"What am I seeing? Is this Beauty and the Beast? That girl's figure is hardly bigger than a giant bear's toe," Wei Chen thought, watching the exaggerated scene, feeling a bit tipsy.
A colossal beast was being chased and attacked by a girl who looked no older than seventeen or eighteen?
The giant bear crashed into tree after tree, desperately fleeing. The girl wielded her sword, sending streaks of Sword Light flying, piercing into the bear's body.
She targeted the bear's most vulnerable spots, particularly its abdomen, with each strike precise and ruthless.

A dull sound echoed from the giant bear's body as Wei Chen's luck turned; he landed right on top of it. The thick layer of muscle provided excellent cushioning, leaving him feeling soft and uncomfortable.
"Paralyze, that was close. If I had fallen to the ground, I would have been seriously injured."
Wei Chen cursed as he climbed up, standing on the giant bear's back with his legs sinking deep, leaving only his upper body exposed.
A flash of cold light came rushing at him!
Wei Chen hurriedly dodged as the sharp Sword Light grazed his arm. Although it didn't hit him directly, the chilling aura made his skin sting painfully.
"Who are you?" A clear and melodious voice called out. Wei Chen looked in the direction of the voice and saw a girl with a sword squinting at him from atop the giant bear's head.
"Don't get me wrong; I was just resting in the tree and have no intention of stealing your bear. You can take it; I'll come down right now." Wei Chen was about to get angry after nearly being hurt by that Sword Light.
However, when he clearly saw the girl's face, he froze.
The girl was stunningly beautiful, with a perfect oval face, fair skin, a straight nose, and large eyes like clear glass. Her long black hair flowed freely, exuding breathtaking beauty.
She had a slender figure but was not lacking in curves; her waist was delicate and her legs long and straight.
Such a beautiful girl left Wei Chen with no anger at all. Moreover, she gave him a somewhat familiar feeling, as if he had seen her somewhere before...
Wei Chen jumped down from the giant bear's body, picked up his large knife, and turned to leave. Just because he admired beauty didn't mean he would actively flirt.
"Stop!" The girl seemed to be both scolding and pleading.

"Sorry." The girl slightly bowed to Wei Chen with a troubled expression. She jumped down and stood in front of him earnestly. "I only need the Bear Gallbladder. If you help me retrieve it, I'll give you the Demon Core as a reward."
Wei Chen was astonished. This giant bear must be at least a fourth-tier high-level beast, right? And for such a big bear, the Demon Core would definitely be valuable.
"Is this for real?" Wei Chen asked.
"Mm." The girl nodded, stepping aside to indicate that Wei Chen should take action. It was clear she was afraid of getting blood on her and didn't want to do it herself.

He dove back into the giant bear's belly and retrieved an equally gigantic demon core.
"Mission accomplished. If there's nothing else, I'm leaving," Wei Chen said cheerfully, cradling the demon core without caring about being covered in blood. Finding a place to absorb the demon core was his priority.
"Wait." The woman called out to Wei Chen again, her expression awkward as she asked, "Is there any way you could help me eat this bear gallbladder?"
"Uh..." Wei Chen swallowed hard. Was this woman crazy?
He shook his head vigorously. "No way, it's too big; no one can eat that."
Upon hearing this, the girl's expression dimmed, and she seemed a bit dejected.
"Why do you want to eat the bear gallbladder?" Wei Chen asked.
"I have internal injuries and need the nourishment from the bear gallbladder," she replied.
Seeing that the girl was in low spirits, Wei Chen decided not to rush off. He set the demon core aside and examined the bear gallbladder closely, pondering how it could be consumed.
"Wait here; I'll go find something," Wei Chen instructed before darting off in a flash.
The girl gazed in the direction of the departure, quietly thinking, "How strange. I have no wariness towards this person at all, as if I feel he wouldn't do anything to harm me."
"I've come all the way to Eryuan City alone. My family must be worried sick. If I can't get the item guarded by the Flamingo, I'm sure I'll be scolded by Grandpa when I return," she murmured to herself.

