In just ten seconds, the Wind, in a defensive position, had already been struck by four swords. These strikes were executed with such skill that evasion seemed nearly impossible. However, due to Wind's familiarity with his junior sister, he managed to avoid any critical hits. The wounds inflicted by the swords were small, allowing for quick recovery of his Force, but there was one crucial condition: he must not be directly attacked in a vital area, or he would suffer severe injuries. This was a condition Wind felt confident he could meet. Yet there was another condition he could not fulfill: his recovery ability with Force needed to be faster than the Force required for healing. 0

A figure flew out from the balcony, swinging its left hand. A blue energy split and shot towards the two of them. The junior sister had five physical forms, but only one was her true body. She dodged and evaded with remarkable agility, but the energy seemed almost sentient; not only was it fast, but it also pursued her relentlessly. When the energy touched her body, it transformed into chains that bound her legs and arms. Wind resisted for a few more seconds before unleashing a Wind Wall to block the energy. To his surprise, the energy morphed into a Hexagram star, penetrating the Wind Wall and ensnaring Wind as well. 0

This binding did not restrict their Force; they could still attack if necessary. However, for two combatants, having their hands and feet bound was equivalent to being restrained in their use of Force. 0

Who is this strong? Able to capture two people at once? 0

Of course, it was Wandering. Wandering landed between them, their Force flickering in and out of visibility, making it difficult to gauge its true strength. Wandering glanced at Wind and then at the junior sister, understanding the situation before asking Wind, "Were you the one making all that noise?" 0

Wind replied earnestly, "Senior, I discovered a non-Alliance member sneaking into Hero City to cause trouble. When I confronted her, she attempted to attack me but was firmly rejected. Unexpectedly, after failing in her attempt, she turned hostile and severely injured me. Even in this crisis, my heart remains with the Alliance; even if I have to endure more sword strikes, I must alert the Alliance. This sincerity can be witnessed by the sun and moon." 0

Wandering was taken aback. Did you think I wouldn't recognize you? While still in shock, seven or eight Force Users arrived together with Dina, the temporary security officer of Hero City. Dina asked, "What’s going on?" 0

Feng Dao replied, "I am an Alliance member; she is not." 0

Dina turned to the junior sister: "Show your Alliance credentials." 0

The junior sister took a step back: "I don’t have any." 0

"Take her down," Dina commanded. Immediately three people stepped forward; the bound junior sister had no chance to resist and was fitted with a Force Lock. However, the Force Lock would not work if the opponent had enough Force to resist it. This action was merely a test of attitude. As expected, when the junior sister unleashed her Force, she shattered the Force Lock. It was akin to police firing warning shots while a criminal refused arrest; what followed would either be severe injury to incapacitate resistance or outright execution. 0

Dina stated coldly: "Kill." In these extraordinary times and circumstances, any practitioner who entered Hero City without legal permission would be executed without question. To ordinary people, Hero City appeared calm; however, Silent City had already been established. The Fire Cult and Pirate King’s forces had arrived ahead of time. With four factions involved, any attack on anyone would lead to significant trouble. 0

As she uttered the command to kill, daggers were already drawn. Wandering quickly interjected: "Stop." 0

Wind added: "Stop! There's no need for killing; just expel her." 0

"Shut up," Wandering shot a glance at Wind. He jumped aside as energy dissipated; Wind regained his freedom while the junior sister took two seconds longer to break free and drew her sword defensively—her Force still weaker than Wind's. 0

Just as Wandering prepared to speak again, a voice rang out: "A nation has its laws; a family has its rules. Regardless of reason, intruding into Hero City gives the Force Alliance the right to detain you. If resistance occurs, lethal force may be used on-site. As a fair and just head of Alliance Hunters and the first hero of the Alliance, you should focus on your duties instead of interfering with Dina's lawful execution of duty. Tell me, Wandering—are you a spy? Are you deliberately trying to undermine our Alliance's credibility?" 0

“Cui Ming, step aside. I knew all along that you and Feng were in cahoots.” Wandering chuckled lightly as Cui Ming appeared at the staircase, clearly in a difficult position. How could he explain the grievances to Dina? Grievances aside, trespassing into Hero City was already a mistake. Moreover, strictly speaking, there was no evidence proving that Feng killed the master; it was all subjective. And Feng was no longer a wanted criminal; under such circumstances, Hero City had an obligation to protect its members. No wonder he had managed to survive in the desert for years—being chased by his junior sister and leading her to Hero City to use her as a pawn. 0

Wandering addressed his junior sister, “Lauren, stop resisting. If you keep this up, you’ll fall into his trap.” Wandering knew the name of Feng's junior sister. 0

Cui Ming interjected, “Honor and life—what's more important? Is it humble survival or brave resistance? The enmity with your master cannot be forgotten; how can you let outsiders hinder you from staying true to yourself? Look into your own conscience—can you face your deceased brother and your master’s spirit if you don’t resist? Are you really that afraid of death?” 0

“Shut up,” both Wandering and Feng shouted in unison. Feng added, “Cui Ming, I never intended to kill her. If I wanted her dead, I would do it myself—don’t add fuel to the fire.” 0

“Like a dog biting Lu Dongbin,” Cui Ming retorted. “Miss, there’s a saying: as long as the green mountains remain, one need not worry about firewood. If you resist now, you will surely die. I ask you, who will expose his evil deeds after your death? Who will punish him? Dying is easy; having the courage to live is much harder. Look at Gou Jian enduring humiliation only to eventually avenge his shame.” 0

