“What is the Sea Tribe Training Ground?” Wei Chen asked in fear.
Han Mang stopped flying, his expression turning serious. Wei Chen followed suit, unwilling to take any risks.
“The Sea Tribe Training Ground is usually located on an island. The Sea Tribe practices there before launching an attack on the human continent, adapting to the environment. The Sea Tribe has two respiratory systems; the cilia in their nasal cavities allow them to breathe both underwater and on land. This is a unique advantage that no other race can match.”
Han Mang sighed with a bitter smile. “Our luck is quite poor. We haven’t encountered any major storms, and now we finally find an island but can’t land on it. Let’s just go around.”
“Not going!”
Wei Chen shook his head. “I can’t hold on any longer. I’d rather be caught by the Sea Tribe and take a nap than keep flying.”
With that, he gathered his Soul Power beneath him and charged toward the island.
Han Mang couldn’t stop him and followed with a wry smile. In truth, he didn’t want to fly anymore either; being captured by the Sea Tribe and sent to their prison would be a kind of relief.
Soon, they landed on the island and triggered a formation.
A group of Sea Tribe soldiers rushed over, led by a strikingly handsome man, the kind that even other men would consider beautiful. However, his gaze was anything but friendly.
“Humans? You dare come to our Sea Tribe’s territory? Are you looking for death?” he shouted coldly.
“We’re just passing through on our way to the Central Domain,” Han Mang replied politely. “We only want to borrow a place to rest for a bit. Don’t worry, we’ll leave right after we take a nap; we won’t cause any trouble.”
He shot Wei Chen a glance, signaling him not to act recklessly. Being in someone else’s territory, no matter how powerful they were, it was best to keep things peaceful and leave after resting.
Wei Chen had no intention of causing trouble either. The Sea Tribe was not weaker than humans; although the soldier before them seemed not very strong in Soul Power Realm, deep within the island were powerful presences that made even Han Mang hesitant to act rashly.
Earth Soul Realm Level Four is quite powerful in the Eastern Region, being the strongest, but in the vast ocean, that might not be the case.
Transitioning from Earth Soul Realm Level Four to Earth Soul Realm Level Five is a significant hurdle. Countless Earth Soul Realm Experts have been stuck at Earth Soul Realm Level Four, struggling for decades without being able to break through to Earth Soul Realm Level Five. Any Earth Soul Realm Level Five expert can easily slay a Earth Soul Realm Level Four expert.
Han Mang and Wei Chen are unaware if such powerful beings exist deep within the islands, so it’s best not to stir up trouble.
“In the territory of the Sea Tribe, how can humans just barge in? Capture them!”
The leader shouted coldly, and the soldiers surged forward, capturing Wei Chen and Han Mang without resistance.
The two were tightly bound, and as soon as the ropes were on them, their smiles faded.
The ropes contained a peculiar formation; once bound, they found they could no longer summon their Soul Power!
Wei Chen and Han Mang exchanged glances, both seeing fear reflected in each other's eyes.
The strength of this Training Ground was certainly formidable! What ordinary Sea Tribe Training Ground would possess such ropes?
They were thrown into a Prison, adopting a mindset of acceptance. They didn’t concern themselves with what lay ahead and fell into a deep sleep.
They slept soundly for four nights!
Unaware of how long they had been asleep, they both woke up almost simultaneously.
The cell was relatively clean; the wooden bars emanated a faint aura of formation. After testing it out, Han Mang’s expression turned grave. “Wei Chenzi, we’re in trouble. We’re trapped here and can’t get out.”
“Is that so? Aren’t you a Formation Master? What ordinary formation could possibly hold you?” Wei Chen asked in surprise.
“This formation is very strong; it’s at least a Ninth-Rank Intermediate Formation. It’s not impossible to break, but this formation is linked to an external one. If we trigger it, it will raise alarms, and a large number of people will come rushing over. I never expected to accidentally end up in such a cursed place. What ordinary Sea Tribe Training Ground would have such power? I suspect this island might be part of the Demon Emperor's Domain.”
“Demon Emperor's Domain? Damn, what a coincidence!”
As soon as Wei Chen finished speaking, the handsome young man who had brought them in approached with several subordinates.
“You're awake?” the young man asked.
“Brother, thanks for the hospitality. We’ve had enough rest; can we leave now?”
“Do you think Penglai Island is just any place where you can come and go as you please?” The young man sneered and continued, “Recently, many humans have come to Penglai Island, all locked up in this prison. What are you humans plotting? Do you think I don’t know?”
“Brother, it’s really a misunderstanding. Look, we’ve slept for so long. Our destination is Blackwater Territory. If you let us go, we’ll leave immediately and won’t do anything against you,” Han Mang said with a charming smile.
The young man scoffed and said, “In a few days, someone who can make decisions will arrive. I can’t guarantee what will happen to you then. For now, just behave yourselves. If it weren’t for your decent strength, I would have killed you already. Earth Soul Realm Level Four and Spirit Wisdom Realm Eighth Layer aren’t too bad.”
“If you need anything, feel free to ask. Food and drink, we will accommodate you. I wonder if you can get used to Sea Tribe food.”
With a mocking expression, the young man led his team away.
Soon after, a Sea Tribe Soldier brought fresh water and food.
The food from the Sea Tribe was completely different from human food. While human cuisine focused on cooking methods—frying, boiling, and grilling—Sea Tribe food was raw. Looking at the freshly killed fish with their eyes still rolling, Wei Chen and Han Mang exchanged glances filled with tears.
“Go on, eat something; it’s better than being hungry all the time. Sigh, while Soul Warriors are powerful, compared to the forces of nature, what do they amount to? No matter how strong a Soul Warrior is, they can’t leap across this vast ocean without a landing point; even the mightiest Soul Warrior would perish.”
Flora took a few bites, and then Han Mang looked at Wei Chen with a bitter smile and said, “Do you know what kind of place Penglai Island is?”
“I don’t know; I’d like to hear more.”
“Penglai Island is the palace of the Sea Monster Emperor.” Han Mang’s face turned pale and grim.
Hearing Han Mang's words, Wei Chen's expression changed drastically. How could the Sea Witch Empress's Palace allow humans to wander in recklessly?
This was truly a blunder; were they going to rot in prison?
"Old man, you really messed this up. What are we going to do now? Since this is the Sea Demon Emperor's Palace, the Sea Tribe outside must be incredibly powerful. Even if we break the formation and escape, we won't be able to evade the pursuit of the Sea Tribe's strong warriors, right? Don't forget, we're in their territory; no matter which direction we run, we can't escape the Sea Tribe's domain."
Wei Chen was at a loss for words, wanting to cry but unable to.
Han Mang pondered for a moment and said, "Let's wait and see. That person mentioned that many humans have recently arrived at Penglai Island, and many are imprisoned in the Prison. We stumbled in by accident, but those people might be different; perhaps there's some secret hidden among them."