Her eyes brightened, revealing joy as Wei Chen's figure appeared in her sight.
In this dangerous place of Lijun Mountain, the lonely girl unexpectedly encountered a handsome young man, stirring some peculiar feelings within her heart.
"He really likes to keep clean," she thought as she saw Wei Chen, feeling refreshed.
Wei Chen found a mountain stream to wash himself clean and used Soul Power to dry his clothes, looking much more comfortable now.
He held a section of bamboo in his hand.
"When I climbed up here, I saw a bamboo grove. You can use this; just insert it and suck out the gallbladder juice. It's quite simple," Wei Chen said as he handed the bamboo to the girl, no longer in a hurry to leave.
"Since we're going to spend the night here anyway, it seems this girl is in the same situation. Two people are better than one," Wei Chen thought, harboring no selfish intentions; he wasn't the type to feel restless around beautiful women.
If he were that kind of person, he wouldn't have let Qingyue leave back in Wushuang City.
The girl inserted the bamboo into the giant Bear Gallbladder and closed her eyes, sucking greedily while her face contorted in pain.
"Take your time. Internal injuries are hard to treat. If you suck too much at once and can't swallow later, it would be a waste," Wei Chen kindly reminded her.
"Um." The girl released the bamboo tube, licked her lips, and actively walked over to sit beside Wei Chen. Tilting her head, she looked at him and said softly, "I'm really sorry for striking you with my sword earlier. I suddenly saw someone and got nervous, so I acted without thinking. I didn't hurt you, did I?"
"It's fine. With your strength, you probably couldn't hurt me anyway," Wei Chen chuckled.
The girl pouted in defiance. "I'm at the ninth level of Power Realm! You're only at the ninth level of Fate Soul Realm, right? That's a whole major realm above you!"

"That's true," the girl nodded and then asked, "What are you doing here? I heard the mushrooms here are delicious. Are you here to pick mushrooms?"
"Uh..." Wei Chen was speechless. He looked at her helplessly, thinking how adorable she was. At first, she had tried to put on an air of a skilled practitioner with a cold demeanor, but the more they interacted, her true nature began to show.
"Fortunately, I'm not a bad person. A beautiful girl like her has almost zero wariness towards strangers; she wouldn't even know if someone sold her out. How could she come to such a dangerous place like Lijun Mountain alone? Doesn't her family care?" Wei Chen silently complained.
"Beautiful lady, I'm not here to pick mushrooms. I was afraid of scaring you off; I'm actually going to the mountaintop to hunt that Flamingo," Wei Chen said with a smile as he looked at her.
To his surprise, the girl excitedly clenched her fist and waved it, her eyes sparkling with joy as she exclaimed, "Me too!"

"With your level of strength, can you really kill the Flamingo?" Wei Chen couldn't help but want to bring her down a notch.
"Your Soul Power Realm is nine levels lower than mine, and you have one less Martial Soul than I do. If I can't kill the Flamingo, do you think you can?" The girl pouted in displeasure and countered Wei Chen.
Wei Chen wore a mournful expression; how did he end up meeting his match? She was sharp-tongued yet cute—he couldn't really fight her without looking petty. It was quite frustrating...
"Alright, you win. What do you want to kill the Flamingo for?" Wei Chen thought it couldn't be that coincidental; perhaps she also wanted to condense her Martial Soul?
The girl hesitated for a moment, her eyes flickering as she said, "You tell me your purpose first, and then I'll tell you mine."
"I want to condense the Power Soul; Flamingo is the best choice," Wei Chen replied in a deep voice.
"Really? Flamingo isn't that strong," the beautiful woman said, looking at Wei Chen seriously. "Let me tell you, don't easily condense a Beast Soul. Among all Martial Souls, Beast Souls are the weakest, unless they are from powerful Ancient Beasts."

"My name is Wei Chen. I'm fleeing from the Eastern Wasteland. Hehe, what about you?" Wei Chen was clever; by sharing his background, he made it difficult for her not to reveal hers.
"I'm from the Ling City Ancient Spirit Academy. My name is Mu Qingyan."
Mu Qingyan? Ancient Spirit Academy? Musa?
