Although Nunu belonged to the Magic System, he was at a disadvantage due to his short reach. Ding Ze was incredibly agile; with bolts of lightning flying out without showcasing any other techniques, he left Nunu in a very precarious position.
Set Off Beiyue was extremely dominant; the opponents had no choice but to send two players against him. The weakness lay in the Bottom Lane where Mi Xiaonan was playing while Cui Ming roamed the jungle and supported Bottom Lane. In an oversight, Cui Ming was ambushed by two opponents and killed; Mi Xiaonan rushed in to save him but arrived too late and ended up being killed as well.
Seeing this unfold, Ye Wen stood up and walked away. Indeed, Beiyue and Ding Ze were quite strong; after all, Beiyue was an Alliance Hunter who had passed rigorous strength assessments. Ye Wen was well aware of Ding Ze's capabilities. What disappointed Ye Wen was Li Qing—he seemed like he was in a daze, wanting to do one thing then another without making any real contributions; his tactical awareness was severely lacking.
It was almost certain that North Moon Group would win this match because Beiyue and Ding Ze were so powerful that their opponents couldn't muster equal numbers to counter them. However, since their opponents had exploited Cui Ming's and Mi Xiaonan's weaknesses, they forced Beiyue to switch lanes and protect Bottom Lane; winning would still take considerable time.
Yellen sighed as he sat next to Wandering: "Cui Ming is putting on quite an act; Li Qing's performance is just terrible."
"Wandering Path": "Yellen, let me ask you, what would you do if you faced them?"

However, Ye Ying was capable of both offense and defense and had strong support capabilities and mobility; she could ignore Cui Ming and lead him around by the nose. If the matchups were different—say she faced Mi Xiaonan and Ye Xin faced Beiyue—there wouldn't be any losses either. The key point remained with Ye Shi and Ding Ze; if Ye Xin could team up with Ye Shi to take down Ding Ze, their group's chances of victory would exceed eighty percent. If Cui Ming managed to eliminate Ye Ying, it wouldn't matter; they could hold their ground in three lanes, and her fourth brother could revive Ye Ying without too much trouble. Therefore, if they fought against the North Moon Group, they would be at a disadvantage; losing anyone would put them in a passive position. The North Moon Group finally emerged victorious, receiving sparse applause from the audience who seemed eager for them to leave and looked forward to a more exciting next match.
The first round of matches concluded after three days; Nine Teams advanced alongside six seeded teams to form the top fifteen. The top fifteen would participate in the Hero Flag Battle, where each team would start from one of fifteen paths. The first team to reach the center point and capture the flag would be declared the winner and would skip the next round.
The fifteen paths were identical in environment and patrolled by giant dragons. If one thought they could defeat a dragon, they could try; otherwise, they'd have to avoid it, which naturally slowed their progress significantly. Along the way, various Force Beasts would obstruct their advance. This Heroic Battle would not only test the team's strength but also the captain's coordination skills since only one living person needed to grab the flag. Thus, they might consider sacrificing four lives to clear a path but also needed to assess whether one person could handle the challenges ahead. (To be continued...)
