According to the regulations set forth by Somaroth and Niguzate, Garen had seven days to train the Human Slave, and so did Lion's Eye. 0

At this point, no one had high hopes for Garen. After all, humans excelled in learning abilities, while the blood clan specialized in the use of blood, such as recovery and speed. In just a few days, how much could one really learn? In comparison, both sides relied heavily on their innate talents. 0

Moreover, Acheron's willingness to propose this idea indicated that he had some confidence backing him. Many blood clan members who were somewhat aware of the internal situation were gleefully anticipating the Solomon Clan's embarrassment. 0

As for the seven days, both the Solomon Clan and Reimer Clan would be provided with accommodations, and various training facilities within would be open for use. The remaining clans could leave early if they wished; however, no one chose to depart, as everyone wanted to witness the spectacle that would unfold after seven days and decided to stay in Starsea City. 0

In a magnificent castle located in the eastern part of the city, servants hurriedly cleaned and prepared the castle at top speed, reopening a series of training facilities and meticulously checking them. 0

It was already dawn on the second day when they finally left the banquet. Garen did not rush to train the young human but instead allowed him to rest first. He took this time to quickly familiarize himself with the training facilities within the castle. 0

The facilities in the castle were numerous and impressive. For instance, the Gravity Room in Southern Half Fortress could amplify gravity up to 78 times, far beyond what ordinary forces could offer. Garen had never seen anything like it back in Blackstone Town. However, this did not mean that humans would fall behind blood clan members. 0

At noon, on a vast lawn. 0

Garen looked at the young human: "What is your name?" 0

"My name is Han Yun," the boy replied calmly. 0

This surprised Garen a bit; he had been worried that after being enslaved by the blood clan for so long, the boy might have developed a timid disposition. But it seemed he had overthought it. 0

Taking another look at Han Yun, Garen noticed he was wearing a thin, worn plaid shirt. His skin was yellowish, with black hair and black eyes. He was somewhat slender but had particularly bright eyes that maintained their composure even when facing someone like Garen. 0

"Are you from the East?" 0

Han Yun nodded and said, "Yes." 0

Garen did not press further. The Godeyas Continent was vast; even within the Holy Empire, it was divided into several large regions. There were many like Han Yun who had been captured by the blood clan as slaves since childhood, and often such youths did not remember their hometowns from their early years. 0

"I am your mentor, Garen. I believe you understand the rules; during this time, I will do my best to help you. As for how much you can improve, that depends on yourself." 0

"Yes, Mentor Garen!" Han Yun replied loudly. 0

"Now go ahead and choose a weapon," Garen said with a satisfied nod. Although it appeared that Han Yun was helping Garen achieve victory, there were many victories but few opportunities to grow stronger. After their conversation, Garen was certain that Han Yun desired strength more than he had imagined. 0

The Armory deep within the castle stood open, lined with Iron Cabinets that neatly displayed a variety of weapons. 0

"What about this Rapier? You're somewhat weak in strength and not suited for heavy weapons," Garen said as he took down a Silver Longsword and turned back with a smile. 0

Han Yun shook his head. 0

Garen chuckled, not in a hurry. Choosing a weapon was something he could easily assist with; his keen eye could select the most suitable one and even provide Han Yun with a significant boost in a short time. However, one must remember that a weapon is the most loyal companion. If one does not truly love it, it could become their greatest weakness over time. 0

Even if he was only a mentor for seven days, Garen did not want to take this lightly. 0

"What about this?" After putting the Rapier back, Garen picked up a pair of Hand Axes. These Hand Axes were light and sharp, suitable for both offense and defense, making them quite appropriate for Han Yun. 0

Han Yun weighed them in his hands but shook his head again. 0

"What kind do you want?" Garen asked, somewhat puzzled. 0

"Um..." Han Yun thought for a moment. "Something longer!" 0

Longer? Garen was taken aback. It was important to note that Han Yun was not particularly tall and would be better off using lighter and more lethal weapons. Longer weapons tended to be too cumbersome; without years of practice, they would be difficult for Han Yun to handle. 0

"How about this?" Garen drew out a Double-Edged Battle Axe, its end hitting the ground with a dull clang. 0

Han Yun's eyes brightened slightly as he reached out to grab the long axe, but then his expression gradually turned sour. 0

"Too... too heavy." 0

Han Yun whispered, then quietly observed Garen. Although he did not fear this man, he knew that a person's patience was always limited. Moreover, he was just a lowly slave; if he wore down the other’s patience, he would surely face a beating. 0

Strangely enough, Garen did not seem impatient. He stroked his chin thoughtfully and then broke into a smile. 0

"I think so too." 0

Han Yun was taken aback, surprise evident in his eyes. As a slave, he had never been treated this way before. Before he could collect his thoughts, Garen's voice came again. 0

"What about this one? But I think you won't like it; you probably want something more imposing." Garen picked up a long whip, played with it for a moment, and then put it back. 0

Han Yun felt an inexplicable flutter in his heart, sensing that this man was different from the adults he usually encountered. 0

At that moment, Han Yun's gaze fell on something. 0

"I want that one!" 0

Garen followed his gaze and quickly identified the weapon Han Yun was pointing at. He stroked his chin, his expression becoming somewhat peculiar. 0

That was suddenly a spear! Twelve meters long, entirely painted in black, with the front two meters covered in gold paint and intricately carved with delicate patterns. The tip gleamed sharply. 0

Meanwhile, while Garen was helping Han Yun choose weapons, the Reimer Clan had already begun their training. 0

The bloodline youth chosen by Lion's Eye was named Hans. He was originally a descendant of some lowly cannon fodder from the Lessenburg Clan. Due to Hans's father getting drunk and causing trouble, accidentally burning an important document, he was sentenced to death. As a result, Hans and his two brothers were reduced to slavery. 0

During his time at the Cannon Fodder Dormitory, Hans often got into fights with the boy next door. Although his fighting skills were quite rudimentary, he had developed a sturdy physique, which could be considered a basic foundation. Compared to the other slaves, he was doing quite well, and this was one of the main reasons why Lion's Eye chose him. 0

The afternoon sunlight streamed through the glass, illuminating the spacious living room. Hans held a double-bladed axe in his left hand and donned a round shield on his right, practicing the movements that Lion's Eye had instructed him to perform. 0

"It's impossible to achieve any significant results in just seven days. Rather than wasting too many resources, it’s better to make good use of his talents. Hans is quite strong; distributing the weight between both hands allows these two weapons to fully utilize his advantages," Lion's Eye explained to Acheron, who was lounging on the sofa. 0

"So you have enough confidence then?" Acheron took a sip from his goblet, wiping away the blood at the corner of his mouth. 0

"Yes," Lion's Eye nodded calmly, completely unconcerned about Garen's side of things. 0

"That’s true; that guy probably wouldn’t even dream that you once served as an officer for seven years over six hundred men," Acheron chuckled, then narrowed his eyes. "But those are trivial matters. The more important thing is to successfully keep that woman." 0

Lion's Eye nodded, fully aware that "that woman" referred to Su Ye. 0

"Although there are still seven days left, just to be safe, how about tonight..." Lion's Eye's eyes glinted with a hint of menace. 0

"Tonight, you should stay here and train your disciple." 0

"What? But what about Su Ye..." Lion's Eye was taken aback. 0

"What's the rush?" 0

Acheron toyed with his ring, his expression unreadable. "Someone is even more anxious than we are." 0
