"What does the beast look like?" Ji Mei asked calmly.

Bohai King explained while glancing nervously at the cave entrance, his face drenched in sweat.
Ji Mei and Wei Chen exchanged glances. Wei Chen nodded slightly and said, "It should be that thing."
"Why hasn't it chased us out?"
"Who knows?" Wei Chen shrugged helplessly. He didn't want to take risks, but seeing Ji Mei's demeanor, he felt he would have to accompany the 'gentleman' into danger.
"Bohai King, you should retreat and wait for us ten miles east. No matter what happens, do not come back. That beast is not something you can contend with; I won't put you in a difficult position."
"Princess, you absolutely mustn't! I feel that if that beast goes mad, even your father wouldn't be able to withstand it!"

Ji Mei trembled all over and looked at Wei Chen with surprise. "What is this?"
"Don't worry so much, just follow me."
After delving a full mile in, feeling as if they had reached the middle of the mountain, a red serpent appeared in the line of sight of Wei Chen and Ji Mei.
"Is that really the Divine Dragon?"
Wei Chen exclaimed in shock upon seeing the creature.
Ji Mei hid behind Wei Chen, peeking at the Strange beast coiled at the bottom of the cave. After hearing Wei Chen's words, her eyes sparkled with curiosity.
"Why hasn't it attacked us?" Ji Mei whispered.
"Because I carry the aura of the Divine Dragon within me, an aura of a higher tier than it," Wei Chen replied calmly.
The Red Dragon's two enormous eyes fixed intently on Wei Chen and Ji Mei, its powerful pressure crashing over Wei Chen in waves, but it was all neutralized by the aura separated by the Golden Dragon.
Eventually, the red dragon opened its mouth and spoke human words: "Human, how do you possess the aura of a Golden Dragon?"
Hearing the Red Dragon speak, both Wei Chen and Ji Mei were taken aback.
Wei Chen was the first to recover, replying coolly, "Because I melted the Dragon Soul, Golden Dragon Martial Soul."
"Impossible! The Golden Dragon is a sovereign among our dragon kin; how could they grant you such power through melting their Dragon Soul?"
"Take a look at what this is."
A faint smile appeared on Wei Chen's face as a black lotus flower manifested in the palm of his hand.
The moment the lotus flower emerged, it captured the attention of both the Red Dragon and Ji Mei.
The lotus, seemingly no larger than half of Wei Chen's palm, emanated an aura that instilled both a sense of pressure and familiarity in Ji Mei.
The coexistence of pressure and familiarity was indeed strange.
The Red Dragon felt the aura from the lotus and instantly shrank in size, becoming only thirty feet long, curling up defensively, its large eyes filled with palpable fear.

Wei Chen's heart raced. He did not fully understand what the Red Dragon was, but he sensed that its aura was unstable, as if it were undergoing a painful transformation. The Red Dragon was not merely a Young Dragon; it was nearly an adult Divine Dragon!
