Two women, filled with mutual jealousy and envy, stared at each other in silence, creating an oddly tense atmosphere.
Dark Mage and Ji Dingxuan were hidden away in the hold of the Warship, bargaining with each other, completely unaware that the two noble ladies were clashing like sparks on the deck above.

Yan Qiqi nodded. "Yes, you are the Dark Demon Princess that Wei Chen met in Dragon City?"
The affair between Ji Min and Wei Chen had been circulating widely; it was unclear who had spread it, but it was already a hot topic.
The union of the Young Master of the Dark Demon Clan and the Dark Demon Princess did not evoke jealousy; it seemed like a natural occurrence.
Wei Chen had defeated Ginger Guest and earned great acclaim, which was why people in the Demon Realm were optimistic about Wei Chen and Ji Min. They all knew that given the initial circumstances, Ji Min should have been paired with Ginger Guest instead.

"That's wonderful. I admire your people from the Demon Realm for being so bold in love and hate. It's unimaginable for a woman from our Golden Dragon Clan to propose to a man," Yan Qiqi replied calmly.
Though her words sounded somewhat uncomfortable, Yan Qiqi's gaze was sincere, showing no contempt for Ji Min.
A fire burned within Ji Min, but she had no outlet for it; she felt extremely stifled.
"You certainly know how to speak. I'm going to marry Wei Chen; what will you do then?" Ji Min did not shy away from this fact. She was indeed going to marry Wei Chen; it was not just empty talk. From the way Dark Mage looked at her, she could sense that meaning. She had never felt any affection for any man before; Wei Chen was the first person she didn’t dislike. Since she was going to marry anyway, even if her feelings for Wei Chen weren't deep yet, she thought it would be fine to marry him first and see how things went.
Yan Qiqi was taken aback; she hadn't considered this question at all. If Ji Min married Wei Chen, what would happen to her? Would a member of the esteemed Golden Dragon Royal Family become a concubine for Wei Chen?
This dilemma left Yan Qiqi feeling conflicted. She held no resentment towards Ji Min initially, but thinking about what Ji Min had said made her wonder where she would stand once Ji Min married Wei Chen.
An uncontrollable feeling of jealousy arose in Yan Qiqi's heart towards Ji Min.
She brushed her wind-tousled hair aside and said calmly, "Just go with the flow; no one knows what the future holds."
Yan Qiqi was aware that Wei Chen had many women. Were they all just concubines?
That couldn't be true. Wei Chen would surely find a way to make everyone happy and wouldn't neglect anyone.
Yan Qiqi had immense faith in Wei Chen, unwavering faith.
Ji Min nodded and said, "You seem quite composed. If I were in your position, I would go crazy."

Seeing Yan Qiqi's calm demeanor made Ji Min feel a bit anxious. She asked herself what advantages she had compared to Yan Qiqi.

Looking at the densely packed soldiers, Ji Dingxuan furrowed his brow and said, “Dark Mage, you’ve drawn most of your forces here; aren’t you afraid that the people from the Dragon Clan will take advantage of this to attack the Black Magic Clan?”
“Ha ha, the people from the Dragon Clan wouldn’t dare. While Jiang Lingjian might want to do that, those from the Senator Family disagree, leaving him with no options. The current state of the Dragon Clan is chaotic; with internal strife raging as Jiang Lingjian orders the elimination of the Senator Family, it’s likely to lead to decades of turmoil.”
Upon hearing Dark Mage’s explanation, Ji Dingxuan was astonished. “Does Jiang Lingjian really dare to do that?”
“Jiang Lingjian has long desired to monopolize power but has struggled to find an opportunity. Now that our Black Magic Clan is about to face a Beast Tide, entering a period of decline, he sees this as a prime chance for internal conflict. After all, we in the Black Magic Clan cannot afford to attack the Dragon Clan at such a time.” As he spoke, Dark Mage looked at Ji Dingxuan with a peculiar gaze, a slight smirk curling at his lips.
Ji Dingxuan opened his mouth but found no words came out. He understood what Dark Mage meant: during the internal strife within the Dragon Clan, wouldn’t it be the best opportunity for the Dark Demon Clan?
However, that opportunity was both rare and fraught with peril. If they failed, the Dark Demon Clan would find themselves in a very unfavorable position.
“The upcoming Beast Tide, we in the Black Magic Clan can withstand it; we won’t be nearly destroyed like last time. But make no mistake—the threat of the Beast Tide is no joke. I can’t say how many of these soldiers will survive. Internal conflict has already begun within the Dragon Clan. The Black Magic Clan has no intention of invading any major clan; as long as others don’t provoke us, we won’t initiate conflict with them—that is our creed.”

Hearing the words of the Dark Mage, Ji Dingxuan felt an overwhelming impulse surge within him.

If the Dark Demon Clan wanted to become the strongest in the Demon Realm, this was the best and only chance.

"How many weapons and battle machines can the Black Magic Clan provide us?" Ji Dingxuan asked seriously.
The Black Demon Clan responded, "Conservatively estimated, ten million sets. By then, Wei Chenzi and Jimin Dong will probably have children. Their offspring will surely be the future Demon Emperor of the Black Magic Clan. The bloodline of the future Demon Emperor will be half from your Dark Demon Clan. All we need is peace; we do not want war."
Upon hearing this, Ji Dingxuan nodded heavily and said, "Alright, after the Beast Tide ends, I will return to the Dark Demon Clan immediately and secretly prepare our troops and supplies. The Dark Mage replied lightly, "Just wait and see. This Beast Tide will pose some threats to us, but they won't be too significant."
