Upon hearing Wei Chen's response, Dark Mage and Muen, along with other high-ranking members, were taken aback. What was this Fellow doing? They had thought he was clever and calculating, but it turned out he fell for Jiang Han's provocation so easily?
Dark Mage furrowed his brow, thinking to himself, "This shouldn't be the case. Based on his past behavior, he shouldn't be this impulsive. What the hell is going on?"

"Alright, but let me tell you, the Dragon Clan Young Master Ginger Guest is at the Thirteenth Level of Warrior's Thirty-Six Levels. Your current strength is only at the Ninth Level; the gap is enormous. You have no chance against Ginger Guest; one strike will take you down."
Dark Mage was anxious; why wouldn't this child listen to reason?
Jiang Han was equally puzzled by Wei Chen's answer. He had only intended to suppress Wei Chen's arrogance but hadn't expected him to actually agree!

The Dark Mage and Muen exchanged wry smiles; they had no idea where Wei Chen's confidence came from.
"Child, what do you plan to do?" the Dark Mage asked anxiously, looking at Wei Chen.
Muen and the other high-ranking officials stared at Wei Chen in unison, eager to know what his source of confidence truly was. The vast majority believed that Wei Chen was merely boasting.
Wei Chen smiled and said, "Grandfather, you can rest assured. I will not bring shame to the Black Magic Clan, nor to the Dark Magic Royal Family. Since that Jiang Han has already bullied us at our doorstep, if we don't teach them a lesson, they will only become more rampant. Grandfather, I didn't care how you dealt with those people when I wasn't here, but now that I am back, I swear I won't let anyone bully the Black Magic Clan."
From the moment he entered the Demon Realm, a sense of belonging emerged in Wei Chen's heart. This feeling of belonging was something he had never experienced in the Soul World. It was as if breathing in the air of the Demon Realm, along with a bit of Demonic Energy flowing into his body, slowly awakened some of his innate abilities.

Upon hearing Wei Chen's declaration, the Dark Mage felt that Wei Chen was merely waving a flag. After all, with their current strength, there were only four days left until the Demon Arena conference. No matter how hard Wei Chen tried, it would be too late.
