The young boy wore thin clothing, just a slightly thicker fur coat, topped with a leather hat, and his face was covered by a beast skin mask to fend off the biting cold.
The frigid wind was piercing; anyone else leaving Blizzard City would be bundled up like a dumpling, but the boy's attire felt somewhat unconventional.
He did not feel cold at all; instead, he felt warm. The endless Snowfield stretched before him, a vast expanse of white that opened his heart, almost making him burst into song.
Four Snow Wolf Dogs panted ahead, their breath visible in the chill. The boy held onto the sled's handle, channeling a thread of Soul Power into the four Snow Wolf Dogs, allowing them to run at incredible speed without tiring, their bodies brimming with energy.
In no time, the Sled sped forward like an arrow, leaving Blizzard City a thousand miles behind.
Suddenly, a piece of black cloth unfurled ahead, flapping in the wind and standing out starkly against the white snow. The boy had learned in Blizzard City that it was a distress signal.
"To help those in need is my duty. I can't ignore this matter, but since I've encountered it, I’ll lend a hand within my capabilities. Ni Junlin is a snake and can slay the Sand Wolf Gang's bandits; why can't I do something similar?"
The boy was Wei Chen. He called for the Snow Wolf Dogs to slow down and stopped.
Jumping off the Sled, Wei Chen approached the black cloth and saw a man and a woman not far away. The man lay on the ground while the woman held up the black cloth, hoping for a miracle that seemed almost impossible.
Seeing someone approach, the girl cried out, "Help! Help! Big brother, save us!"
"What happened?" Wei Chen asked as he reached them. The girl appeared to be around ten years old, at the height of her beauty. The man on the ground looked to be in his early twenties, with a dagger lodged in his chest; blood had already congealed, and he showed no signs of breathing.
"Please save my brother! I beg you to save him!"
Her voice was hoarse with tears; she must have been crying for quite some time. When she saw Wei Chen, it was as if she had found her last hope.
Wei Chen sighed and knelt beside the man. He placed his hand on the man's chest and infused him with a surge of Soul Power, but there was no response. The man's body was already cold; he had died long ago.
"He has been dead for several hours; didn't you know?" Wei Chen asked with furrowed brows.
The girl’s cries abruptly ceased as she swayed unsteadily before collapsing onto the ground, fainting away.
She could not possibly be unaware of her brother's death; perhaps she simply could not accept that reality. It wasn't until Wei Chen arrived that she could no longer hold on and succumbed to unconsciousness to escape this moment of heartbreak.
Wei Chen sighed helplessly a few times and walked over to the girl, placing his right palm on her chest.
"Wow, I didn't expect it to be this big!"
Wei Chen stared at the girl's pretty face, feeling the firmness and elasticity beneath his hand, unable to resist giving it a gentle squeeze...

Feeling pity, Wei Chen drew his Jinghong Sword from his waist and activated his Soul Power. With swift strokes, he carved out a large pit in the ground.
The girl looked at Wei Chen gratefully. Although she couldn't see his face, his eyes were quite beautiful.
She pushed her brother's body into the ice pit, and Wei Chen helped her fill it in before asking, "What happened? You two have no Soul Power but dared to come to The Extreme North?"