Everyone looked at Cui Ming; every word he said seemed reasonable. 0

Seeing his junior sister wavering, Wandering waved his hand. “Take her down.” 0

The two quickly restrained her with a Force Lock. After hesitating for a moment, she finally stopped resisting. The Force Lock tightened, and five seconds later, it secured her Force. Wandering Path instructed, “Take her to Hunter Headquarters… Cui Ming, shut up and don’t say a word, or I’ll hit you.” 0

Cui Ming fell silent and gestured as if to say he was just following orders. After all, he was the first hero; couldn’t he consider saving face? 0

Dina had heard about Feng and believed in him subjectively based on what she knew; objectively speaking, it was her duty to take down the junior sister. But she wasn’t as ruthless as Cui Ming—she wouldn’t take a life over a few words; she just enjoyed watching the drama unfold. 0

Soon everyone dispersed. Wandering looked at Feng and asked, “Is she not your match?” 0

“You can’t say that; my junior sister is a Martial Enthusiast.” Feng sighed. Cui Ming had hit the nail on the head—after years of seclusion in the desert thinking he had greatly improved his strength, he had forgotten about his junior sister’s character; she had also grown stronger. 0

Wandering turned to Cui Ming and said, “Cui Ming, help me think of a way that won’t punish his junior sister while still adhering to Hero City’s rules.” 0

Cui Ming replied, “Let his junior sister sign up for the Assessment Match; that way she can earn a temporary immunity medal.” 0

Wandering clapped his hands in approval and asked further, “How can we resolve their grievances?” 0

Cui Ming suggested, “Let them fight in the arena. Feng should maintain his boastful demeanor so that his foolish junior sister believes he is stronger than her. If he were truly the murderer of their master, he would have killed her long ago. With this reasoning, she will waver in her suspicions against Feng. A few shameless words from him should seal the deal.” 0

Feng asked, “What if I can’t win?” 0

Cui Ming replied, “Come on, don’t be so naive! This is an arena where cheating is allowed. Just have a mage double your Force output—your junior sister won’t notice anything unusual.” 0

"Hey, don't slander my junior sister, okay? She's just a Martial Enthusiast, not an Idiot," Feng said, clearly displeased. 0

"Or you could tell her to give you a few years to find the Murderer who killed your master. If you can't find them, let her deal with it. Just say that you were already tracking down the Murderer's clues, but because of her pursuit, the Murderer escaped. You should sternly accuse her: Do you know who the Murderer is? Is it your lover? Are you two in cahoots?" 0

Feng clapped his hands. "Alright, that method works. Do you think asking for fifty years would be too shameless?" 0

Wandering couldn't be bothered with them. "Feng, go say it yourself. Don't mess things up. Right now, Hero City is on high alert, and the Volunteers are extremely busy. Don't let your little issues stir up trouble." 0

Feng shrugged helplessly and walked away. Before entering the stairs, he turned back and said, "Hey, your little brother seems to have suicidal tendencies." 0

Cui Ming looked at Mi Xiaonan, who froze for a moment and quickly explained, "I don't." 0

"Weren't you saying that your senior brother Ashen arrived in Hero City and that you wanted to meet him? Why are you on the rooftop all alone?" Cui Ming asked as he walked over to Mi Xiaonan and stared him down. 0

Mi Xiaonan glanced at the stairway; everyone had already left. He turned around and sighed deeply. "Cui Ming, look at us five. You four have made significant progress, but I... I don't know what I've been doing these past three years—just drifting aimlessly." 0

Cui Ming sat on the railing; the building was tall with a nice view. "If you're going to compare like that, it's meaningless. We've all had our share of fortunate encounters." Cui Ming was originally a newcomer; given time and space, he could improve significantly, reflecting the power of Strategy with great progress. Li Qing had gained insights from various temples during his ascetic training. Beiyue had inherited treasures from his father, while Ding Ze was chasing leads and encountered Wanderer. 0

What could Mi Xiaonan do? The truth was that he could accomplish many things. Mi Xiaonan had mentioned a concept before; he believed it was possible to simplify the process of converting Force into Chakra, allowing for a massive transformation of Force into Chakra in an instant, forcibly increasing Chakra levels to achieve incredible destructive power in conjunction with ninja traits. He had proposed this idea over three years ago and had some feelings about it. Originally, Cui Ming thought Mi Xiaonan would have become stronger after three years apart, but after their encounter at sea with Big Guy and seeing the damage inflicted on Big Guy, Cui Ming was confused—had Mi Xiaonan really just been coasting through these three years? 0

Cui Ming took out two coins. "Love or career. You work hard for love..." He let go of one coin, which fell downstairs. "It may not yield good results, but it might not be bad either. You work hard for your career; you know whether it will have good results or not. Conversely, if you succeed in your career, your stakes won't just be a coin but a bill." Cui Ming pulled out a One-Hundred Dollar Bill and showed it briefly. Although the metaphor was somewhat messy, Cui Ming believed Mi Xiaonan would understand his point. He also thought Mi Xiaonan had spent too much time on television dramas. If Mi Xiaonan had invested that time in romance with Mi Xiaobo, Cui Ming would consider it worthwhile. However, spending it on television dramas—Cui Ming was quite skeptical about that. 0
