple light flashed in his eyes. Instantly, the clouds churned violently as dozens of active purple bolts leaped forth, striking against the protective barrier of Dream Seeker II.
That was the full-force strike of Hong Lickqi, and the energy shield of the entire spaceship trembled violently. After Gideon and countless mechanical arms made repairs, the vibrations finally subsided. Everyone let out a sigh of relief.
"What on earth is that? It can generate such high-voltage lightning directly. If it weren't for the ship's shield, we would have been turned to ashes..." Lan Liu said, feeling a bit shaken. She was truly grateful that she hadn't gone out with the captain. However, thinking of her teammates brought a wave of worry; she didn't want anything to happen to the captain or Sward.
"Sward, you and Kris get on the ship!" Kris, who had already entered the spaceship, took Hikamu from Sward and Senri. After placing Hikamu in a safe spot, he began to cover for the captain and the others as they climbed aboard.
Sward was quite agile despite his slender frame. After a few counterattacks, Senri also slipped into the protective shield of the small spaceship. Under the cover of their firepower, Reynold quickly boarded the ship and activated the landing craft. The small spacecraft spun a few times before heading straight for Dream Seeker II headquarters.
The battle outside continued, but the interior of the spaceship remained relatively calm. The landing craft safely descended into the recovery bay, and everyone began to get busy again.
"Sward, Kris, hurry up and tend to your wounds! Lan Liu, prepare the medical supplies quickly; Hikamu is in critical condition!!!" Reynold said as he took Hikamu from the ship. Seeing Hikamu's state filled Reynold with an indescribable feeling.
"How could my subordinate end up like this???" he scolded himself, tears welling up in his eyes. Hikamu's body was almost entirely covered in wounds from severe burns. Even that formidable combat suit was now tattered and unrecognizable.
"Captain, what about you?" Sward jumped down from the ship and stood inside the Mother Ship, feeling considerably more at ease. Although he could still sense the brutality of the battle outside, at least they couldn't see it now.
"This little injury is nothing!" Reynold replied as he carried Hikamu toward the medical room, leaving a trail of blood on the floor from his own wound. Seeing this, Kris rushed over to help lift Hikamu alongside the captain. Soon after, Sward joined in as well, while Senri stormed toward the cockpit, shouting that he wanted to personally witness those bastards meet their end. Sain followed closely behind Senri; he also needed to head to the cockpit for his search mission! His heart burned with anger as he just wanted to strangle those monsters himself (even if he didn't have that strength, he'd crush them with his thoughts!).
Reynold quickly reached the medical room where Lan Liu was already prepared. She came over to assist as they carefully placed Hikamu onto a soft bed. Suddenly, many lights turned on, and several large machines began to operate.
However, an unexpected situation arose; Hikamu's injuries were too severe for any machine arm to operate without tearing away chunks of skin. Seeing this made Reynold unable to bear it; he stopped the machine operations and insisted on helping Lan Liu personally...
Outside, Hong Lickqi observed as the spaceship trembled before quickly returning to calmness. He felt both anger and joy within him. The resistance capability of such a spaceship was remarkable, intensifying his desire for conquest. In his view, as galactic civilization trends toward peace, there should be no special weapons involved.
As they fought in the air, they also lifted the morale of their comrades. Although more than half of the Beast Soldiers had fallen at the beginning, ever since the protective barrier had fully activated, casualties among the Beast Soldiers had become rare. However, the ship's shield was under increasing attack; these damned Half-Orcs were monsters, growing stronger with every battle.
Wenke and Fan Qing watched this scene unfold while glancing at the screen displaying the countdown for the Solar Nuke's activation. They began to chant, "Faster, faster..." The ship's energy was dissipating rapidly; each wave of attacks was directly linked to their energy reserves. Fortunately, not long ago, Senri had retrieved energy with a very high purity level, which could adequately supply the weapon systems.
In the medical bay, Lan Liu was tending to Hikamu's wounds, with her captain, Reynold, assisting her. Although Lan Liu had studied medicine, it had only been during the few months before their departure. Reynold was in a similar situation; he only understood some basic nursing knowledge. Nevertheless, their cooperation was efficient, and it seemed that Hikamu's skin was being treated adequately. At that moment, Senri also brought in a machine that had integrated a comprehensive medical manual. This cold, metallic doctor began to work busily while other team members searched for suitable medications within the cabin.
"Fan Qing, how is the preparation for the Solar Nuke going?" Reynold asked as he finally found a moment to rest and connected with Fan Qing.
"The countdown to activation is at three seconds..." Fan Qing replied cautiously; this was no time for jokes—danger was truly imminent!
"Alright then, prepare to target the monsters on the ground and in the sky with the Solar Nuke... Wenke, get ready to activate the superluminal drive."
Reynold was filled with rage and had no choice but to issue this reluctant command.
Outside, all flying Half-Orcs spread their wings and coordinated with their Young Master to launch an all-out assault. Even though there were only a little over a thousand Beast Soldiers, they showed no fear at all, even as death beckoned them closer...
