In the afternoon of the next day, Mai Lao began to prepare for our dive. We donned our Diving Suits, and replaced our Spear and lighting equipment with new ones. We were still following the original plan we had agreed upon: to lure out the Sting Horse Colt and then use the Human-Faced Flower to kill it. 0

Just before we entered the water, Mai Lao gathered us together once more to reiterate the purpose of this dive. He reminded us repeatedly to be extra cautious, to always be aware of our surroundings, and warned us not to act recklessly. A single mistake could lead to total disaster. 0

At that moment, it was not just a matter of failure; we were directly facing the threat of death. I adjusted my mindset. To be honest, it was a lie to say I wasn't scared, but there was no choice—someone had to do this. For the sake of resolving everything as soon as possible and ensuring everyone's safety, I had to give it my all. 0

“Loyalty and Righteousness, are you okay? You seem really nervous,” Mai Lao said, patting my arm. 0

I snapped back to reality and replied, “Oh, I'm fine. I'm not nervous; after all, I have you with me.” 0

Mai Lao nodded. “That's good to hear. Remember, once we're underwater, pay close attention to your surroundings and be extra careful.” 0

“Don't worry, Mai Lao. I don't want to die yet,” I smiled at him before turning and jumping into the sea. 0

We descended steadily. When we reached the Dark Sea Area, we stopped. Everyone knew this was a dangerous gamble where any slip-up was unacceptable. 0

Mai Lao glanced at me, and I nodded back. We swam into the Dark Sea Area and headed toward the Wreck. After passing through those white creatures, we arrived at the top of the Wreck. Mai Lao signaled for us to split up. 0

Jiao Ba and Shunzi took some others toward the cabin while Mai Lao and I headed straight for the gap at the bottom right of the ship's bow. We dove quickly, trying to minimize our time. 0

I gripped my Spear tightly and swept my Underwater Light back and forth. My mind was in a heightened state of concentration. Mai Lao was beside me; he seemed calmer than I was, constantly gesturing for me to keep a cool head. 0

Soon enough, we reached the edge of the gap. Standing there again and looking at the enormous opening felt even more daunting than before; I had an unsettling feeling that something inside was watching us. 0

We floated outside the gap, neither of us daring to step further inside. Our plan was to lure out the Sting Horse Colt, but if we actually entered that gap, it would be easy for both Mai Lao and me to get trapped inside—and potentially die. The space within was limited; if that creature truly lurked inside, we wouldn't have time to escape. 0

I first shone my Underwater Light into the gap. Although I knew it wouldn't have much effect, I still wanted to try. Inside remained a pitch-black void, like an endless abyss. In truth, I was curious about what lay within that large opening; perhaps there was more than just the Sting Horse Colt—maybe we could discover something else entirely. 0

I glanced at Mai Lao and gestured, "Are we going in or not?" 0

Mai Lao kept staring at the gap, not answering for a long time. I figured this Old Man was scared too; all those bold words he had said earlier were probably just nonsense. 0

After about ten seconds, Mai Lao gestured to me, "You swim above the Wreck. I'll lure it out from here. If it comes out, shoot it with the Spear, then turn around and run. Don't worry about me." 0

I didn't quite understand his meaning and gestured back, "Aren't we going to lure it together?" 0

Mai Lao looked at me seriously and gestured, "Trust me, this is the plan. Go." 0

Since he had spoken up, I had to follow his instructions. I swam upstream to a more concealed spot above the Wreck. Although I couldn't clearly see Mai Lao's every move from here, at least I could keep him in my line of sight. 0

At that moment, I noticed the Underwater Light in Mai Lao's hand flickering, and the light was directed into the gap. Suddenly, I realized what he was doing—he was using the flickering light to lure the Sting Horse Colt out. 0

I had to admit that this Old Man was quite clever, but the risk of this method was enormous. Once that creature charged out, he probably wouldn't have time to escape. Just thinking about the massive size of that Black Fish made me tremble all over. 0

I aimed my Underwater Light at the area in front of Mai Lao and positioned my Spear correctly. Now all that was left was for that creature to take the bait. Mai Lao continued flashing his light, and about a minute passed with no sign of anything. 0

The surroundings remained eerily quiet. Just as I was starting to relax my tense mindset, suddenly, thanks to Mai Lao's light, I saw a huge shadow darting out from the gap, heading straight for Mai Lao. It was indeed the Sting Horse Colt; that thing was still alive. 0

I couldn't see how Mai Lao reacted at that moment; I even doubted if he had been swallowed by that Black Fish. But there was no time to think further—I shot my Spear straight out and hit the Black Fish right in the head. 0

I thought this shot would anger it, but I was mistaken. The creature showed no reaction at all; it continued to circle outside the gap as if searching for something. 0

Mai Lao's Underwater Light had disappeared; I had no idea where he had gone or whether he was alive or dead. The most important thing now was to lure the Sting Horse Colt to the cabin entrance. With Mai Lao gone, I had to take matters into my own hands. 0

I quickly swam closer to the Black Fish and used my Underwater Light to flicker in front of it repeatedly to catch its attention. It’s said that animals are never as smart as humans; even if it was a Sting Horse Colt or some evil being, it couldn’t be too clever after all. 0

Under the rapid flickering of my light, it indeed turned its gun towards me and charged forward. When I saw its head full of spikes and the sharp teeth in its mouth, I let out a terrified scream and turned to swim towards the cabin entrance. 0

I swam with all my might, using every ounce of strength I had. The waters of the Dark Sea Area were calm, but I could clearly feel the turbulence behind me; it was because the Sting Horse Colt was chasing me. 0

I knew I couldn't outswim it. In the deep sea, its speed far surpassed mine, but I didn't dare look back. If I did, I feared that a massive mouth would tear me apart in an instant. 0

The beast-like roar of the Sting Horse Colt echoed behind me, growing closer and closer. I was nearly going insane, knowing it was about to catch up with me. 0

Just at that critical moment, a figure suddenly appeared not far from me. As I focused my gaze, I realized it was Mai Lao—he was still alive! He was aiming a Spear at me, but before I could react, I felt the Spear whiz past my body. 0

I quickly turned and swam rapidly towards the cabin entrance. That shot slowed down the Black Fish's speed. As I neared the cabin entrance, I saw Jiao Ba waiting for my signal next to the Human-Faced Flower. 0

I hurriedly gestured to him, and Jiao Ba immediately reached out to touch the Human-Faced Flower. At that moment, the seabed began to tremble slightly. The originally dark red Human-Faced Flower transformed into a dark green color, and a massive green light illuminated the entire bow of the ship. 0

Then, the petals rapidly opened up, revealing a green face right in front of me. I didn't have time to see what it looked like because the Sting Horse Colt was still hot on my tail. Jiao Ba had already retreated into the cabin. 0

He extended an arm towards me, and I swam forward to grab his hand. We both pulled with all our strength, and I was yanked directly into the cabin. Now I couldn't care less about Mai Lao; once inside, everyone immediately let go, and with a loud bang, the Hatch slammed shut. 0

But right after that, I heard a powerful impact—the Hatch was almost burst open by the Sting Horse Colt. The next second, a sound filled with pain and fear erupted from outside; it was like a roar from hell—the awakening of many Human-Faced Flowers... 0