Wei Chen regretted it too late. Han Mang wore an awkward smile; he had no way to rent a Warship since the old woman refused him. Wei Chen accompanied him across the sea, and he felt deeply moved. Being trapped this time meant he could only silently apologize to Wei Chen in his heart.
"If they’ve already reached the Central Domain, that old woman may hate me, but she treats Han Che quite well; there shouldn't be any trouble. In Blackwater Territory, she has a lot of influence. I know her temperament; she will arrange things well for them. By the time we reach the Central Domain, looking disheveled and dirty, she will surely mock me."
"Old man, if that's the case, then being in Blackwater Territory isn't so bad after all."

"Old man, I have a question," Wei Chen said after finishing his cultivation. Seeing Old Man Han Mang still studying the formation, he walked over and suddenly asked.
Han Mang turned to look at Wei Chen and replied helplessly, "I've already come up with some ideas for breaking this formation. If I study it a bit longer, I'll definitely find a way to escape without anyone noticing... What do you want to ask?"
"In the Eastern Region, those of your level, including Mo and Mi from the Soul Palace, and the deceased Ling Jueyun, are all at Earth Soul Realm Level Four. It is said that Earth Soul Realm Level Four is a significant hurdle, but why is that?"

Wei Chen replied incredulously, "So you mean you know nothing?"

No one can provide a specific definition, which is why the Three Trials have trapped so many people. Among the higher-ups in the Central Domain, there’s a saying: 'Those who haven't reached Level Five are not considered true experts,' referring specifically to Earth Soul Realm Level Four practitioners. Without experiencing these insights, one cannot reach Earth Soul Realm Level Five; they are not regarded as true experts."
Wei Chen pressed further, "So what about you now?"
"I have comprehended two of them and faintly see hope for breaking through to Earth Soul Realm Level Five."
"What are those two?" Wei Chen asked.
Han Mang contemplated for a moment before responding, "When I was slandered by Mighty and left Peach Blossom Island in anger, I gained insight into betrayal. Living alone in the Snowfield for several years allowed me to understand loneliness."
"Is it really that simple?" Wei Chen asked in surprise.
"Not at all simple; you'll understand when you reach Earth Soul Realm Level Four," Han Mang sighed. Suddenly gesturing towards Wei Chen, he whispered, "The young man who brought us here has arrived. Stay alert; if we can leave this place, we'll adapt and escape from Penglai Island."
